May 30, 2009

Raven, Cooper, & Max: Sitter brought our friend over to see us tonight. We watched TV. Of course Raven had to go in time out for picking on me! He was jealous of any petting I was getting. Max got on the sofa with our sitter and hogged up all her petting! That is unfair! We wanna get on the sofa too! Oh well, at least I get to sleep in the bed with the sitter. Max has to sleep in a little box! Hahaha!

Cooper: The sitter is back! I haven't seen him in so long that I had to shake his hand with my mouth and then hop up and down the hall! We went out for a run, but it was pretty warm so after a little bit I slowed down to Raven-speed!

Max: The sitter is amazed that I'm such a fast eater! As soon as he puts it down I eat it up! Yogurt is so good! I'd be a good dishwasher for plates that have yogurt on them! That's my dream job!

Raven: We ran some this afternoon, but it was just too hot! Even Cooper stopped running! And then when he came back later I begged him not to make me run, so he just scratched my neck! That put a big smile on my face!

Weezy: When the sitter first came in I was a little apprehensive, but he dropped me a few treats and put my leash on and I realized that it was time for a walk! And he took me far! It was great! I got to sniff through a bunch of plants and I would randomly lay down in people's yards! And I got to do it more when the sitter came back at night! Then I came back in to watch more Animal Planet! Yay!

Ellie: Somebody's here to pet me! This is just what I needed! Once I started purring I couldn't stop! The sitter is great! He should be a professional cat-scratcher! Well... he kind of is. -Kacey
The sitter was looking all over for me! Silly sitter! I was on the stairs the whole time just watching you look for me! I'll let you pet me a little, then I'm going back to sleep!

Max: We were jumping all over each other to greet the sitter this afternoon! Since we asked very nicely he fixed us some delicious dinner with a treat on top! -Savannah
I'm so excited I almost hopped the gate when the sitter came in! It's time for me to get outside and run! I hope the sitter can keep up!

Maddie: The sitter gave us treats tonight! That got us old ladies excited and Savannah and I ran down the street! The sitter didn't know we could go that fast! He should have! We're not that old! Then we came back in and I made funny faces at the sitter, then found a treat and went wild playing with it!

Hannah: I wasn't even interested in dinner tonight! I just want attention! And a walk! We walked to the park and then I took off and the sitter followed! We ran from one side of Forsyth to the other! And then on the way back to the house I got to sniff all kinds of subtle scents that the sitter missed out on! I even sniffed a rose garden! The sitter could smell that one too!

Pixie & Puff: Puff was very sociable & Pixie followed the sitter around to make sure I found everything!

Candler: I ate plenty of my chicken and I was very friendly & talked a little bite when the sitter was making my food.

May 29, 2009

Raven, Cooper & Max: Run, Woof, Pant, Eat, Play! That's what we have been doing! We are in doggie ecstasy! We are so tired when we go to bed that we sleep really late in the morning. Then we have to rush out the door to go potty! Good thing our sitter doesn't care about how she looks in the morning and just takes us out front right away. She could feed us a little quicker though. We are about to starve by the time she gets it made. Especially Max!

Candler: I woke up and meowed and went into the kitchen for the food to be ready. I got the first finished plate then I wanted to try the next plate. I really love my fish!

Mercedes: Mr. Cloud saved us from melting too much. It was so hot we needed shade for a little while! I found so much to sniff out there, sitter says its the same spots every time I go out...I am just trying to figure out what is on the grass that's all!

Yogi: There were people in the pool since it is so hot out there. I was really interested in it but I don't think they let dogs by the pool. There are no signs so maybe one day I will just jump in and see what happens! ;)

Daisy: Bruno is over and he seems really nice. I don't get jealous at all like some dogs do. I usually let Harmon have the attention when I want to rest so I don't mind.

Bruno: Daisy is so nice for sharing her sitter. I ran around the backyard and pottied. Daisy doesn't do much playing out there. We both were petted a whole lot and I was carried around since so I am so light.

Gabby: Yawn. I'm so sleepy. I woke up to get my shot and the sitter did it nice and quick so I could go back to sleep.

Lily: It's getting mighty toasty outside. Sams and I were both panting when we got back. I could swear I saw sweat dripping off Sams' tongue. He worked hard today.

Sams: I feel like a train powering through the park like a champ. No stopping to scavenge today. I have a workout to finish.

Snowflake: I got the sitter good today. Usually he just has to clean my litter, but today he got to pick it up from all over the floor. Ha ha! First the litter, then the world!

Max: What a storm we had. Thank dog it was a quick one. I am not too fond of puddles that are more than ankle high.

Cooper: We ran hard today. And the thunder was like drums encouraging me to run faster. Both Raven and I put 210% in today.

Raven: Dinner was so yummy tonight. I love fresh parsley on top of a good hot mix of food. Can't wait to find out what dessert is.

Gabby: I was sitting all nice and quiet in the dark under the couch when the sitter pulled me out for my shot. I'm used to it now. Plus the shot doesn't hurt that much.

Benny: It was very loud and busy at the park tonight. There were so many people it was overwhelming. So the sitter took me to a more quiet area to walk.

Max: The sitter is here! The sitter is here! That's what I barked when the sitter got here. We went for a nice stroll and got back just before it rained.

Savannah: Maddie and I had a very delightful walk tonight. We followed some folks around, but we wouldn't tell the sitter why we were so interested.

Maddie: Max is so loud! But I love him. In a I'm going to go walk with Savannah separately kind of way. It's just too much attention for me.

May 28, 2009

Raven, Cooper & Max: We had so much fun having a sleep over with our favorite sitter! Max tried to hog all the attention and petting but we got our time in too! We had dinner and it was sooo good! Breakfast was good too and Max wanted to see if he could get the sitter to give him some extra food. Not very likely!

Sams: Lily and the sitter chanted a victory hymn for me today during workout. We quickened the pace and I could really feel the burn. I love morning jogs.

Lily: Today the sitter and I coached Sams. We got him running good and hard and he worked up a really good sweat.

Snowflake: Try to find me sitter. You never will. I am your shadow and the sound you heard over there. Actually I am inside the couch. Pretty clever eh?

Joey: I was so happy when the sitter came over that I did a little dance. Then it was walk time. We passed quite a few group of dogs and some cats. And the postman said hi to us.

Winston: Today on my walk I kept running into cats. I guess I was being to nosy because they all hissed and told me to mind my own business.

Lucy: Ahhh! A nice relaxing walk. Though walks with Winston can sometimes be rough it was so calming today. Time for a snooze.

Cooper: Are you kidding me? I always get excited when the sitter comes over. In fact, I was so excited that I didn't want to eat my breakfast right away. The sitter even left me alone in the laundry room and went to do other stuff but I just sat by the gate! I waited until after we got back inside to eat. Chef Sitter made all of us our delicious meals then walked us. It was a bit buggy outside but we weren't too bugged by it. Dinner was so good I wish I could have second.

Max: Hello Mr. Sitter! Thanks for the breakfast! I'm glad you let me out after I ate because I really had to go potty. It's nice to be outside, too. Specially in the morning time when it's really peaceful out there! I had my little bowl of dinner then I went for a stroll in the front yard. It feels good to get out. I get to go outside instead of running with the boys. That looks like fun and I kind of wish I could go with but, judging how they look when they come back inside, I bet it's rough work! I doubt I could keep up!

Raven: The sitter came over this morning to give us some breakfast in addition to just coming over to hang out, of course. He arrived and I was in another room taking a bit of a morning nap. I could hear Cooper getting his usual crazy excited but I was kind of sleepy so I didn't have loads of excitement. I love running at sunset. It is so beautiful and much cooler than the day was. I also love parsley.

Gabby: I was in the middle of a nap under the sofa when the sitter came and woke me up for my shot. It's so nice to have a fresh litter box.

Lexus: The sitter arrived and we could hear him from our room. He always gets the leashes before coming to say hello which just kills us cause we know he's in the house! He eventually made his way to our room and let us out one at a time to put on our leashes. We did this with no trouble this morning! When we went on our second walk today, we walked past a house that had some movers loading stuff up into a truck. They had a little radio playing and they were listening to some funk!

Bailey: We also had a pretty awesome walk and the sitter said we were very well behaved. Neither one of us pulled the sitter and we walked side by side almost the whole time! The sitter said he can see some improvements over the last couple of days, and we weren't even bad walkers to begin with! We're just only getting better! I will admit that none of us could resist the urge to break it down just a little...it's inevitable when funk is involved!

Wilson: Hello Mr. Sitter! Long time no see! Today, I was super ready to get out on a nice walk. When the sitter opened my crate, i came barreling out and ran towards the front door. I knew why he was here! So we did have a nice walk and even though it was hot, it was very enjoyable. i saw a kitty and my fur did the mohawk thing down my back!

Patton: I was waiting right at the door for the sitter to get here today. I couldn't have been more ready for a walk. So we get out there and take our usual path and nothing really noteworthy is happening, until he showed up... I'm talking about this HUGE duck that I couldn't help but try and chase. I don't know why I always try so hard. the sitter told me that they know I'm coming for them so they just fly away. Oh well, a dog can dream, can't he?

Rosie: Its always good to just stay on the sofa to catch the sitter. I wouldn't want to be in the middle of a nap when they get here. Have to make sure I get my food first before anything else!

Snowflake: People were over fixing the air, it didn't feel hot too me inside so I guess they fixed it. I did all my business during my walk and showed the air people how I get treats, by barking constantly at the sitter until I get my way!

Yogi: So hot out there but its better than being scared by an umbrella when its raining. I went to the park and ran around trying to sniff everything around. So much out there to do!

Daisy: I was so excited as usual jumping around and dancing to go outside. Harmon came in though since it was out and he needed to cool off. We had treats and got on the couch to get petted...laying on the couch is great!

Cujo: I wasn't thrilled about going for a walk and I didn't like being bribed to go...but when got me moving was thinking I was about to eat, then I was happy and ready to go!

May 27, 2009

Daisy: I was barking at the sitter from inside when she was walking up to the door. I was so excited to be going out! Harmon wanted to stay in I think because it is kinda hot out there.

Yogi: Part of the sidewalk is being fixed so we have to walk the other way. Its a big change outside from all the rain we did have last week! Makes the day so much better when it is sunny!

Rosebud: On the couch watching the door for whoever wants to come in and feed me! I always meow hello and jump off the couch to get my food! I always eat the next little bit also...haven't gotten sick at all...yay!

Gabby: The sitter looked and looked for me. I appeared all of a sudden to get my lovely shot. I was a big girl about it and didn't try to run away from it!

Phloyd: Outside enjoying the weather somewhere...why be inside?!

May 26, 2009

Charlie: I love my peaceful morning walks. Tasty squirrels and birds running all about. The sitter gave me lets of belly scratches when we got back.

Gabby: I got ready and took my shot right away today. I wanted more time to cuddle and give little kisses to the sitter. Might as well nibble on a little breakfast too.

Lily: Breakfast! Sams and I jumped and danced for breakfast. After we went and walked all the way around the park so that Sams could lose some of that gut. I also have to watch my figure.

Sams: Phew! What a workout today! If I keep this up I'll be a he-dog warrior in no time. Strongest dog in the universe, and slim too!

Snowflake: The sitter came and filled me food bowl. It was almost empty, I don't know what I would have done. A ninja cat needs sustenance. Thank you sitter.

Mattie: The sitter and I had a nice quiet walk today and I behaved and listend so well. When we got back I got lots of cuddles from the sitter.

Winston: The sitter knew I was a mischief maker right when he came in. I got to walk twice with Joey and then Lucy to burn all my energy. It was swell.

Lucy: The sitter told me that I was so beautiful. I gave him a big sloppy kiss. He's not so bad looking either.

Joey: I barked at the sitter at first. He was unfamiliar, but now we are best buds and I had so much fun walking with him.

Yogi: Boy does it fell good to be back in the nice cool home. My white fur of course reflects a lot of the heat but it is so hot even that isn't helping much. I need a nice swig of cool water.

Cooper: We got quite a surprise today! We got our haircuts and then the sitter came over and ran us to dry out. We look so beautiful!

Raven: Today was super. Not only do Cooper and I look fantastic, but we got a good exercise as well. A treat should wrap this up nicely.

Wilson: I went on a walk today with the sitter. It was really hot so I jumped in some puddles to cool off. The sitter told me if I found one big enough for him he would join me.

Phloyd: I've been away adventuring lately but I did stop by when the sitter was here. Gabby got her shot and we both ate a little dinner. But my adventures called me back, so off I went.

Lexus: The sitter came over and let us out one by one so it'd be easier for him to get us to sit and put our leashes on. sometimes it's difficult when we're both out of the crates cause we get really excited and don't know quite what to do! But this works out great and he said he'll use this tactic from now on! Man, what a walk this afternoon! It's starting to get really hot again because the sun decided to com back out and the rain went away. We took the same route as this morning so by the time we got back, I was pretty wiped. I plopped down on the floor after taking a big drink...I usually follow the sitter around but I was tired!

Bailey: We had a nice walk, too. There was this other person walking their dog and the dog was barking at us like crazy. We didn't bark back, though. We just watched the other dog act all crazy! We went for a good bit and were pretty pooped by the time we got back inside. Lexus and I both had to take giant gulps of water. We were so well behaved this afternoon, also. We both sat right down and waited for the sitter to put our leashes on and, during our walk, neither one of us tried to pull the sitter. we just walked right next to each other the whole time!

Tumba: The sitter came over and let me out of my crate. after saying hello, he got my leash on me and took me outside. There was a lot of big scary trucks driving by on the road and it was making me really nervous so we only stayed out there long enough to potty. Then we decided to wear me down by playing in the room. The sitter didn't know that he wasn't allowed to let me chew on him so I was tackling him and biting his beard and playing tug with his hand. It was soooooo much fun!
Ok, so the sitter informed that he found out the truth about my nibbling...oh well, we can still have fun. That's what all these toys are for! we went outside to potty like before and then the sitter brought me back in. he gave me my food but i wanted to play instead of eat so we had some fun until the sitter had to leave. he just put my food in my crate with me so i could eat it when i was ready. Goodbye Mr. Sitter! Today was lots of fun!

Rosebud: I was sleeping on the couch and started to get up since someone arrived. I made my way right to the kitchen to get ready to eat. After I was done she sat on the chair and I laid on her feet and flopped around on them a little.

Wilson: It was so hot out there! What a change, right?! I pulled the sitter down the road...a lot of stuff was going on...trucks coming and going. We made sure to stay out of their way.

Mercedes: I had a lot of places to get to...I showed her just where I wanted to go. Once I was done pottying we ended up seeing a snake...Sitter said it probably wasn't alive anymore but we didn't want to find out so we stayed away from it.

May 25, 2009 Happy Memorial Day!!!

Riley: I had to pee so bad when the sitter let me out it took me five minutes to finish! Then we took a walk around the neighborhood. I ate a delicious breakfast when I got back.

Atticus: The reason I'm barking is because I need more attention. Rub behind my ears scratch my butt for me. A treat would be a fantastic addition too!

Gabby: My shot isn't so bad when accompanied by cuddling and scritches and scratches. I didn't even notice it today.

Snowflake: I heard the sound of food being put in my bowl. I also heard my litter box being cleaned. From my surveillance cameras I so cleverly installed I have deduced that the sitter was here.

Yogi: It is hot and noisy outside. But the air is fresh and my walk with the sitter was very nice. So many people we passed told me that I was a beautiful doggie. I blocked a little.

Jackson: Aspen and I were right at the door waiting to go out when Mr. Sitter got here. We walked hard in the heat and all came back exhausted. Fresh water is so good! The sitter said he likes seeing me so excited to get outside. We both did our business and came back in for some cuddles!

Aspen: A midday walk through the neighborhood was exactly what I needed. Besides some scratches behind the ears and on my belly. The sitter was making us breakfast and I wouldn't stop telling him that I really wanted to get outside! So we went outside!

Kaiser: I was happy to wake up to the sitter this morning! He always wakes me up with treats! I got up today and walked all over the yard! I was really curious about the flowers, and kept sniffing them! I got excited to see a neighbor dog who was getting a walk too, and I barked a few times, then laid back down so the sitter could scratch my neck! I'm so happy I can't stop smiling!

Charlie: The sitter came over and woke me up this morning. I mean, I was already awake but he really woke me up by getting me all excited. I was jumping up and down and wagging my tail and spinning in circles. It never fails, I'll always get really hyped up when the sitter comes. Hey! let's go for a walk and then eat some breakfast! Hello again Mr. Sitter. We'll take a walk again cause the backyard is STILL kind of squishy. I guess with the amount of rain we had, I'm not surprised! I didn't see anything really interesting on our walk. It was just kind of nice. The sun had just set so it wasn't really dark and it was just really quiet. ...Except for the fireworks someone set off, those startled me!

Paquita: the sitter came over this morning and got us out of that laundry room. It's much bigger than the crates...not that we ever minded cause we're so well behaved! He got us up and ready to go on our walks and Captain and I took off! We were ready to go and almost didn't wait for the sitter to lock the door! sometimes we just get a little crazy.

Captain: While we were on our walk, we only saw one other set of doggies. The sitter never lets us say hello but that's probably cause we're acting really excited and sometimes bark at the other doggies. Oh well. Let's finish up this walk and get inside and make with the breakfast!

Rosebud: The sitter came over and I shot him a few meows to say hello. I was up on my perch (you know, the back of the sofa) when he walked in. That's where I'm always waiting for him. He came in and opened up the blinds to let the morning light in and put down some of my food while he scooped out my box. He sat down with me for some kitty scratching time and then said goodbye after giving me the rest of my food. Hello again Mr. Sitter. Time for dinner! Come pet me first cause I'm such a sweet kitty! Haha, it worked. I can turn on my cute face...well, i guess i can't turn it on or off cause it's always on! The sitter pet me for a bit and then gave me some food and started with the routine litter, blinds, petting time... an itinerary must always be followed for the best way to finish the job!

Cooper: Happy Memorial day! Mom and dad were home today. when the sitter drove up, we were outside getting some fresh air so we got to go right away on our walk! We took a real nice long job today. we went to both ends of our street from both directions. All the way to the right end and all the way to the left end!

Raven: It was pretty tiring. By the end of the whole thing, Coop and I were huffing pretty good. So was the sitter, it was a hot one today. i guess it's a good thing the rain stopped just in time for memorial day so everyone could have the barbecues and go swimming and all that other stuff people usually do on this holiday. I like to sleep!

The Shelter Pups!: We were all so excited to see the sitter! We got lots of out door time and made sure the sitter was good and muddy before he left! hehe! He gave us a good breakfast and fresh water!

Gabby: I was chilin in the kitchen when the sitter came by. I was ready for my shot. I don't mind my shot at all, especially when I know it's accompanied by some neck scratches!

Phloyd: I still haven't come around to say hey, but I'm sneakin' in for food here and there!

The J. Kitties: We were all lounging around the house when the sitter came. It's too hot out there! He gave us all a big dinner and cleaned up our litter but we didn't really come out to say hi or anything!

May 24, 2009

Aspen: I whine a little bit when the sitter makes us food because I really wanna go outside! But I like the food, I'm not show what Jackson thinks of it though!

Jackson: I like being outside is what I like. We went on a long walk so I could do my business. I was exploring everywhere and pulling every which way if I found a smell I liked!

Gabby: The sitter found me lounging under the couch but he managed to get me out for my shot. I didn't want it but the sitter said we should just get it over with so we could get to the cuddling. I agreed!

Phloyd: I have not been hanging around the house all day. The sitter didn't see me at all. I'm hiding, you know keeping low.

Billy: I am the talker of the century! I said "sitter, give me food" and he did. I said "sitter, clean my litter" and he did. I said "sitter, give my cuddles" and he did!!

Charlie: The sitter came over this morning to help me greet the day. The rain was back a little bit and neither of us were too thrilled about it but the sitter said "power in numbers!" and we went outside. It was only drizzle so it really wasn't that bad. When we got inside, the sitter gave me some breakfast and cuddles. Hello again, Mr. Sitter! No rain for us tonight, just a good old-fashioned walk with no distractions or disturbances. We found one of those mega fuzzy caterpillars on our walk and I wanted to eat it but the sitter wouldn't let me. He sounded like such a mom: "you never know when those things could be poisonous!"

Captain: it was drizzly this morning during our walk. It wasn't that bad when we left but, of course, when we got to a far enough away point, the rain came in stronger. Always does that, doesn't it? That's called irony for those playing the home game! No more rain (again)! but this time there was sunshine all day to back it up! Now we can take a nice long stroll and not worry about getting all yucky and damp. Off we went and Paquita and myself were taking the sitter all over the place. neither one of us could make up our minds on where we wanted to go!

Paquita: when we were on our walk, we came across the path of this other doggie who just wouldn't calm down when it was walking past us. It kept trying to excitedly come over and investigate but all we wanted to do was have a nice morning walk and get home fro breakfast (ok, we were excited too but...you know)

Paquita: I was the one who was having the hardest time deciding where i wanted to go during the walk. I was going this way and that way, and tangling up the sitter in my leash...I just couldn't make up my mind!

Rosebud: Hello Mr. Sitter! Nice to meet you. I'll show you where all of my stuff is! After taking the sitter into the kitchen, he gave me half of my serving of food and then went to scoop out my box. Then we sat down for some cuddle time and scatches. before he left, he made sure to give me the other half of my breakfast! Hello again, Mr. Sitter! Don't forget to close those blinds! Ok, now you can pet me! The sitter followed the same routine as this morning. he already knows what to do! I'm a rel simply kitty and don't need much.

Big Boy: I was the only one who wanted to say hello to the sitter today. I was plopped down on the floor, just lazing about while the sitter got our food all ready. After he cleaned out the litter boxes, he tried to play with me and the feathery toy but I was only interested in laying down right now! he even tried to coax me with some catnip but i got scared and ran away! haha. Sometimes it's fun to be weird.

Bruschi: There's something up in the tree! I want to eat it! Woof Woof!

Beemer: The sitter woke me up this morning and I was so ready to go outside! Bruschi and I ran out back immediately, but I came back to get some attention! The sitter is good at neck scratching!

Kitty: It finally stopped raining! And the sitter brought me more food! Today was a good day!

Kaiser: The sitter woke me up this morning, and again at night! I didn't feel much like walking, I just wanted the sitter to pet me, but eventually he bribed me with some treats to get me out and I just plopped back down in the front yard and went back into relaxation mode!

Tank: When the sitter stopped by this morning I didn't feel much like walking, so we just sat on the porch and I got my neck scratched, but when the sitter came back in the afternoon I actually went out for a circular walk around the yard! Somebody on our block was cooking something that smelled delicious! I want it!

Riley: The sitter came this morning to feed us breakfast and walk us. Atticus and I both gave the sitter hugs when he came in the door. Mmm... I love breakfast.

Molly: All of the kitties and I were ready for breakfast as soon as we hard the sitter. Kermit tried to eat all of our breakfasts but the sitter gave him his bowl in the garage. This Dinovite is dynamite!

Snowflake: The power went out yesterday and the alarm was beeping for so long. The sitter came and turned it off. My ears thank you sitter, but I'm still not coming out.

Atticus: I want to go first! Walk me first please? The sitter told me if I stopped barking so loud that he would take me out first. So I made the deal, now I just use my inside voice.

Aspen: The sitter woke me up from a nap for a walk. I jumped right up and didn't even need time to shake the sleep off. It felt good to get some fresh air and relief.

Kermit: Feed me! Feed me! I was right behind the door as always when the sitter came in. I want first dibs on any edibles coming this way!

Riley: I get so happy and excited when the sitter gets here I jump all over with Atticus. Today I brought the sitter my favorite toy, my little sheep, and we all played with it.

Jackson: We went on a nice night stroll with the sitter. It was much drier outside and warm. After the walk I filled my belly up and took a nap.

Beemer: I was really awake this morning when the sitter came in! And it was still raining! After breakfast Brusch and I ran around the backyard then started rubbing against the sitter so he could smell like wet dog too! Don't want him feeling left out!

Bruschi: It got nice out this afternoon and the sitter ran around the yard with us! I'm faster though! Then when we came back at night, Beemer, the kitty and I all came up to the sitter for attention! He just needs one more arm!

Kitty: Meow! I'm hungry! More food please!

Tank: It was raining out this morning so I didn't feel like going outside! Even though the sitter tried to make me, I wouldn't take a step off the porch! So we went back in for backscratching and he found out how excited I get when I play fetch! It's the best game ever! When he came back in the afternoon I did go for a short walk with him though! It was nice, but I like my couch more!

Kaiser: I greeted the sitter with some loud barks and then I realized who he was! He tried to take me out for a little walk, but I just wanted to lay down in the front yard! I was so happy when he started scratching my neck though! I had a huge smile across my face!

Eddie: I was so excited to see the sitter today, even tho I knew it would be the last time for awhile. We didn't go for a walk just out in the yard to go potty and then she spent a long time just cuddling with me. When she came back at night we ran around the yard and into the house until I just couldn't run anymore.

May 23, 2009

Atticus: I was barking really loud this morning when the sitter came and Riley kept licking me to calm me down. I eventually couldn't fight it and succumbed and Riley and I got treats!

Molly: I was overjoyed to see the sitter and gave him a big hug. Then he made me breakfast. Deee-licious. I went outside and pottied and got a treat!

Snowflake: How sneaky. That sitter crept in here without me knowing and cleaned my litter box. He put more food in my bowl too. How did I miss this?

Aspen: It was sprinkling when the sitter took Jackson and I for a walk. But we walked a block and the rain stopped. It was marvelous the whole rest of the walk.

Riley: My walk with the sitter was nice but there was a lot of commotion outside and I was a bit startled. Atticus did the usual barking routine so the sitter took him out first.

Gabby: That silly sitter must have looked for me for 30 minutes! He finally found me and I came out and got my shot. I thought I was going to stay hidden forever, but that sitter is smart!

Kermit: I am going to eat all the food! Awww, the sitter put the other cats dinners somewhere else and I can't find them. Molly will help me find them then we will share the spoils!

Jackson: I found a strange angry bug tonight on our walk. It chased after us for a little bit. The sitter said it was a potato bug. I wonder if it really tastes like a potato. Because it looks like it tastes yucky.

The Shelter Pups!: It was raining on us! Nooo! That's okay, we were still real happy to see the sitter. He gave us all a good tasty breakfast and some cuddles. Whoop whoop!

Raven:I was taking it slow today. I don't like being out in the rain. I like being dry, so I looooved when the sitter used a towel to dry me off after the run!

Cooper: I don't mind rain at all, I run as fast as I can in any weather conditions. I do shake me head a lot though in the rain, to keep my head from getting too water logged!

Billy: I am a talker! I had so much to say and the sitter kept on talking back. He gave me some delicious tuna which I ate a little bit of before I went over for cuddles!

Rosebud: I came right over to the sitter when he came in. I was a little tired though because I was napping! I watched him give me some food and then we went on the chair so I could get my back scratched!

Paquita: The sitter fed us in the laundry room this morning instead of crating us. Captain tried to take my food after he already ate his own! I know, right? I don't think so Mr. Captain! I'll show you what happens when you try to pull something like that on me. You're lucky the sitter was here or else I would have knocked you into next week! I'm so excited! I was jumping on the sitter saying hello and getting my head scratched, it was so nice! We went out and I was all about doing my business but it took Captain a while!

Captain: Oh man, what a good sleep. You know, even though most people complain about the rain, everybody knows it's good to sleep in it! Very soothing and relaxing! Now i have all this energy to take on the day and carry the sittr all around on our walk. But ironically, cause of the rain, we didn't get to stay out too long in it! I like to explore the territory before I choose a place to go thank you very much! It stopped raining so we had a nice long walk before we came in to go to sleep for the night!

Charlie: The sitter came over on this (not so) fine Saturday morning to wake me up and play. I only say it was a not so fine morning because of this gloomy weather...otherwise I had a blast with the sitter! The sitter just went ahead and told me that based on the amount of rain we've been getting, we probably will have to just do evening walks unless we want to get all muddy in the backyard. You know I'm cool with that but I don't think the sitter wants to. Also, I doubt anyone in the house would appreciate the inevitable mess I'd bring in with me!

Big Boy: This morning, I wasn't in my usual spot that the sitter always finds me. I was actually out on the back porch and came in through the cat door when i noticed he was here. I said hello but wasn't really in the mood to be social. No, not even for some awesome kitty scratches from the sitter!

Snow ball: The sitter saw me before i could dart away so there was no real point in hiding. So I just stayed under the treadmill and watched him prepare our food and then clean out our litter boxes. Thank you, Mr. Sitter but I'll stay under here, thank you.

Isis: The sitter came over and I was so quiet that he had a hard time finding my crate at first. When he opened my crate door, I got a little bit scared of him and started barking but as soon as he grabbed my leash, I knew that he was a good guy who was here to take care of me! I came out of my crate with my tail wagging and ready to properly introduce myself! Hello again, Mr. Sitter! No more growling introduction this time! We got on that walk right away but, what's this? Rain?! Aw...forgive my pun but rain always rains on everyone's parade. One more walk for the day. Not so much rain tonight so we got to go on an even longer walk than this morning. And i got to eat dinner after the walk, too! I love me some dinner. I didn't eat my breakfast while the sitter was here this morning but you can bet that I'll scarf all this dinner down!

Josie: When the sitter came over i tried sooooo hard not to jump and get too excited. It worked a little...I still had to jump up cause I couldn't contain myself! The sitter told me a did a good job anyways, so ha! We took a really nice walk today, the rain stopped for us so there was no hurrying up o get out of it or anything.

Summer: It really was a nice walk. Both Josie and I got all our business taken care of too so we'll be good to go until we go out next. When we got back inside, Josie and i each went for some huge drinks of water and then the sitter gave us a treat for being so much fun today.

Eddie: The sitter was able to take me on a walk this afternoon, the first time since she'd been taking care of me. We walked all the way down to the end of the street and back, I barely made it inside when I puked on the kitchen floor. I think that's the last time the sitter is going to walk me, my mom was right I'm not much for walking.

May 22, 2009

Molly: I was surprised to see someone on the other side of the door that wasnt my family! The sitter said the last time she saw me was almost 2 years ago, that is a long time! I didn't want to be outside in that rain but I did potty. All the yucky rain needs to go away!

Bruschi: I ran all around the yard like crazy! I found something in a tree and I was jumping like I could actually reach whatever it was! Too bad I can't climb a tree...but then I might not be able to get down.

Beemer: I barked a little bit but not for long. I ran around with Bruschi...luckily it was not raining! So happy to have a break from all of that! She gave me some more water and I was so thirsty!

Charlie: The sitter arrived this morning to give me breakfast and take me for a walk. This stupid rain is making it kind of hard to enjoy a nice walk, though. The sitter keeps wimping out and bringing an umbrella with him, though. You don't see me walking around with an umbrella, do you? Yeah, didn't think so! The backyard is way too soggy to run around in (go figure...big surprise with all this rain!) so the sitter and I took a nice evening walk.

Lula: Yucky icky rain! When will it stop? We had to brave it once again. It wasn't super bad but it always feels yucky no matter what Gloomy days are never fun. What is is with people and hiding under things or moving faster when it's raining anyways? You're going to get wet no matter what. Might as well embrace it!

Coco: When we got back to where it was dry, the sitter leveled off our food and gave us our scoops of canned food. He did the same for the cats' food bowls and took care of everyone's litter boxes. He tried to get us to play with some of our toys but today we were both far more interested in what he was doing.

Raven: What a busy day inside today! When the sitter was outside, we were already out there waiting for him. We were just getting some air in preparation for our walk cause there was a nice sunny break in the rain. Everyone was home and there was a cleaner inside working away and then the sitter came over and then we had a run...how exciting!

Cooper: Yeah, crazy day today. We went really far on our run today, too. We went a different way than we normally do and probably won't go that way again because there's little room to run but it was a nice adventure anyways! Let's get back inside where the ground isn't all soggy and where there are snacks and treats waiting for us!

Captain: The sitter came over tonight to take us on a nice walk and boy were we excited to see him! We were dancing around him and hopping up and down until he got those leashes on us and off we were like a couple of speed demons! We tried to take the sitter all over the neighborhood but he insisted on leading us around. We decided to humor him for today.

Paquita: The sitter kept us out for a long time which was nice cause it's what we really wanted. Yeah, like we're really going to pass up an opportunity to go exploring outside! Does that really look like us? hmm. unfortunately, we did eventually have to go inside but we were pretty pooped by that time!

Bruschi: I gave the sitter a funny look when he came in tonight! But then I remembered who he was! I hopped on the bed for some back scratching and then we went out and Bruschi and I chased each other back and forth across the yard! -Beemer
We weren't even very interested in food tonight! We just wanted to follow the sitter around! Beemer and I played around some and then the sitter tried to get me to play fetch! I ran after the ball but didn't feel like bringing it back! How about some treats!

Riley: The sitter heard us as he was walking up! And then we hollered 'hello' to him for a while! I wanted out the most, and the sitter could tell because of how high I hopped, so I went for a walk first. Once I did my business I wanted back in though!

Atticus: I can't stop talking! The only way the sitter could get me quiet was to give me food or take me for a walk! So he did both! We ran some and I sniffed around and was super friendly! Then when we came back in I started talking again! I've just got a lot to say!

Lei: I was a little cranky this morning and did not want to put my harness on. I walked all the crankies out of me and returned in a better mood.

Sams: The sun seems to be attempting an appearance, but the park still has a few lakes in it. There was a lot of food on the ground but Lily and I ignored it. I'd rather eat my delicious breakfast.

Lily: No! The rain is going away and my precious puddles with it. Oh well, I have nothing against a beautiful sunny day. I know Sams and the sitter would enjoy it more.

Snowflake: I was right near the door when the sitter came in. I had to roll across the floor ninja style and jump into the couch. I was very quick and stealthy.

Yogi: It was so windy outside! I thought I was going to be blown away and turned into a Yogi-kite! Then a helicopter started flying around making all sorts of noise. A very wild walk indeed.

Mattie: Ah! The sitter set off the alarm and it made so much noise! A nice calming walk was what I needed. And what do you know the sun came out and made for a beautiful walk.

Molly: I had so much fun with the sitter tonight. The rain was gone and I went outside and played. The sitter gave me some treats because I knew so many tricks!

Eddie: The sitter was over bright an early in the morning, she knew I had been sleeping down the hall but I was rubbing the sleeps out of my eyes by the time she opened the door. When she came back in the evening we played chase in the kitchen until I layed down and chewed on my bones.

May 21, 2009

Charlie: The sitter came over this morning and it was already raining...yucky! We went out to potty and take a short walk but I didn't want to stay out there for very long. We managed not to get TOO wet and dried off pretty easily. Then it was time for breakfast! For the afternoon, it was time for another walk. Well, as much of a walk as we can handle in this downpour. The sitter has an umbrella so that's not really fair. The sitter took me for a walk this evening because it actually was only drizzling but once we got out there pretty far, it started to pour. The sitter and I got super SOAKED. Oh well, it was fun running home in the rain. I'll just dry off and eat some dinner then fall asleep!

Bailey: The sitter came over and told us right away that he had to walk us separate today. Aw! we really hate that. How does he choose who gets to go first without making the other one feel bad? It never works. Whoever goes second always ends up giving the sitter that look. The sitter let me go first this afternoon to make up for making me go last earlier. It was STILL raining! I guess it just doesn't want to stop for a while. I'll just expect rain for the next week or so...how does that work?

Lexus: Luckily for me, i got to go first this morning! This rain is really inconvenient for everyone lately. It's also pretty hard for the sitter to walk me, hold and umbrella, and pick up my poop at the same time...actually, it's kind of funny! Right when the sitter and I were headed out the door, my daddy came home from work! I got excited to see him but also excited that i was on my walk...which one should take priority? Hmm.... decisions....

Mercedes: I didn't want to stay out there for too long today. The sitter took me out and we went for a bit but as soon as I went potty, I turned straight for home! I don't want to get my pretty cot all nasty and rain water-y! When we got back inside, the sitter gave me a treat and played with for a bit to make up for the short walk.

Patton: The sitter came over and woke me up from a nap. this rain is really soothing. Except for when you have to go out in it! We took a short walk around the block and i wanted to stay out there for long enough to do my business but not any longer than I needed to. I got to wrestle with a towel again and then the sitter gave me a treat after playing with my squeaky sausages!

Cooper: Where do i start? The sitter had to jog us separately today because of the downpour. He strapped on my awesome raincoat and then got his umbrella ready. We hit the road and toughed it out through all the yuckiness. Once you get used to it, it's really not that bad!

Raven: When it was my turn, I was ready to go. I got on my raincoat and was pumped to get going! While we were out there, I saw this Heron that kept taunting me! The nerve of that guy! I gave him a few what-for's to let him know what was up and he eventually left me alone.

Tank: The sitter arrived and gave me some good petting after he announced to me that I'm definitely the BIGGEST english bulldog he's ever seen! Thank you, I know! He tried to get me to go outside instead of walking cause it was raining and I was a little reluctant but made it out there eventually. I didn't even have to potty, though! After that he gave me my pills and got my dinner ready. I hoovered it down and then got some more back scratches from the sitter.

Gus: The sitter came over and all 3 of us beware braking up a storm while he was coming in. It was still rainy out there, if you'd believe it. Not too bad at the moment he got here, though. So he let us out back right away before the rain got worse again. It fluctuated all day.

Jesse: I had to go potty really bad but Gus just kind of stood there! Jack was utilizing the outdoor time nicely too. After we got that out of our system, we came in where it was dry and the sitter started getting our dinners ready. Gus and i were eager to eat.

Jack: I was too focused on playing to eat my dinner. The sitter started playing with me. He would toss my duck around and I'd furiously chase after it! I did that for a while but the sitter noticed, when we were distracted, that Gun started eating my dinner! I said "HEY!" but he didn't stop! He tried to eat every last bit of it, too but the sitter stopped him and refilled what Gus had stolen from me!

Mattie: It was very stormy and wet outside not so fun to walk through but the sitter and I made it fun. When we came back I dried off and we cuddled on the couch.

Lei: Earlier today there was a storm. I was still jittery when the sitter got here, but once I got outside and saw the storm was over, everything was alright and I enjoyed my walk.

Lily: Sams and the sitter don't get it. They are just prancing around and jumping over the puddles. You are supposed to run through them and jump around splashing everything.

Sams: Lily and I were very excited to see the sitter this evening. Dinner and a walk is a tradition! A very delicious tradition.

Molly: Who is this strange man in my house? Well the cats seem to like him, but he fed them and cleaned their litter boxes. Oooo what's this? Dinner for me? Well you are definitely on your way to my good side.

Wingaling! The sitter took me on a beautiful walk through the park and then we came back just before ti started raining again. Then I filled my belly. Mmm mmm.

May 20, 2009

Chloe: It was fun staying at the doggie place today! I got all tired out and had to pee really bad when I got outside! Now I am going home to have a yummy dinner and hang out with my sitter. We are going to be lazy because of all the rain! Sitters don't like to get wet for some reason!

Riley: I showed the sitter that I was ready to go out by sitting by the door and being really still so she could put the leash on. I can't wait for the sun to come back out!

Atticus: I kept barking and barking until I got to go outside. We were so excited to eat and get a treat after wards.

Snowflake: So much better out there! We saw a weird looking bird with long legs and neck just walking in front of us on our path. Then we saw a turtle laying next to the neighbor dog...I don't think the dog knew that there was a turtle beside him.

Yogi: I did a lot of jumping in the bushes but the sitter wanted me to do more walking. It was so windy out there and kinda chilly on the water.

Lexus: The sitter came over and got us all excited! We were good, though and didn't jump on him or anything...we were just spinning around in circles and making those antsy steps everywhere! We eventually got hooked up to our leashes and off we went! It was (finally) a nice day for a walk and the sun was shining and it wasn't too hot. Our dad was home for our 2nd walk and this was the first time the sitter ever came over when we weren't in our crates so we didn't know what to do! We were so excited to see him that we started to jump up and wouldn't sit still to get our leashes put on..I guess it was kind of counter-productive, wasn't it?

Bailey: We took a nice long walk because the weather was so nice. And after a couple minutes, neither me nor Lexus was pulling the sitter around. We were both trying our hardest to be very well behaved this morning! Did it work? i think it did cause the sitter gave us a treat when we got back inside! Eventually, we got those leashes on and off we went. We were still pretty worked up so Lexus kept pouncing on me and chewing on my leash... So the sitter had to hold us separately for a minute... but we calmed down after a few minutes. hey! can you blame us? there was lots of excitement happening!

Patton: I was taking a nice nap when the sitter came over. it was one of those rare times where he had to call my name out when he walked in to let me know he was here. I got real excited real quick! We got out on our walk and had a great one. First time in a while that we got to go out without heavy wind or rain. It was nice! we even got some sunshine!

Charlie: The sitter came over and my dad was still home but I definitely needed a walk! First and foremost, the sitter complimented me on my new haircut. "It's good for the summer," I said. We had a nice, lengthy walk and i got all my business taken care of. When we were on our way back, we noticed a bunch of papers swirling around. Turns out, the sitter left his notebook on top of his car and it was pretty windy today. He had a fun time picking all that up! Silly sitter...

Cooper: What's this? A day with no rain? Imagine that! Oh, hello Mr. Sitter! We were pretty hopped up about seeing the sitter, like usual. It's always fun when he comes over cause we get to go outside and eat snacks and get good head scratches. We took a nice long jog today to celebrate the good weather.

Raven: Yeah, even at a point where I'd normally get tired, I was still going strong today in celebration of the nice weather. We already had our snack before the sitter got here so we just got to come in and take a big gulp of water and take a nap.

Tank: When the sitter came over, I was right near the gate in the sun room waiting for him to let me out. When he did, i gave him some hello hugs and he slapped my belly a bit (us bulldogs like the slap over the pat...little known fact) and then got my leash hooked up to my harness. Off we went on a nice walk. the sitter pretty much let me dictate where we went because I would be stubborn otherwise! It works like a charm!

Sam: We were so excited to see the sitter that we almost pushed him right out the door when he tried to come inside! Whoops! He gave us breakfast anyway!

Lily: I got yelled at by some other dog tonight but the sitter made sure I was kept safe. He always does that. I love getting yelled at outside because I always get more cuddles!

Mattie: I was being my cute little self walkin around outside today. I went number 1 but no number 2. I just didn't need to! Whoo!

May 19, 2009

Chloe: Oh boy, oh boy! I am having a sleep over with my new sitter! We watched tv and ran around in the yard. I can't wait to wake her up in the morning really early and go out and play some more! This is so much fun!

Yogi: Woohoo! It's time to go to the park! When we got there I raced the sitter to the end of the pier and he could barely keep up when I got my bursts of lightning speed! I had a big smile on my face the whole time and when we got to the end of the pier I gave the sitter some kisses then looked around off the pier at all the birds! Then we ran back and forth and back again! I've got so much energy! Let's run back to the house now! I think I deserve a treat!

Lei: The sitter woke me from a deep sleep this morning. Once I came to we took a nice stroll to the park. Followed by a delicious and satisfying breakfast. Took my medicine too.

Tank: I have to admit my butt did not want to leave the ground. But I am glad it did because I had a lot of fun on my walk with the sitter. I also got a few treats because I was so well behaved. It was so nice outside a little chilly but sunny! Then a storm came and I became nervous. It didn't get too bad and I kept walking.

Sams: Boo! Go away gray day. The weather was gross during our evening walk. Drizzle and puddles. Atleast I had a nice dinner in my belly. Makes me feel so good!

Lily: I love playing in the puddles and jumping through the grass. And digging through the leaves for a secret snack. Nothing today sadly except for dirt.

Mercedes: When the sitter came over, I was really hyper and started to run around the living room before hopping up on the back of the couch! We got ready to go on our walk but were ready for some rain to cancel it. Fortunately, it didn't rain very much during our walk and we got to go our usual distance. Aren't you tired of this weather?

Paton: I was super excited to see the sitter today! I gave him some hugs and he gave me some back and then got me ready on my leash and harness. Sadly, it was raining a bit so our walk got cut just a little bit short but we still got to go on a medium length one. When we got back inside we just played with my toys for a little bit and then the sitter gave me a treat!

Raven: when the sitter came over, me and Cooper were going nuts! But as soon as he said we were ready to go out on our jog, I left and went into the kitchen. It's cause I knew it was gloomy out there and didn't want to be out in weather like that. The sitter eventually got me to come outside and it ended up not being so bad

Cooper: It wasn't raining or anything so i don't see what the big deal is. It was just cloudy and not sunny and windy and even a little chilly! We had a good jog regardless and came back in for our delicious snack!

Atticus: I kept finding chicken bones on the ground, why would someone leave them there? She wouldn't let me have them at all.

Riley: We are used to seeing the sitter come over now. We only bark when she gets here to say that we have to potty! I always make sure she takes me first!

Snowflake: Its still wet out there but atleast its not raining so I can walk better out there. I wasn't wanting to get off my chair because I could see how wet it was outside and I knew I wouldnt want to go out in it! She bribed me with my treat so I would get up.

Daisy: It was just a little drizzly out there. I pottied really quickly and almost forgot to get my treat. I miss the sun!

May 18, 2009

Max: I couldn't decide if I wanted to eat first or flop all over the sitters feet...a very tough decision! It kept on raining and raining! I wanted to stay on the porch unless I needed to potty.

Shadow: I got to have the sitter to myself for a minute while Max pottied. Then he saw me getting petted and ran over to push me away. Then I decided to play with my toy and he took it from me! I can't wait for him to get out of the puppy phase.

Yogi: Oh boy! I was scared of that umbrella the sitter had! Then I kept closing my eyes because of the rain...I can't wait for sunshine!

Daisy: I ran right outside and did what I needed to do! The rain sure speeds things along for me! I didn't even wait for a treat...needed to go upstairs and let myself dry.

Atticus: I barked a whole lot but the sitter showed us the treats and we got all excited! I got to go first since we can't go together. I saw a kitty that I wanted to get...but then I was kinda scared of it!

Riley: I saw the kitty too but I kept away from it, they looked kinda scarey! It was like walking in a swamp out there...lots of water to go around.

Tank: It was such a yucky rainy day all day but we still had fun! The sitter got me to go on some walks with the assistance of some treats and I did my business quick because it was so yucky! I basically destroyed all my meals in no time!

Dignan: I'm a crazy! I knocked over Harley's breakfast because I wanted to eat it so bad, then I realized I had my own! Oooops!

Harley: Dignan knocked over my breakfast! That's okay though, the sitter made sure I got some extra cuddles!

Jackson: The pugs didn't like to be outside because it was raining but I didn't mind it at all. I kind of liked it!

Joey: I gave the sitter a little growls and a lot of barks but I was just a little worried. I wasn't so worried on the walk though! I loved it!

Lucy: I was so excited to go on the walk, it took five minutes just to get my collar on! We came back in for some fresh water, not that we needed it with all this rain!

Winston: I got rain on my face on the walk and I did a cute little manuever with my hands to get it off while walking. The sitter was impressed!

Patton: I was excited to see the sitter and I didn't jump at all!...Well, maybe I jumped a little bit but I sat right after! A little rain don't bother me none, especially when it gets me extra cuddes when I get back inside!

Cooper: The rain kept getting on my ears and I had to shake it off! I was excited to get back inside because dad was getting our snack ready! WHOO!

Raven: I barked quite a bit at a trailer that went by. I was just saying "hey, what's up?" but it didn't com off that way!

Lei: I was a little shy but liked the sitter. We went on a walk this afternoon and some people couldn't stop watching me and smiling cuz I'm so cute. I can't blame 'em! I didn't want to eat my dinner with the sitter there so I'll eat a little later!

Riley: I warmed up real quick to the sitter. He said I have the cutest little face and gave me all the cuddles because Atticus kept yelling!

Atticus: I wasn't yelling! Just interrogating him a bit. He seemed alright in the end. Hey, He brought us out and fed us dinner, how bad can he be?

May 17, 2009

Jackson: Hello again, Mr. sitter! it's good to see you this morning! Sundays are nice, I was just kind of lazing about. i got a little excited when the sitter arrived but the fact that it was Sunday prevent me from getting TOO excited, you know?

Dignan: Too excited? Hah, forget that! I'm going to go nuts as soon as the sitter lets me out of this crate! And GO! Vrooooom! I darted all the way through the hallway and living room to the back door! I had to potty something fierce!

Harley: Same here, i was super excited to see the sitter and go potty all at once. Like I said yesterday, it's a hard decision. After we got some of our willies out in the yard, the sitter brought us in and gave us breakfast!

Sally: The sitter only saw me for a little bit. I was too busy ether being shy or adventuring out n the yard o say hello to the sitter. Well, i said hello but I didn't give him a formal greeting. It's ok, he said. Adventuring is always more pressing that saying hello to a stranger.

Sassy: I was just haging ou inside waiting for some canned food! Once the sitter put it down, he got me all distracted and gave me my medicine. tricky but not a big deal cause I was chowing away on me delicious food!

Jessi: The sitter was petting me a bit too when i was eating. I didn't really want to be pet that much when I eat...most cat's don't but the sitter already knew that! But he did it anyways. I guess that's ok. I appreciate the attention.

Sophia: The sitter came over and let us out of our crates. It was a really nice day outside...we could tell even by being inside so as soon as we got out of those crates, we ran over to the back door. After going potty, we ran over to the sitter, who was sitting on the deck, and got lots of attention from him!

Giovanni: After getting some cuddles and attention from the sitter, i decided it would be fun to chase Sophia around the yard a litle bit! that was fun, I was right! After we had played anough in the yard, the sitter brought us back in and gave us some Scooby Snacks for being so much fun!

Shadow: Max and I had a shouting match with the dogs across the lake this morning. We totally won Plus we had the sitter on our side which made us look supreme. Time for a victory breakfast. We got to walk just before the storm rolled in today! We walked around the ponds and I yelled at some birds and we saw some turtles and then it started sprinkling and we had to run back to the house! Luckily we made it before it really started to pour!

Max: Watch me do a silly dance! I had my belly rubbed so much this morning I peed all over the ground. It felt so good and then I did a dance. It's playtime! When the sitter came by tonight I was very energetic! I ran back and forth in the yard and played with my toys and then asked for treats and belly rubs, and the sitter was nice enough to give me both!

Phoebe: It's really wet out! I think we learned how to swim on our walk today! We were so happy to see the sitter and happy to see dinner too! Yum! I rolled over for bellyrubs while Stella slowly finished her food!

Stella: I wasn't too hungry today, I just wanted to play outside! It's a beautiful day for it!

Lily: Breakfast! Max and I got the munchies last night and ate all of our dry food, but none of the wet food. The sitter refilled it for us. Hurray!

Max the Kitty: I saw the sitter appear out of this air this morning. It freaked me out and I made myself disappear into thin air.

Buddy: The sitter got here and first thing I wanted to go out to the backyard. Peekaboo and I played while the sitter made breakfast. Then we went on a wonderful walk.

Peekaboo: Today on our walk with the sitter we watched while a fireman undid hydrants. Water sprayed all over the street and made a river. It made me have to go potty.

May 16, 2009

Jackson: Hello, good morning Mr. Sitter! I know you now so I'm not going to bark this time. I'll just sit here and wag my tail until you pet me! You do need to let me out, though because I have to go potty. I seem to drink a lot of water! I wanted lots of attention from the sitter tonight. I followed him around everywhere and always put my head within reach of his petting hand! Even when he was getting my dinner, ready, I was right up on him. Sometimes all the attention just makes you feel good, you know?

Dignan: You need to let us out of this crate! We're far too excited to stay in here for too long. Ok! now that we're out...what's more important? Greeting the sitter or going potty? mmmmmm...I vote going potty! Ok ok ok, time for some dinner, yes? Good cause i was getting pretty hungry. Besides, I have to keep working on my food stealing technique. Harley just kind of lets me do it but the sitter wont...how can I distract him enough to sneak a mouthful of someone else's food....

Harley: Once we got all that out of our system, then we were able to say hello to the sitter properly. After he felt like he'd been welcomed properly, he gave us breakfast! Yeah! that's the best part of the morning! Sometimes, I just let Dignan steal my food like that because I know he'll whine and stuff if he can't get anymore. Remember, i said he's like a little piglet when it comes to food...bst to just let him do his thing sometimes!

Raven: we were super excited to see the sitter this morning. we gave him lots of hugs. Mommy was home today so she tried to keep us from hugging the sitter so much but when she wasn't looking, we did it anyways! I like the Saturday morning runs because it's cooler outside than it is in the afternoon and Saturday morning always seem more peaceful!

Cooper: Peaceful, whatever! All I care about is that it isn't as hot! we got to really work it today, even the sitter was pretty tired by the end of our run! We even got a pretty good break in the middle because Raven had to poop but couldn't decide where to do it. Just do it like me: anywhere you feel like it!

Lucy: The sitter came over and I was right in my spot in the kitchen waiting for him! Once we all calmed down a little bit, I charged my way out the kitchen cause I was ready to go on my walk! I was super ready but, what's this?... The sitter said he's taking Winston alone first? awww...ok, i guess so!

Winston: The sitter said he has to take me by myself cause I'm the craziest one of the 3 of us. Not that I'm super crazy but he said walking me is about the same as walking the two of them, haha. I know it. That being said, i was very well behaved on my walk, I just get excited every now and then. But it's excusable because I'm a puppy!

Joey: Me and Lucy had a pretty good walk. During ours, I saw a kitty on the street and let loose a few mean sounding barks towards it. That set Lucy off too so she joined in. We must have scared the daylights out of that kitty! haha. After mine and Lucy's walk in the evening, the sitter got our food ready. First he hooked Winston up to the leash and then he put our food down for us. Winston was way too excited that he was going on a walk so he didn't even care that we were getting fed before him!

Max: I was in the living room when the sitter came in but right when he opened the door, I was like "oop! what's that noise?" and darted out of the room. Then I peeked my head out to see who it was. Oh, ok, it's just the sitter. No big dea! Cat's are usually always on alert, you know?

Lily: The sitter couldn't find me for a while. that's cause i was under the bed taking a nap and didn't feel like coming out until right when the sitter was going to leave. I figured I'd better let him at least see me so he'd know I was ok. Thanks for the food and all that, Mr. Sitter!

Buddy: When the sitter came over, I was the first one to see him. We were all a tad nervous at first cause we've never met this one before but we warmed up to him real quickly. Once he let us outside and gave us each some good behind-the-ear scratches!

Shy: Speak for yourself about being nervous! Haha! I went right up to that
sitter. I'm not afraid. The sitter even told me that he doesn't know why they call me Shy cause I was anything but!

Peekaboo: It wasn't until we were already outside for a few minutes that I opened up to the sitter. But he's a really nice guy so it was all good. He sat down with Buddy and I and gave us some good scratches!

Lila: At first, i was totally nervous about the sitter but he crouched down and stuck out his hand for me to com investigate. When I was busy investigating his hand, he tricked me and started scratching my back! It startled me at first but felt really good so I was stuck in his trap!

Buster: I could hear someone getting out of their car all the way down on the street so I started to howl even before I knew it was the sitter. But, really, I'm half psychic so I KNEW it was the sitter! We had ourselves a really great evening walk. we went all over the complex and it was nice and not too hot or anything. the sun was just starting to go down so it was nice and peaceful!

Max: Shadow and I were lounging out on the driveway when the sitter pulled up. As soon as he stepped out of the car, I hopped up and darted over to him! He was trying to get me to not jump up so much but, come on...how are you going to say no to a super cute (and super HUGE) puppy? That's right, you can't!

Shadow: The sitter played with us for a little bit out in the yard but neither of us had too much energy. Laying out in he sun all day really takes it out of you. That sounds kind of backwards but you know it's true! So after a little bit of play, Max and I were ready for some dinner.

May 15, 2009

Patton: When the sitter came over, I was super excited like usual. I gave him my regular hugs and did my jump up and down thing and then walked straight over to my leash. By now, the sitter obviously knows what my favorite thing is! We took a nice walk around the neighborhood. There wasn't much going on but sometimes that's the best.

Jackson: Hey! who is this person in my house? I'm going to wag my tail but still bark alot at him cause I don't trust him...who are you, Mr.? Ok, the sitter came back which is good cause I had to potty again. When we went ouside, I must have peed for about a minute straight...literally. I know, pretty crazy!

Dignan: Oh man oh man oh man oh man let us out! let us out! We're so excited for this new person to be here...wait a second. We've met this guy before! it was a while ago but I remember. You didn't think I would, did you? When the sitter came over, I was all about giving him some hugs! He's a lot bigger than me so i can really only hug his leg but it's still effective, right? We got to do my favorite part tonight, which is dinner! When the sitter was getting it reay, Ikept telling him to hurry up! I was starving!

Harley: Ok, this reunion is fun and everything but we all have to go potty, you know! The sitter et us out and we all did our business and then we all had much better hellos. That Dignan is kind of a bully when food is involved. Just because i wasn't eating mine for half a second doesn't mean I don't want it! geez...what a pig! You know, with all those noises he makes when he eats it's practically fitting! (ok, so maybe I'm guilty of those noises too!

-Giovanni: Drat! It's raining outside, how uncomfortable. I came back in very damp and slightly blue. The sitter gave me a treat for being a good boy and going out and my blue turned into a much brighter hue.

Sophia: We had to play inside with the sitter today because it was raining really hard. But we both went outside and pottied and behaved so well. We each got treats!

Cooper: Hurray! I love running in the rain! Especially with my very fashionable and flashy raincoat. Too bad the sitter didn't have one. He got soaked.

Raven: Rain, rain, rain, oh what a pain. I'm going to get all wet, but that's what I get, for running in the rain. Might as well make some poetry out of this gloomy day.

Buddy: The sitter came and we took a stroll. Peekaboo came too and got to decide which way we went. While we were out a cop pulled someone over in front of the house! So exciting.

Peekaboo: I decided to go out and get a breath of fresh air with Buddy. It was very pleasant as the sun was setting. Buddy and I got to play out back when we got home.

Max the Kitty: I watched Lily and the sitter have a conversation. I don't need all that small talk. Just some fresh water and my dinner, let's go sitter!

Lily: The sitter and I played chase the hand around on the chair. It was fun until I accidentally bit a little too hard. I apologized and he didn't mind.

Shadow: Max and I killed a tiny bird today when the sitter was here. He didn't let us eat it and went and buried it so we couldn't find it. What a shame. I bet it was really tasty.

Max: I got to play with the sitter in the backyard tonight! We had a wild good time rolling around and chasing each other. I tried to eat the sitter's arm but he said he needed it. Oops.

May 14, 2009

Mercedes: When the sitter showed up, I did my usual excited dance and ran up the back of the furniture and everything. We got outside pretty quickly cause it was sprinkling and the sitter didn't want us to get caught in the rain. What is it with this weather lately? It keeps acting like it's going to rain but it's all just yucky cloudiness. if it's going to look like this all day, it might as well be for a reason!

Patton: The sitter came over and I was right at the door looking at him through the window! He came in and I gave him a big hug and then ran over to my leash cause I was ready to get out there and explore. Off we went and boy was it murky out there. No sunshine and even some raindrops. Yucky, that's not what makes walks fun!

Cooper: We were so crazy excited to see the sitter today. Even Raven was getting antsy and he's usually pretty reserved. I tried to get the sitter's whole arm in my mouth but it doesn't work very well. Oh well. Off we went on our walk and, it was a pretty good one. The sprinkly rain stopped long enough for us to have a really nice jog.

Raven: There really was nothing exciting about our jog today. It was nice and everything but no excitement! We need some adventure and some craziness. Oh, ok I thought of one... When we were almost back home, the neighbor came out with his dog and both me and Coop went crazy. THAT was pretty exciting!

Lily: The sitter walked in and both me and Max were right there. I darted away so I could watch the sitter from afar. He said hello and went into the kitchen so get us some more food and fresh water. It looks like we had tipped over our bowl and made a bit of a mess. No problem, though. the sitter said it's easy enough to clean up. Once he put out a can of food, I couldn't stay hidden anymore!

Max: I was friendly right away and started to rub up against the sitter as soon as he came in. he bent down to pet me and I started growling and hissing at him. That's when he said he remembered ow we're both friendly kitties but only like to be touched when we're good and ready! He said that was fine and talked to us the whole time...just no petting!

Daisey:That hot sun can sure wear a little dog like me out real quick. So the sitter took me to the shaded park and we had a nice cool walk.

Harmon: Hurray the sitter is here! Now I get to go outside. There appears to be storm clouds on the horizon but I hope they just pass.

Sophie: When the sitter got here I immediately took a liking to him. Giovanni and I went out the backyard and played with the sitter. We listened to his commands and he gave us each some doggy num-nums. We had so much fun.

Giovanni: The sitter and I became friends real fast. I could tell he had a good personality. he scratched my back and it felt so good what could be so wrong with that?

Yogi: I hid all of my plastic bowls somewhere special and the sitter couldn't find them so he put a glass one down. I had a lot of trouble trying to pick it up and hide it, guess the sitter got me.

Tank: This belly isn't just for admiring Mr. Sitter. Scratch it! There is plenty of belly there so make sure you use both hands. Yeah that feels great!

Lulu: It was slightly raining when the sitter took Tank and I outside. But then it turned into a monsoon and all three of us ran for cover!

May 13, 2009

Yogi: I was so very excited! I ran around the house attacking the kitties...they don't like to play too much! A little drizzly out there..yuck!

Sophia: I was happy to run out my crate and go outside. I went alone at first because Giovanni was scared! What is there to be scared of?

Giovanni: I got out my crate and shook but at the same time was licking the sitter in the face. She carried me to the back door and I went right out. After that I was all friendly and running around with my sister.

Patton: Wow. Today was a much nicer day than yesterday! I was waiting right at the door for the sitter and when he came in, we gave our usual hugs and then got out on that walk right away! He knows I don't like to waste any time. It was another one of those days where nobody else was out so we had a nice pleasant walk. When we got back it was time for a drink and a treat from the sitter!

Cooper: We were both right at the door being anxious about the sitters arrival. When he got in, sure enough, I had one of my toys and I wanted to show him. He humored me for a second (thanks) and then got us ready to go out on our jog. I always never want to put my leader on right away but I get it eventually!

Raven: We had a pretty good walk. get this, though...Cooper didn't poop! I don't know if that's ever happened. Oh well, sometimes i guess you don't have to! We were moving so fast that we passed a couple that was walking TWICE! Once when we were moing away from the house and another time when we were on the way back!

Wolf: When the sitter pulled up to the driveway, we were all in the backyard and gave him a huge barking welcome. After he came in, I kept delivering these little howls to let him know that i was there. Even when he was petting me, I just though it was a "good measure" thing to do, you know?

Pork Chop: We all crowded around the sitter (more so me and biscuit) when he came in and gave him a good welcome. He let us outside and wanted to run around with us for a bit but we had to calm down a little bit after his arrival. Al we wanted to do was get attention from him which didn't bother him at all, he says.

Biscuit: After some running and petting time, the sitter knew what we were waiting for! He got our food ready and we lined up like good boys and waited for the sitter to put our bowl in front of us. We do the same with treats. When the sitter says "sit" all 3 of us sit exactly at the same time! he loves it!

Mattie: Whooo! The sitter really got me going today! He would pretend to run and I would sprint way ahead of him and turn around and wag my tail. It got me sooo tired! I was panting like crazy, plus it was hot out! We came back in for some water and a nap!

Yogi: So the sitter came in and I went craaazy! I was running around like a nut bar! Pooped myself right out, literally! As soon as we got to the gate I did my business! We went on the walk anyway, but it was yucky and rainy out so I was happy to get back inside for some dinner!

May 12, 2009

Snowflake: I looked so tired when the sitter arrived. Took me a minute to get moving. I sniffed and I sniffed. Did my U turn to go back in. I was thinking about my usual treat.

Daisy: I was so very excited when the sitter was here. The drizzling rain made me go potty really quickly. I didn't want to stay in it very long at all.

Max: She gave us extra water just incase. It was kinda chilly outside...atleast we don't have to hide in the shade all day.

Shadow: Where did the heat go? With this fur coat on its good to be a little chilly. I am not sure about the light rain though.

Tess: The sitter and I had a great walk to the park this morning. The air was cool and dry and there were many squirrels about. The sitter gave me treats and they were delicious.

Yogi: I went on a walk with the sitter. I was just sniffing the flowers and grass when it started to rain. It wasn't too nice so we came back and played indoors.

Mattie: It was slightly drizzling outside during my afternoon walk with the sitter. It didn't get too wet though and when I got back I ran in circles chasing my tail to make the sitter laugh.

Tank: I was in such a stubborn mood today and wouldn't go anywhere. All I wanted to do was sleep all day. The sitter walked me as far as he could then we came back and I went back to sleep.

Stella: Chevy and I walked the park with the sitter. Chevy just gobbled his lunch up, but I wasn't really hungry. I took a few nibbles and left the rest for later. I'd rather be outside playing.

Chevy: I love the park. Lot's of people and dogs to meet. Today was a beautiful day too, but there weren't many people out at all. More park for us I guess.

Yogi: It was very breezy outside and all I could smell was the different flowers in the wind. The sitter and I had a nice walk in the cool evening air.

Mercedes: When the sitter came over today, i was super excited as usual. It looked like it could rain any second so we didn't waste any time getting out on our walk. It was sprinkling the whole time which isn't ideal but at least it wasn't raining hard, right? We mixed it up a bit and went around the block in the opposite direction...adventurous, I know!

Patton: What a yucky day outside today! And it started off a little weird too. I was sleeping and the sitter came in and the noises didn't wake me up right away. When i finally saw the sitter, I went into guard dog mode for just a second and barked and growled...but that didn't last long at all because i quickly saw that it was my good buddy, the sitter! We went on a pretty nice walk, despite the light rain. When we got back inside, the sitter gave me some water and a treat!

Cooper: When the sitter came over, i was so excited! I grabbed his hand and tried to lead him all over and show him my toys. he's been over here countless times and I know he knows what all my toys look like but I can't resist showing him. They're just so cool and I get so excited that i want him to play with me and my toys!

Raven: Well, it stopped raining (even sprinkling) for our walk which was really nice. Since it was overcast and windy and stuff, the weather wasn't at all too hot today! So we got to take an extra long jog because we didn't get all hot and exhausted too early today. Makes me kind of miss the 70 something weather. It's too hot now!

May 11, 2009

Yogi: My mom was still home when the sitter arrived. I knew she was leaving so I kept wanting to go back to the house to see if she had left yet. When I did go back she did leave and I laid in front her door for a while. Then I decided to run around and be my silly self.

Gizmo and Gadget: The thunder was bad! So glad it is all over now! Its good to be inside kitties so we can be nice and safe...and dry!

Daisy: I was so excited but as always I decided to not be so excited once I was done with outside. I did have some bacon which was so yummy!

Snowflake: I sniffed around the trees a lot. I marked a lot but the sitter saw nothing on the ground. I just like to mark even though I am a girl!! haha

Max: I stayed in the shade mostly and decided to eat some while the sitter was here. I tried jumping a little but not as bad as I usually am with it.

Shadow: I ran in the house when she got here. I had been in the shade and just laid there and didn't greet her like I usually do. It was just me being lazy.

Tess: I couldn't resist every chance to chase a bird or squirrel today on our walk. There were so many just sitting in my way. They look so tarty.

Oreo: The sitter came by to check on me and everything was A OK. I got my fresh water refilled as well as my litter cleaned I still had quite a bit of food.

Rex: Baccus and I knew the sitter was outside as soon as he arrived. After some playtime he cleaned our litter and served our litter and served some wet delicacy. Mmm mmm.

Bacchus: I got to cuddle with the sitter. I rolled around in his lap and begged for belly scratches. I swatted at his hand and played with it.

Mercedes: The sitters and I a great walk today. It sure is starting to get hot outside. I made sure to hydrate up when I got back inside.

Patton: It felt so good to get outside in the sun walking all over the neighborhood. But boy did it exhaust me. I need a nice big gulp of water then it's nap time.

Raven: What a run! Both Cooper and I are wiped out. Cooper is already spready out on the floor taking a nap. I'll be joining him soon the sitter ran us hard today.

Cooper: We have a new enemy. It's not a truck or a horse. Much smaller. We have to prepare for the toad invasion. They are everywhere!

Wilson: A hot quiet afternoon in my neighborhood. Perfect for a walk with the sitter. Once we were out in the sun all I could think about was my crate in the air conditioned house. A nice sweaty workout!

May 10, 2009 HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Solace: I'm so happy to see the sitter! I welcomed him to our home and showed him where our food is and he turned it into delicious soup! I was so good he decided to brush me for a while and I let him carry me around while I purred nonstop! -Juno
He found me! After that I gave up trying to get out of taking my medication! But it wasn't that bad! And after that I even let him brush me for a few seconds! I needed it!

Tess: I woke up as the sitter came in and was so excited to see him! We walked to the park and I saw some squirrels that I wanted to play with, but they didn't share my eagerness to play! I hollered up the tree at one and he just looked at me! Oh well, maybe it was too early!

Maggie: Somebody's here! Someone to play with! I ran around and played with the sitter and then ran around out back! I chased the sitter around a little and then he chased me around a little, and then we went inside and chased Beila around!

Caesar: Time for me to wake up! It's breakfast time! Yum! And now I'll follow the sitter around so he scratched my head!

Beila: I'm so cute and the sitter and Maggie played with me and I had so much fun! The sitter didn't want to put me down, but he had to leave eventually!

Impi: After searching for Lala a while, the sitter found me buried in the closet! I was so close to not being found! Might as well come out now and get some attention!

Mkosi: I greeted the sitter at my food bowl and he dropped a few treats in it for me! Delicious! Now I'm gonna follow the sitter around and get some attention from him!

Lala: Longest game of hide and seek ever! I should win something just because of how long it takes to find me!

Bonzai: I'm so wild! The sitter thinks I'm an awesome cat! I kept jumping up on his back and letting him walk around with me on him, then I rolled around on the ground crazily! I'm so excited! And hungry too! Let me eat some, then I'll ride around on your shoulders again!

Rex: Hello again! We've been waiting for you Mr. Sitter! I need attention! Ok, that's enough! Now go pet Bacchus for a while!

Bacchus:The sitter came back and I was so good at catching my string toy! Rex did pretty well too, but I am the champion when it comes to catching strings!

Hannah: As soon as the sitter opened the door my head popped out! I was super excited to see the sitter and go for a walk! He even ran me some, and we went to two different parks! And when we got back I was so thirsty! I chugged a bunch of water then plopped down on the floor for belly rubs!

Beggar: More quality time with the sitter! Yay! After taking care of my food and litter and giving me my medicine, the sitter sat with me and pet me for a while! My purr motor didn't stop the whole time! I'm such a friendly cat! And low maintenance! All I need is food, water and some backscratching!

Sophie: I love my morning walks, today the sitter let me lead the way where ever I wanted to go, which was nose to the ground zigzagging back n forth until I went potty. We came back inside for breakfast I chased Oliver back upstairs and then enjoyed some good cuddles and play time. The sitter came back through out the day also to take care of me, I am just a little puppy so I go out a lot.

Oliver: What is that? It's not a cat, she does not meow only growls at me. I know what a growl is and I'm not going to play with her. Just sit on top of the couch and watch from a safe distance. The sitter always makes time for me tho, that is before Sophie does chase me back up stairs.

Spike: I was really excited to see the sitter today. I got right up and ran to his side so I could get my back scratched. It was nice! Now its breakfast time!

Ultra: I don't bark at the sitter anymore but I do watch to make sure he's doing everything right... Everything looks A-Okay. Oh a treat too?! Thank you!

Hannah: I'm feeling much better this morning! The sitter and I went for a walk so I could do some exploring. I found a bird, and a squirrel. They didn't want to play!

Kaiser: I had a great big smile when I went outside. I did my business then grabbed a spot in the shade for a bit. The sitter had to pull out a treat to get me back inside where he had breakfast waiting for me!

Lucy: I reeeally just wanna get on the porch. Pleeeease! Oh string, lets play!

Sophie: The sitter turned the corner and started to giggle at me so I barked at him. We went out right away so I could do my business then came in to play. I love to wrestle! The sitter gave me a treat when I went back in my kennel but I still wasn't happy.

Oliver: Sophie tried to play with me but I didn't want to. I told her so but she didn't listen. The sitter had to come pull her away before it got ugly!

Sophia: The sitter says we are two cool dogs! I warmed up pretty much right away and Giovanni followed me outside to do our business. We came back in to play!

Giovanni: It wasn't until play time that I started to trust the sitter but he turned out to be an alright guy. Hey, he gave us fresh water and scooby snacks!

Gizmo: I was king of the world today, climbing all over the counters and what not. I just wanted some cuddles and it's so easy to bug the sitter when I'm at his height!

Gadget: I was ready for the sitter right at the door. Almost too ready but the sitter is so quick, made sure I didn't run out! He gave me some cuddles and said it's nice inside and hot and yucky outside. So I stayed inside!

May 9, 2009

Solace: I was very grumpy today because the sitter woke me up with my shot. He gave me no warning at all. I chomped one of his fingers. Maybe next time he'll think twice about waking me up.

Tess: This morning I roamed around with the sitter inspecting the local flora. If it were up to queen Tess there would be more flowers on every street. This place could smell even better!

Caesar: I woke up just when the sitter arrived. Maggie and I went outside to do a little business and then we had breakfast. We played for a bit but I wasn't as playful as Maggie and Beila.

Lala: I watched the sitter look all over for me. Impi had taken my closet spot so I hid in my tower. The sitter found me but I didn't want his grubby hands on my beautiful coat so I warned him to stay away.

Sophie: Bright and early the sitter was here to take me for a morning walk, and breakfast time. I always try to get Oliver's food first but the sitter always closes the door in my face. Yay! another sitter is here! Now I get all that attention I deserve. Hope he doesn't mind me growing on his arms and legs. I can't help it. I'm a growing puppy and I need stimulation!

Beggar: Got my medicine down the hatch no problem and a nice delicious meal sitting in front of me. What more could I want? Oh some of that hairball medecine off the sitter's finger. Time to go use my clean litter box.

Tank: This heat! I can't take it. Somehow the sitter coersed me into walking a few blocks, but I couldn't go any farther. Lunch in my stomach and a red hot sun. I'm going to take a nap in my nice cool room.

Oliver: Sophie wants to chew on everything it seems. The sitter's hands and shoes and his arms and me! I don't understand this fixation being of the more superior feline culture. Good thing I'm fast too!

Hannah: I wasn't feeling too good this morning: ( I made a mess in the kitchen and threw up after breakfast! I just miss my family! The sitter gave me lots of cuddles and made me feel better and then we went for a nice walk! A good healthy walk with the sitter does a dog wonders on hot days like this. As soon as I got back, I needed a big chug of water and a nice long nap.

Bonzai: Haha! Another pair of shoulders to ride on! The sitter thought I was just trying to be affectionate but I love getting a free ride around the house. I just jump off when I'm where I want to be.

Mkosi: Personally I like the sitter. Impi and Lala just don't want to have anything to do with him. More petting for me and first dibs on food? I can't really say it's a bad situation.

Maggie: The kitten and I took a nap together today. The sitter came in to give us dinner and saw us. He told me that I have to be Beila's big sister and Caesar is like our big brother. That's fine with me. I can show her the ropes.

Juno: Solace was a bit ornery to me tonight. You would think with a nice bit of wet food and a clean litter box she would be in a better mood. I guess those shots aren't any fun at all. I'm going to try to cheer her up.

Spike: I went out for a walk a little this morning but I was kind of tired and it was getting hot outside so I came back in. The sitter gave me a delicious breakfast and I ate it fast! Toads! Everywhere! When the sitter brought us outside for our walk, at the bottom of the stairs were a whole bunch of toads hopping in the grass. I licked one. It didn't taste very good.

Ultra: I was very quiet tonight. No barking at all. The night was calm and I felt peaceful. Spike and I took a walk with the sitter then I stretched out and took a nap. I love to trot. I trotted the entire walk this afternoon thank you very much. We came back for a nice treat and looots of fresh water

Lucy: I'm a talker. The sitter gave me a wonderful breakfast which I sniffed a bit but wanted to eat in private. I kept asking to go out on the porch but the sitter insisted we play with a string instead... Okay!

Cooper: It's hooot! Yuck! We had no snack today but the sitter took us on a longer run and we came back for even moooore fresh water!

Raven: I like barking at things here and there. It lets me get some energy out, but I think I'm too pooped now and it's time for a nap!

Gizmo: Cuddles please, thank you. Behind the ear, thank you. Scratch my back, thank you.

Gadget: I watched the sitter give us a lot of good food and then he dangled a string thing in front of my face. I punched it.

Sophie: A sitter came to walk and play with me today. We had so much fun together exploring the back yard. He rubbed my belly real good when I went potty and gave me some treats when I went back in my crate. Oh man, the sitter would not leave me alone! He said I was such a cuuuuuuute puppy. It's cool, I hear that all the time. We spent lots of time playing with my little puppy-sized tennis balls after we went out to potty. then we gave up on toys all together and I just started to tackle the sitter and chew on his beard! He was so excited to be playing with me that he didn't want to leave!

Oliver: Sophie! The sitter came over to play with the puppy and walk her. I watched him tell her to sit and she did a great job. Then she chased me! That wasn't so great, but at least I'm safe upstairs.

Spike: I wasn't too eager to leave the air conditioned house but once we were walking I forgot about the heat and enjoyed the outside. So many wonderful colors!

Juno: The sitter fed us tonight and cleaned out the litter boxes. Solace was being grumpy so the sitter and I played together and gave him his space. I love swatting at my toys.

Ultra: Dinner is so good. I wish I could have dinner for breakfast too. I always make such a racket barking because I want more green beans. I do have to watch my figure though.

Tess: My sitter came tonight and we went on the best walk ever! I made two poops during the walk and when we got back dinner was made so I could make some more!

Patton: I was excited about my walk today and was sitting right by the door waiting for the sitter. I didn't pick up my own leash today with impatience but i didn't have to cause the sitter got me hooked up right away! There was lots of things to see on our walk today, too. Like Cars, Builders, other dogs, Ducks, cats....lots of exciting stuff!

MJ: When the sitter came over, he let us out of our crates and we were both so excited to see him (or maybe just anyone) that we hopped up and gave him hugs. He didn't waste any time in getting our leashes ready because he knew we were ready to get out there and have some adventures.

Pathfinder: During the walk, both of us got all our business taken care of. We also had to take an extra long way around the complex because the way we came was blocked by the lawnmowers! Oh well, that just meant and even longer walk than normal. Once we got inside, the sitter gave us some ice cubes in our water dishes which really hit the spot after being out there for a while.

Bonzai: Right away, the sitter bent down to greet and pet me and I put both of my paws on his knees and popped up to nuzzle his face. He told me that I was the friendliest kitty he'd ever met...and he's met a LOT of kitties. After feeding me and taking care of my litter box, he sat with me and played a bunch. he didn't want to leave because i was so much fun!

Lala: The sitter saw me first today. I totally kept my distance but watched the sitter the whole time. He gave us some food and changed out our water which was nice. he even tossed me a couple of treats but I'm saving those for later. I'm just not super trusting of new people and the sitter said he totally understands. He'd be suspicious if a stranger came into his house too!

Mkosi: I was lounging out on the kitty playground in a sun spot by the window. Nothing beats laying in a big patch of sunlight! The sitter came over and gave me some good kitty scratching on my ears and head. He was looking all over bor Impi but no luck on his part.

Impi: I'm an excellent hider. The sitter had NO idea where I was!

Lucy: I was waiting for the sitter to let me back inside. I managed to get out of the porch area and i wanted back in! So when the sitter came over, I was waiting by the door to the porch. Once he let me in, I bolted to my food bowl and started munching away! then I said hello to the sitter! I've got priorities, you know?

Hannah: When the sitter came over, i was pretty excited. I kept walking back and forth down the hallway, wondering if we were going to do dinner or walk first! The sitter picked walk and off we went. I was showing the sitter arounbd the neighborhood and trotting along for a while. After a bit, it was time to come back inside and get that dinner!

Gizmo and Gadget: We love having our friend come over and feed us! She brought a big box in and all we wanted to do was jump and lay on it. She moved it to the counter because we started to claw it.

Snowflake: It was hot out there so I did my U turn after a while. I pottied really good quickly because I got hot really quick.

Yogi: Yay! My friend is here! She caught me drinking out the toilet. She doesn't know what she is missing! It is really good to drink!

Beggar: I took my medicine really well and I followed her around to see what she was going to do. I was just about done with my dry food when I got more, yay!

Wilson: People were looking at the house and I think they like it. It was hot out there and I didnt even pull that hard, I had to save my energy.
