January 29, 2009

Snowflake: We walked really far today, I was in a very rare mood! I apologized to the sitter for being so crabby the other day and getting my human brother to walk me instead. Old doggies just have their moments!

Cujo: I was more than happy to walk much more than usual today. We saw something really unusual, two big possums or squirrels on steroids running down the street chasing each other...it made the walk more interesting!

Toby: I am in my hiding spot and will come out when the sitter has gone so I can eat my food! Can't wait!

Buster: Oooopsy! The sitter found a notebook hiding on the floor with your notes on there, so I finally got my tasty dinner from the fridge! I loved it!

January 28, 2009

Lula - The sitter came over today and we both got so excited that we started spinning around in circles right in front of the sitter. He got our leashes and wanted to try and clip them to our leashes but since we were spinning, he had a difficult time! He got it eventually and we had a great walk outside. Then it was back inside for some more playtime.

Coco - The sitter notices that we're both pretty good at weaseling our way upstairs even with all the stuff blocking the steps. He had to try and rearrange the stuff so we couldn't get up there but, rest assured, we'll find a way!

Buster - I'm certainly a howler, aren't I? Even after the sitter got here, he hooked me up to my leash and I was howling with excitement. Even after we got OUTSIDE I was still so excited that I just kept going. I calmed down eventually and the sitter and I did some great exploring about the complex. We went all over the place and this one tiny dog even tried to intimidate me from it's porch but I paid it no mind. I love getting cuddles from the sitter. I jump up and put my head on his thigh and get some good neck scratches. I love it! The walk tonight was fun as always!

Cooper - The sitter stopped by today and I wanted to play with me yellow disc toy with him so we played for just a little bit but then he got out our yogurt snacks! We ate those up and, like always, when the sitter tried to wipe my face, I tried to get away from him. Doesn't he realize that's perfectly good flavor that he's wiping off my face? I'm just saving it for later, that's all. I know what I'm doing.

Raven - We did some running on our walk today which was really nice cause the weather was fantastic. It was nice and sunny, too! When we got back inside the sitter gave us a treat and then sat with us to give us some petting time. I like to lean up against him when he pets me.

Lily: The rain is so yucky! That means I have to go slow down the stairs...I hate that! I like to drag her all the way down real fast! Ya! Ya! YA! I'm so energetic, we went for a little jog tonight cuz I was so happy to be outside. Aaaaand the sitter thought we'd dodge the rain. Nope! Just got more wet!

Sam: What can I put in my mouth today?! So much to sniff out today because of all the rain and we also went a different route too! I've missed this sitter! WHOOO! Dinner was delicious and then I left Lily to finish while I cuddled with the sitter. He gave us some fresh water after our walk, not that we needed it, it was raining!

Lala: I was laying on my cat condo minding my own business when the sitter showed up. I laid really flat and acted as though I may pounce on her at any moment.

Nkosi: Impi is just staring out of the window as usual but I am running around acting like im afraid of the sitter then I rub up against her and run away, I will do anything to not be bored!

January 27, 2009

Charlie: I gave the sitter a big hug when she came through the door! We played keepaway outside with my toy, it always makes me go to the bathroom. After we came in I was calm and not so jumpy. I did a sneak attack on the sitter tonight. I laid down on the grass and didn't feel like moving so the sitter sat down with me, then I pounced! WHOO! I'm a lion!

Snowflake: Who has come to wake me up?! It's just the sitter! Grass was cut yesterday so there was a lot of smells in peoples yards, I had my nose in the ground a whole lot...the sitter doesn't know what she is missing!

Sam: I picked up something off the ground and tried to eat it but ended up dropping most of it, I find just about anything to try and eat.

Lily: WOW, im always last to go! Atleast im not first to finish my food like Mr. Sam...hehe, I take my time!

Nkosi: The others do not like the sitter, they were not hiding and were not liking the surprise of the sitter but I am sure they like to eat and have a clean litter box! I ate a little then laid down and watched her put some more water in our water bowl...it was getting loud! It's all better now!

Buster: Just another night of fun with the sitter. I toned my barking down a little bit cuz I knew him but then he brought out the leash and I went CRAZY! LETS GET OUTSIDE!

Tank: Well I just didn't want to go outside one bit. It took 5 minutes for the sitter to get me out there, even with treats! And when we were out there I didn't go far from the steps. I just wanted cuddles, so the sitter brought me back inside for a cuddles sesh!

January 26, 2009

Ultra: We got right to business as soon as we were outside the sitter said, "Wait one minute while I lock this door." When he turned around, Spike had left a present for him on the porch. I didn't bark once at the sitter! I knew him and knew he meant dinner so I was nice! Dinner was deeeelicious and I got my pill!

Spike: Ultra and I can't wait until the weather improves. Beautiful days are starting to become so rare. We still enjoyed our walk with the sitter, even with the sprinkle of rain. I really didn't want to go back into the back room but I did when the sitter was soooo nice about. I like those new cheese squares! But I tink there was a pill in there...

Charlie: We went on a wonderful walk today, the sitter and I. I saw so many squirrels and people and things I wanted to bark at and chase. But I behaved and stayed next to the sitter. I surprise the sitter pretty bad. I was all mopey at the door and sad and then he opened the door and I went CRAZY! WHOOO! Then we went outside and all I wanted to do was lay around. It was still fun though! I got lots of cuddles and fresh water! Tonight we went out to play in the yard. There was something in the woods though, sounded like a monkey! I didn't mind, I just wanted to run around! WHOO!

Maddie: The sitter took me on a walk today. It was so much fun feeling the breeze and showing off my training skills. The sitter gave me a treat when I got back and went in my crate.

Raven & Cooper: It was so quiet outside on our walk with the sitter. No dogs, or squirrels or people! The only thing I could hear was Cooper's and the sitter's panting.

Wilson: I went on a walk with the sitter today! Except it was less of a walk and more like a run. It sure was chilly, but now I'm all warmed up.

Nkosi: I was the only one to come out for food! My appetite has come back! The other two were laying on the bed so they were seen!

Snowflake: Patches kept barking at me today so I decided to walk the opposite way down the street. He isn't always a nice friendly neighbor!

Lily: Sitter said that I am getting a lot more white hairs on my face, do they have doggy hair dye?!

Sam: I started barking at something down the street but nothing was there, then I started barking at garden that had some animal statues in it, I really didn't like them!

Buster:
The sitter says I'm lots of fun and I say It's lots of fun going out side! I don't take advantage of the outdoors, I explore every inch possible! We came back in for a bit of cuddles and a treat!

January 25, 2009

Apollo: I hadn't seen this sitter in a long time so, ya, you could say I was pretty excited!!! We cuddled and went out before we came in for breakfast! MMM! When the sitter left after putting the gate up, I gave him a little scare. I would never hurt him, infact I love to cuddle, I just dont like being behind a gate!

K.O.: I was sleeping when the sitter came in and freaked him out a bit because I'm usually barking my head off. But when he called my name, He knew I was okay! I sure did a lot of running around outside today, but it was cold. Get me back inside! Lunch was so good today. After I finished I licked my bowl until it was spotless. When I came in from outside I re-cleaned both Apollo's and my bowl!

Napolean - Well, I loved the sitter. He gave me cuddles, he gave me food, he took me out. What more could I ask for! We were all over the sitter begging for scratches in our favorite spots. From the moment he walked in. We got to go on a walk and we played a game called pee on everything. Copperfield won!

Copperfield - First off, I took my pill like a pro, second, I was running all around when the sitter said he wanted to wrestle! I'd run at him, then run away, then I'd go back in for some more. I'm a good little wrestler!

Bean: I don't know what got into me last night but I had a couple of accidents in the living room. It was probably water though!

Ernie: WE WENT FOR A WALK THIS MORNING! I was EXCITED! I was running all over the place and when we got back, we got a treat! WHOO!

BB: I'm a little explorer. I may take it slow out there, but I get a lot done! It was pretty yucky out there though, I'll be glad to get back into my nice warm home!

Ultra: I remembered the sitter really well so I didn't bark once! We both had our pill and dinner was delicious! Breakfast! I just love when my food is soaked in chicken broth! Then Spike and I will take a refreshing morning walk with the sitter.

Spike: I really didn't want to go back in the back room but the sitter insisted. He gave me a couple extra cuddles to make me feel better! Another gray dreary day? I hope it doesn't rain again today. I am not a big fan of walking in the rain like Ultra is. We got back just as I felt a drop on my nose.

Chelsea & Oliver: Oliver and I were so happy to go on our walk. We rolled around on the grass together and competed for the sitter's attention. He gives such good head scratches! I begged for more and more!

Charlie: The sitter really tired me out when he came over tonight. We went out in the yard and played fetch with my reindeer toy until I couldn't do it anymore. Then I passed out on the kitchen floor.

January 24, 2009

Spike: This morning the sitter took Ultra and I on a walk. I kept getting all tangled in my leash, but the sitter was able to free me. Ultra thought it was funny. Ultra and I went on a wet walk with the sitter. I wasn't very happy about the rain but Ultra wanted to stop at every puddle to investigate. I was so happy to be back home warm and dry.

Ultra: It was rainy outside but the breeze was nice and cool. I had fun playing in the puddles during our walk. Spike just wanted to go home and nap.

Cooper & Raven: The sitter and Raven and I went on a nice dog-jog today. It was very quiet outside and slightly gray. But we pressed on and got a good workout.

Apollo: Head scratches and hugs and rubs! I hope the sitter doesn't mind our huge wet tongues. Ooo right there behind the ear! That's wonderful. It was rainy outside today so neither one of us felt like spending too much time out there. When we came back inside, the sitter gave me my food which I ate super quickly. I got some good pets from the sitter and just hung out with him for a bit because it was all rainy.

KO: The sitter actually brought some milk bones because there was no more peanut butter left. That was nice of him. Now I have an excuse for always thinking he's got a treat in his hand. I spent a little more time outside than Apollo (mainly to show him that I wasn't a baby) then came inside for food. Whne it was time to leave, the sitter gave me another milk bone for going back into my crate without a fuss!

Jasmine & Bailey: A sitter came tonight to take Bailey and I out on a walk. It was very foggy. We almost got lost! But Bailey found our way home using his sniffing skills.

Copperfield: Ok, so ONE of us managed to knock the treats container of the counter and eat all the treats from it last night. I'm not saying who it was but the sitter keeps looking at me and i don't appreciate it! I mean, just because it's pretty much physically impossible for Napoleon to reach the table top when the chairs are pushed in doesn't mean I'm the culprit.

Napoleon: Yeah, yeah, we all know who did it. We got our breakfast and everything and went outside for a short walk. hey, it doesn't count as a crime if you weren't the one that knocked over the treats but ate some anyways, right?

Bean: We were both acting pretty lazy and sleepy this morning..even me. Crazy, right? We just kinda meandered about and said hello to the sitter but neither of us had very much energy. The sitter said he understands. It is the weekend after all! I got all my energy back! When we went outside, I started barking which caused a symphony of dog barks throughout the neighborhood. I, of course, was lead vocals in the performance which I have to say was one of my better ones!

Ernie: Yeah, we did look petty sleepy this morning, i guess. hey, we're allowed. We're dogs! Anyways, the sitter let us out to potty and gave us some wake up head and back scratches. Then we got a treat which was my favorite part (as always) That barking song was fun! we should do that more often. It's nice to get other dogs involved in it. We've got some hidden talent laced throughout this neighborhood! After the fun, it was time to come back in for a treat and some goodbye scratches.

Chelsea: The sitter only saw one leash so he had to take us out separately tonight. It was spriking a ittle bit but i don't have nearly as much fur as Oliver so i didn't have to worry about it that much!

Oliver: As soon as the sitter put that leash on my i was ready to attack it! I'll show that leash who's boss! He thinks he can keep this beast tethered? We'll see about that! ha!

January 23, 2009

Ultra: The sitter came during the morning and fed us breakfast. When we went on our walk, Spike pooped right away. So we enjoyed the entire walk without bathroom breaks. It is quite a nice night. Spike and I went for a walk with the sitter after a delicious dinner and some bitter tasting medication. At least it was hidden in food.

Spike: When the sitter showed up, both Ultra and I were eagerly wagging our tails. Afternoon walks on beautiful days like today are always a must.

Apollo: O Boy! I love my morning chicken necks! Then I get to go outside, do my business and then come in for some loving. I was super-friendly to the sitter today. I was ready to get out into the yard when the sitter showed up today. I heard him open the door and I was telling him, from the hallways, to hurry up and let me out! We went out into the yard and I did my business and then it was time to eat. When he was putting the gate back up in hallway before he left, I tried to scare him with some big barks and it totally worked! haha.

KO: Time to go outside again. Apollo may not want to be outside for long, but I'm going to romp and play outside for as long as the sitter will let me. when the sitter let me out of my crate, I had so much energy that I didn't know where I wanted to go. When we went outside, I ran all over the place. I always think there's a treat or something in the sitter's hand. Even when he shows me that there's nothing there, I just know he's hiding something! I'll get it one day.

Raven & Cooper: We had a very fun run today. We got to show off our fancy new haircuts to everyone outside. We didn't get as hot on the run thanks to the new cuts.

Bailey: Hurray for my afternoon walk! I got so much attention during the walk. Everybody told me how beautiful I am and the sitter told me I was a really good girl.

Bean: The sitter stopped by this morning to give us some much wanted attention. Oh, he also took us out to go potty too, which is always nice. It was early but that doesn't stop me from getting super excited and trying to climb all over the sitter and give him hugs. He said he appreciates the attention, though. The sitter came by for one last time today to make sure we were all good for the rest of the night. we went out to go potty real quick and then just relaxed for a while. I know that relax isn't really in my vocabulary but sometimes it's nice to just spend time with people and get some good back scratches that get my legs a-twitching!

Ernie -I was looking extra lazy tonight. I can tell that I'm going to have a good night's rest because I'm looking pretty ready to go already. we went outside for a minute to go potty and then back inside for a treat and some quality time. Oh yeah, definitely going tosleep well tonight! It's the sitter again! I like the morning visit because I always have to go potty REALLY bad! After going potty, I just like to wander around the yard while Bean does her thing. I like the part when we go back inside and I get a treat, too!

Copperfield: Hey! it's the sitter! Give me some foooood! Oh, wait, it's not food time. Well let's go for a walk then! We went on a really nice walk today because it was really great weather this after noon. we went all around the complex just enjoying being outside! it was great! Ok, NOW it's food time. I'm going to try and break my record for quickest dinner consumption, ok? After i ate, the sitter had to move me out of the way so he could feed Napoleon. Good thing, too cause i would have been all over that food. We also got to go on a short walk which is always nice in the evening.

Napoleon: Why does Copperfield always try and take mt food? He's got me all paranoid all the time now and I've gotta keep looking around after every bite! He needs to calm down a little bit, right? Oh well, i got to at all my food so no worries. Let's go out now cause i have to go potty. When the sitter came in, I got real excited and wanted to try and give him hugs but he's so much bigger than I am so it's hard. He usually sits down on the floor for me so I can climb up onto him and get a better vantage point for kisses. I'm glad he's considerate. We went on an awesome walk today and i was really pooped by the time we got back.

January 22, 2009

Cooper - We have new hair cuts! WHOO! I took my time eating my snack today. There were a lot of apples in there!

Raven - It was a pretty nice day for a walk except the construction people were out making all sorts of noises. I barked at them a bit! Tehe!

Clooney - The sitter took me for a nice long walk. It felt good outside for a change! We came back in for some cuddles and play time!

Bean - We really got the neighbors dog going again. Hehe! Then the sitter really got my LEG going again!

Ernie - No more dinner again! Those neighbors, they need to keep it to themselves so I can eat more more more! Atleast I got a treat!

Apollo - Our lunch was frozen so the sitter said he'd give it to us tonight after it thawed a bit. That's alright, I'll just take some cuddles!I don't know when that was I was eating but it was chicken necks. It took me longer to get through these bones!

K.O. - I'll take some cuddles to, after I RUN! AHHH! More peanut butter in the KONG! I chomped and chomped and quickly devoured my dinner! MMM!

January 21, 2009

Ernie: The sitter looked funny this morning because he was so bundled up. It was even colder this morning than yesterday so that's understandable. Poor Bean was shivering when we went outside. He should grow more fur like me. Oh well. I always try to eat his treat, too because he never seems to want it. It's only when I try to eat it that he snatches it up.

Bean:I was shivering outside! I didn't like it out there today, nope, not one bit. Ok, so why does Ernie always try to eat my treats? Just because i don't eat it the second the sitter gives it to me doesn't mean that I don't want to eat it. Big Ernie is so big that he just HAS to eat everything, huh?

Lula: So there was ice all over the streets this morning. yeah, that's right, ICE! We were excited to be outside and everything but whoooo it was chilly! We got our willies out and came back inside. Thing is, once we got back inside all those willies came back because we have all these great toys to play with.

Coco: Yeah, no thanks to that ice out there! When we came back inside the sitter got us some fresh water and cleaned out our boxes. Like always, he took care of the kitties' boxes too. He actually got to see both of them today! That was a first for him. Everybody just wanted attention.

Cooper: I always forget that sitter has seen all my toys because everytime he gets here, I always have to run and grab one to show him. He says "I know, I've seen those already" and I think, "...oh yeah!" But I get him to play with me anyways. Our walk was good this afternoon. It was nice and sunny so it warmed up a bit. At least enough to make it bearable.

Raven: The sitter came over and gave us our snack. I don't know why Cooper always tries to run when the sitter wipes our faces off...I think it's nice of him. Maybe Cooper just likes having a bunch of yogurt all over his face? I didn't poop on my walk today... Just didn't have to, I guess.

Mattie: The sitter came and got me out of my crate and boy was i excited to see him. I showed him how much by giving him hugs and kisses. I was a good girl, though, and never tried to nibble on him. I was also very good on my walk because I never tried to stop and sit down once. Just kept moving around the block. Nope, there's no stopping me!

January 20, 2009

K.O. and Apollo: So much energy! The cold air makes us a little crazy! We got a fresh package of turkey necks, yay! Sitter got all the ice off of them for us...they stayed really cold!

Bailey: The sitter made me heel the whole time, I calmed down a little with all the pulling, I should be a sled dog. The sitter came over and got us out of our crates. He'd never seen Lexus before so he was pretty excited about that. We got ut on our walk and i was being a bit stubborn at first but I started to heel more about halfway through. We came back in and got to play a little bit then had a treat.

Lexus: I had no accidents in my crate, I pottied outside and got a treat for it. I can't say there won't be an accident when you get home since I am just a puppy! The sitter almost seemed more excited to see me than I was to see him. He said puppies are just too hard to resist. We got to go on a walk and I'm still kind of learning the ways of the leash. I forget that i'm tethered so I try to walk around things and that doesn't really work that well

Sydney: Sasha was hiding during most of the visit until it was time to eat, I don't know what she could of been doing!

Alice: hi! hi! hi! Libby and I played in the backyard a little and ate our breakfast...boring old dry food so I think I will wait until im really hungry

Abby: Why she gotta jangle the keys so I don't run out? All she has to do is ask nicely and I won't go out..promise!

Snowflake: Can it be any colder?! I like warm weather! Us old dogs stay cold with this thin fur! I didn't wanna do much of anything but pee and run home but she made me stay out even though I kept darting home!

Bean: The sitter really got my leg going today. He found a spot on my back that I just couldn't handle! I loved it! Brrr, it's cold outside. this morning. I already went nuts when the sitter showed up but it was too cold for me to get too excited while i was outside. Of course, once we made our way back in, I proceeded to go crazy again. I demanded attention from the sitter which he, of course, gave me. He got my leg motor going with a well placed back scratch!

Ernie: The sitter says it's so easy to come over. The neighbors fed us again so all he had to do was play with us, or got to I should say! Then we got treats! I don't know what Bean's problem is. How does he have so much energy so early in the morning? I'd like to know his secret but he never tells me. I wasn't too cold but I've got alot more fur than Bean or the sitter. Oh well, let's go back inside and make with the treats!

Lula: The sitter came over and scooped out our boxes first this morning. He also took care of the cats' boxes too. When he came down we were showing him all of our toys but he said it was walk time. I'm alright with that!

Coco: The sitter said he never saw a doggie litter box before before he started taking care of us. On our walk, we kept getting tangled up in our leashes because we were so excited that we'd cross paths too often. The sitter was a pro at untangleing us while we walked, though. i think he's done this before!

Daisy: I wasn't hiding upstairs today when the sitter walked in. I was sitting on the couch instead. He went straight for my leash because he knows that I warm up once the leash makes an appearance. We didn't walk for too long before I wanted to turn around. It was really windy and I was shivering so it just wasn't that enjoyable out there. I did my business, at least.

Harmon: When the two of them got back from the walk, the sitter came upstairs to check my water and all that. He cleaned out my liter box and then gave me a mega brushing that caused me to purr so loud. I kept rubbing up on stuff and I was so distracted that I almost fell off my shelf!

Wilson: I growled at the sitter again when he came in but i quickly remembered who he was. He hooked me up to my leash and off we went. It was a bit chilly but i was way too excited to even think about the temperature. I heard two dogs on the walk barking from their yard and I just stood there wondering what they were yelling about?

Cooper: Whenever the sitter comes I get all excited and hop around for a bit. I'm usually even too excited to eat my snack right away cause I'm trying to play with the sitter. When we went out on our walk it was chilly but not too bad. Usual for the week we've been having. I couldn't decide where to poop right away but I found a good spot eventually.

Raven: If cooper doesn't start eating his snack pretty soon, I'm going to eat it for him! I had the same problem on our walk as Cooper, too me a while to decide where I wanted to poop. Maybe because the ground is cold and it's just hard to sniff out that prime real estate? When we got back inside the sitter gave us each a treat and I showed him my high five trick.

January 19, 2009

KO and Apollo: I was especially energetic when the sitter made his visit this morning. First I was given my breakfast which I devoured. Then I was let outside. It was so nice out I decided to stay out for a bit to enjoy it.

Alice, Libby, Abby and Squeezy: The sitter came by to feed us all breakfast. Libby and him and I played in the backyard together. Abby kept trying to escape but we helped the sitter keep her inside.

Wilson: I am a super-dog! At least it felt like it during my walk the sitter. I was pulling with all of my dog-of-steel strength!

Raven & Cooper: It was such a lovely afternoon for a walk. We passed quite a few other doggies and people that were enjoying the fine weather. The sitter stopped to pick up some poop and ended up with fire ants! Cooper and I ran extra fast with him to shake them off. We were all exhausted when we got back.

Bean & Ernie: Yay! Backyard fun with the sitter! Ernie was playing the shy game. But after he saw how much fun the sitter and I were having, he came out to join us.

Sydney and Sasha: I was sitting on my two back legs begging for my treat, I don't mind there are pills in it! Sasha had her own treat then we both had some wet food! yummy!

Snowflake: It so cold out there! I much rather be sleeping on the couch! I was happy to be back inside where it was nice and warm! The sitter sat by me and scratched my back, feels great!

January 18, 2009

Shadow: The sitter woke me up again this morning for a walk. It was very nice, but the sky is all grey and it looks like it might rain. I hope I don't get rained on.

Apollo & KO: Mmmmmm...Breakfast! I munched all of my chicken up fast. I offered the sitter a piece but he said he had already eaten. KO was super excited to see the sitter this morning.

Bean & Ernie:I love it when the sitter comes over to play! Ernie and the sitter and I went out back and played. We got scritched and scratched all over!

B.B.: I tend to take my time on the walks now. It was a bit chilly but I managed to do my business and enjoy the morning walk!

Libby - I remembered the sitter and liked him much more this time around! He gave me a belly rub and a delicious breakfast!

Alice - I'm kind of crazy, so you better watch out sitter! I got real close to him and sat in his lap so he could scratch my ears! Mmm MM!

Abby - I needed some cuddles too so I called out to the sitter. He says I talk funny!

Squeeze - I said a quick hi to the sitter then retreated. He'll still make sure I'm all set though!

The Turtles - We enjoy pellets and water. Thank you mister sitter man.

The guineas - We don't know whether to hide and come out but we do know that we're thankful for food and water!

Puffy - Hidin!
Precious - Me too!
Sadie - So was I but at least I noticed that the sitter had put some food out for us and then cleaned our litter box area!

Sidney - I took my meds like a pro and then needed a neck scratch which the sitter delivered! Thaaaaank yoooou!
Sasha - I'm hungry and always on the prowl. I quickly devoured the food and then headed off to do my own thing!

January 17, 2009

Puffy, Precious, and Sadie: It's a good thing the sitter is here. Our food is almost gone in our feeder. He replenished it for us. bit we stayed hidden, and watched from our various secret
hiding places.

Apollo - I remember this guy and the cuddles he brings! The sitter said I made him laugh because, even though I'm huge and big, I act just like a little puppy, kind of like his own dogs. I don't anything about that, I just like cuddles.

K.O. - I..am..a...NUT! We went outside first so I could do my duties (HA!), then we came back in for breakfast! MMM!

Raven - I don't let the sitter go to fast on the morning jog. I like to take it slow, plus it was freeeezing and the breeze could've killed us!

Cooper - I don't know about any breeze being fatal but I agreed to take it slow. We got treats when we got back inside!

Apollo - I tell you, I don't like being put into a room when K.O.'s out. I need to be free! Free to roam! Good thing I'm in here with a kong, otherwise I would might have to KILL! Kidding!

Shadow:
The sitter woke me up from a wonderful dream involving a large plush rug and a roaring fire place to go take a walk in twenty degree weather. I was looking forward to returning to that fire place as soon as I got back.

Zilker: It was so cold this morning that when I sniffed around on the ground, the pine needles froze to my nose! Very peculiar. When we got back from our walk the sitter rubbed me down to warm me up.

January 16, 2009

Shadow: The sitter came this evening to take me on a walk and give me my medication, which I took like a champion. It was very cold outside but we still had an enjoyable walk.

Ernie: I am so shy. The sitter had to show me my leash and offer me a treat before I would come closer.Beau jumped around excitedly and ran outside without the sitter even asking.
Apollo and KO: The sitter came tonight to let both KO and I outside. It was freezing out there. With my fur I was able to tolerate it a bit, but KO wanted back in as soon as he was finished.

Zilker: After a delicious dinner of rice and yogurt due to my tummy troubles, the sitter and I went on a walk through the park. It is so much different when it is so cold. less scents, so quiet.

Daisy - I was hiding under the bed when the sitter got here today. I was really nervous right up until I saw the leash in his hand. I know what that means! We went on a pretty good walk but it was kind of chilly and halfway through the walk I wanted to go back. Once we got back inside i ran right upstairs to hide again. I just don't trust that sitter yet.

Harmon - It was too cold for me to go exploring today so I stayed inside. I wanted lots of attention from the sitter which he definitely gave me. he also made sure my box was clean and that I had plenty of food and water.

Wilson- When the sitter came in today I was a bit reluctant and put on my mean face for him but he showed me he was a good guy and got to rubbing my tummy. He took me out for a walk down the block and i was so happy to get outside. I was trotting all over the place. When we go back inside the sitter gave me a treat and filled up my water. I was thirsty after all that running around!

Raven - The sitter came over and made the house quite the busy place. He was here and so was the cleaner. It was like an afternoon party! We got our snack and then it was walk time. Very chilly outside but totally bearable because of these awesome, poofy fur coats!

Cooper - When the sitter got here I was so excited, I started to show him some of my toys and tried to give him hugs. He gave us our snack which I destroyed in mere minutes and then we went out on a walk. He looked a bit cold!

January 15, 2009

Sadie: I was hiding behind the microwave and decided to jump out for a surprise but I didn't stick around for long and went to go find a good hiding place.

Cairo: I looked out the window while the sitter fed us and scooped our box, this cold weather makes me sleepy and lazy.

Cujo: I love the cold weather but rather be in my backyard enjoying it than walking. I am a spoiled brat!

Snowflake: Another day of bossing the sitter around. My friend patches was being lazy and not barking at me as usual, I guess the cold weather makes him lazy.

January 14, 2009

Sadie, Puffy, and Precious: Its cold outside so its making us want to just stay hidden. We like to rearrange our mats in front the litter box for fun, it makes quite a mess!

Cairo and Annabelle: We roamed all over the house while the sitter was here. So much for keeping the visitor entertained.

Lula and Coco: So cold out there! We tried our best to get tangled but the sitter always wants us to walk straight, what fun is that?!

Daisy: I was really excited about the sitter being at the house but then I got this overwhelming feeling of running upstairs but we went for a walk and I came inside and didn't even bother with getting a treat, what dog doesn't want a treat? I let Harmon have the rest of the attention.

Shadow: The puppy is gone so its all about me! I ran outside all around the house, then I came inside to play with my toy. I am a little crazy about my toy!

Cooper: Raven isn't here today so I get to walk by myself. Getting cold so I think Raven will be breaking out the tacky sweater anyday now.

Bean and Ernie: We both were excited about going out to potty. The big thing on the tree said "30" on it, which the sitter says means 30 degrees! We don't know what that means but it was really cold out there!

January 13, 2009

Meg - I was so happy to see the sitter again! Even though I was sleeping! Hehe. We went out for a nice walk and then came back in for cuddles. I conquered those stairs too because I'm the champion of cute! Sitter came back at dinner time! I wasn't sure what I wanted to do tonight. Eat, go outside, eat, go outside! The sitter said "alright, I'll come sit with you while you eat" and I devoured my dinner. Then out for a nice walk!

Tank - I was a bit stubborn out there today. I really only like to go one way down the street now or I wont go at all! But when we got back the sitter gave me a treat anyway... and CUDDLES!

Lily - I didn't even come out to say hi to the sitter at all. Just stayed in hiding, safe and sound. But I smell a little bit of food so I'll have to venture out at some point! Blue said a quick hello to the sitter then retreated into the bedroom. He watched the sitter put some water into our food though. Keepin it moist!

Bean - I am a little wild one! I was barking a bit but I don't know why, just couldn't hold it in I guess! We went outside then came back in for some dinner, but wasn't too hungry. Ernie love's the sitter. He could take cuddles all day long. He wants to take cuddles all day long. CUDDLES! Everyone got treats too! Even the sitter! He says thank you!

January 12, 2009

Meg: I was waiting at the door cleaning my paws and didn't even realize the sitter had arrived. I got up and was happy to go outside because then I get to come in and eat!

Puffy, Precious & Sadie: We had to make a tough decision..hide from the sitter or come out for treats! What do we do?!

Daisy: I went for a short walk, I was doing good then decided going any further would be a very bad idea!!

Wilson: The sitter and I had an awesome walk today. There were other dogs all over shouting and barking at me because they were jealous, but I ignored them. Then I pooped twice! It was very exciting.

Cooper: What an exciting run the sitter and I had today. I wish Raven could have been here for it. We ran all around the neighborhood, only stopping when another dog appeared in the street. But I ignored him, the sitter was grateful.

Popeye: I am a triple A, triple plus hider. The sitter changed my litter and checked my food and water but never saw me. I am so excellent!

January 11, 2009

Meg - The sitter dropped by to say hello and let me out but after I went potty I just sort of stood there. I guess I didn't feel much like spending time out there so we went back inside and the sitter just gave me lots of attention and scratches. I could totally get used to this!

Sadie, Puffy and Precious: We spied on the sitter today while he refreshed our water and cleaned the litter. Every so often one of us would dart out to get a better position. Puffy and Precious did fine, but I blew our cover by accident running across the living room.

January 10, 2009

Meg - It's the early morning and I was wide awake waiting for the sitter. He said it seems like I'm never asleep anymore. I used to be asleep every time he came over but now I'm always awake at the door. We went out for a morning walk and then back inside for some breakfast! I was pretty hungry and ate it all really fast.

Gabby - It never fails that I'll be sitting in my spot on the sofa when the sitter gets here. He gave me my shot right away and, as usual, it didn't bug me one bit. He keeps my min doff it with those head scratches! He checked our water and food and while he was doing that i decided to come over to the food and have a little bit.

Phloyd - I was outside having some adventures when the sitter was here. It was only as he was about to leave that I popped in to say hello. He returned the gesture with some attention and kitty scratches.

Puff, Precious & Sadie: We all stayed hidden while the sitter was here. We could see what he was doing from our top secret location, though. He made sure we had enough food and water and he cleaned out all of our boxes. You know how we like those boxes 100% fresh!

Popeye - I didn't want to say hello to the sitter. I'd rather jus keep to myself while he keeps to himself. He saw my toys all scattered around and tried to get my attention with some of them but I'm not going to fall for that one!

Cooper & Raven: Today Raven and I ran extra hard. I felt like my tongue was going to fall out! When we got back I went straight to the hallway and passed out, while Raven took a big gulp of water.

January 9, 2009

Precious, Sadie & Puffy: When the sitter came in, Sadie and Puffy bolted into hiding. I decided to hide and spy on the sitter. I watched him clean our litter and check our food and water. Maybe next time I'll give him a chance.

Meg:
Just what an old gal like me needs. A nice walk in the early morning, and a bowl of breakfast when I come back. I do enjoy the fresh air.

Gabby & Phloyd: I came out for my shot this morning and surprised the sitter. He told me even he wouldn't voluntarily get a shot. Oh well, cats 1, humans 0... The shot was a piece of cake. Phloyd starred groggily the whole time.

Raven & Cooper: The sitter came to go on a dog-jog this afternoon. When we were eating our snack, Cooper get yogurt all over his face. He looked rather silly until the sitter cleaned it off. Then we went on a run.

Snowflake: Yay! A sitter has come to play with me and walk me. I love to be outside, catching the cool breeze through my ears. I got a treat when we got back for being so good.

Thursday, January 8, 2009

January 8, 2009

Gabby: I was out waiting for my shot, no reason to go and hide when I have to do it anyway! Phloyd really has it made but just wait until he is my age!

Popeye: The sitter found me finally in the bathroom hiding behind the shower curtain. I had been playing with the toilet paper, there is only so much for me to do.

Cujo: After I came back in Francis my neighbor managed to sneak into the backyard and started eating my ice cubes, who says I like to share?!

Meg: I was so sneezy! I did really good getting up the steps, usually I wait for a few minutes to just think about getting up there. Later, the sitter could see me as soon as he pulled up to the driveway. because I'm usually sleeping in the office, he thought maybe there was a new dog here but nope! Just me. I was wide awake and waiting for him to come in and take me outside because I had to go! Once we got back inside the sitter sat down with me and gave me a bunch of belly rubs and head scratches! Now I think it's time for a nap.

Daisy: Harmon and I had treats outside and then we had to go back in! Such a pretty day out there!

Raven: Cooper and I went the other direction for our walk but I think the other more quiet path is much better!

Snowflake: We had to wait forever to go outside, well it felt like it! The neighbor had her dogs out when we usually go out in the early morning. The neighbors phone was off and so the sitter walked out and let those dogs we don't get along with bark until the neighbor saw that they needed to come back in...all of us were ready to pop!

January 7, 2009

Wilson: The sitter came and walked me today. It was very windy outside. I ran through the breeze, it felt so refreshing. Fresh drinking water when I got back too!

Mattie: I was so full of energy when the sitter arrived. I acted on my best behavior while on the walk. I ignored all the bugs, berries and random McDonalds along the street. And when I got back, I went right into my crate.

Clooney
: It was pretty chilly out there but we went for a walk anyway. I picked up a stick and wouldn't let go... then I had to go to the bathroom and I finally dropped it! Cuddle time!

Gabby: The sitter said I was the easiest cat to give an insulin shot too because I'm a pimp. I said, no I'm a lady. And he said sorry, that's just what kids his age say when they think someone's cool and I said oh you kids! Then cuddles! Phloyd is so cool, just hanging out on the porch, chillin. The sitter wouldn't stop saying how awesome our little kitty bathroom was, and he just told him "aint no thang."

Coco
: It was raining this morning and so Lula and I had to get our feet wet. We wanted to go all over the place and jump in the water but the sitter wouldn't let us, no fair!

Frosty
: Me first! me first! I always eat first because I am the best! Sammy has been really restless at night because he wants to play when it is time to sleep for the night. When the sitter tries to eat her dinner we like to gather around and watch her but Indy is the only one (other than Mozart) that doesn't do it but we think its funny to stare since she watches us eat.

Raven
: It was a nice quiet walk today, it hasn't been as cold as it should so I haven't been able to wear my colorful sweater, what a shame!

Wednesday, January 7, 2009

January 6, 2009

Popeye: Still hiding as usual. Wherever I am I have been eating and drinking, I would say hello and thank you but I just can't!

Raven: I hadn't seen my friend in forever! We had a nice walk even though I kept smelling something in the trees, must be the deer! Cooper was a good boy and sat while his gentle leader was put on and also patiently waited for Raven to do his "business" sometimes he takes forever!

Lula: I run around and around like crazy! I was so happy to get some wet food and get some fresh water. Coco said someone missed the litter box, it wasn't her! Kitty was trying to eat my wet food so she thinks maybe they should eat first so they can find their own food.

Piper: I jumped on the sitter but I don't let her touch me! We all try to pull her arm off when we go walk, its so much fun! Buster just sat around and watched the sitter clean up our mess and get our wet food. You wouldn't know he could pull so hard on a leash! Max did jump! jump! jump! He wanted stand on the dirty pads while the sitter tried to throw them out...hehe...

Kenisha: I stayed in the room because I wanted the couch and I felt like it was sooo crowded but I like to stay in the room, I have the bed to myself or with Ori. Ori gobbled up his food but Kenisha took her sweet time. If she don't learn to eat fast Ori will gobble hers up too!

Sammy: I jumped on the sitter while she was sitting down and stood over her sniffing her face, I really want to play fetch but unfortunately she has to sleep...I do that all day! Frosty said Hello! Can you give me some yummy food?! please! I could eat all day, I don't even care if I have to have medicine...its all great to me! Indy wanted to stay outside while the others went in but the sitter wouldn't let him be out there by himself, she pretended to walk inside and he decided to follow. The sitter laughs at Snowflake when she lays down because she rolls over on her side veryyy slowlyyyy and she "sighs" when she's doing it. Mozart keeps getting picked up and taking outside? She wants to just lay there in peace?!

Tank: I have a confession. I love to hang out with the sitter! We went for a walk and I was a little stubborn at first but then he called me a good boy and I said thank you and we continued on our walk. When we got back, TREATS!

Gyro: I'm a little wild one, crazy, crazy, crazy! Dinner was delicious and I always like being held like a baby! The sitter says it's a scary sight to see Tucker running at him full speed. "How will he ever stop!" He screams, and he doesn't stop, just runs right passed him, inside to his dinner!

January 5, 2009

Max: I was on the couch with the sitter and I kept going after Buster because he was trying to steal the attention from me! MY COUCH! MY SITTER! Buster was nice and calm but Max was being mean to him not letting him get petted by the sitter on the couch.

Jiggy: I kept trying to say hi to the sitter but I was really just opening my mouth and a little air was coming through. I was the friendliest and wanted lots of cuddles! George doesn't really like being pat that much so he keeps his distance but he loves to watch the sitter! Misty was eating as soon as the sitter put our food down! Whoo hooo! She loves food! Spook likes to lounge out on the table. You know, just something he likes to do. The sitter comes around and scratches his neck, he like that too.

Magnolia: I am all excited about my momma coming back home, Butter is too even though I enjoyed my staycation very much!

Sammy: I am all nice to the sitter now, I even expect her to take me out to fetch at 1 am...haha! Kenisha and Ori have been sticking together lately but I guess its because we stay in the room together, we like to go wayyy back in the yard for a long time and scare the sitter since its so dark at night. Mozart gets carried outside every time its potty time because he could get trampled since he is blind. He mostly sleeps and only barks if he cannot find his water bowl. Frosty: Even after he eats he thinks everyone elses food is his but he never tries to take it from them. He does still try to guard the water bowl if he sees Mozart even if he is being carried from outside. Indy is quiet but he does eat his food. He like to be outside the longest...he just stands around and thinks about going back in.

Cooper: Raven and I ran so hard today. We were both chugging the air as if it were water. And when we got back, we chugged some water as well.
Snowflake: I follow the sitter around while she is putting out food and I am hoping she will go ahead and feed me...I am really impatient.

Bb: I havent seen this sitter in a while! But I like to go on walks with him. I was pretty stubborn at first, as uuuusual, but then I was pretty excited to get out there. Took my time but did my business!

Piper: We remember this guy! We were all excited to play but that would have to wait until he was done clean up or messes! Ooops! The sitter gave us some delicious food. Buster was happy that we had Bil Jac and he thinks its absolutely delicious! He wanted to have some more! Max gave a little bark and growl at the sitter before he remembered him, then he remembered he was pretty easy to get a treat from and he takes us for walks and he was happy!

Ally was just taking a nap on the couch when the sitter came in. He gave me food and all that good stuff but more importantly he gave me CUDDLES! More please!

January 3, 2009

BB: I didn't feel like getting off the couch today, but I had lots of fun on my walk once I did!

Max:
I'm not sure what I think about this new sitter. I was happy to go outside though! Buster was happy to see the sitter and he jumped up and down when she came in. Then we went outside to potty! Piper was excited to see company and gave the sitter lots of kisses!

Jiggy:
I had lots to say to the sitter. I followed her all around and talked the whole time. George sat in the chair and waited for the sitter to come and give him some attention. Misty was hiding under the bed but the sitter found her. And Spook was watching all the action from a distance. We all got new food and it was so goood!

Alice: Boy was I ready to get out of my house and into the real world! Outside that is... But I was pretty pumped about it and breakfast was deeelicious even though I was too excited to eat!Libby never warmed up to the sitter too much, but she did sneak over for a few cuddles. She's just a little girl you know? Just being careful! The turtles were just swimming around! No need for a second helping of breakfast! The guineas were running around frantic like but the sitter gave them some new food and all that goodins! The kitties just hide. The sitter made sure our food was all good though and he put some outside just in case we slip out!

Bob: That sitter's still coming around. Still taking care of my food and water and whatnot. I don't think I'll ever come out!

Nina: I tell you what, I like running from here to there and then rubbing my head against Jackson. And I like getting loads of cuddles. Jackson didn't stop talking, especially if he's in need of a cuddle, which is all the time... So he never stop talking!!

Snowflake: I was hiding under the bed as usual, let out a little hiss just to let the sitter know! Hehe! He gave me some food and all that. I'll venture out later if I get hungry!

Summer & Josie: WHOOO! We havent seen this sitter in foreeeever! We just got back from our walk and now it's time for dinner and I ate all those meds! The sitter said we've seemed to mellow out a bit since the last time he saw us so he took a risk and walked us together. We were AWESOME! No pulling what so ever and we both did out business. That earned us a few extra cuddles!

January 2, 2009

Murry, Mr. Bungles & Delilah: Great! Another walk for Murray. But hey! The sitter cleaned the litter and put food out for Delilah and me. Wait! Is this a distraction? Where did Murray and the sitter go? Then the sitter came for our evening walk. It was joyful. There weren't many people out tonight. So we had all of the sidewalks to ourselves. Mr. Bungles and Delilah told me they have never seen a sidewalk. How peculiar.

Alice, Libby, Abby & Squeezy: Yay! The sitter is here. We just want to cuddle all day. Libby and I smothered him after he finished feeding everyone. He looked like he enjoyed it. When it was time for the sitter to tuck us in for the night we were ready to go. Plus we got our night time chewy. The sitter scratched our bellies and had a conversation with Abby.

Raven & Cooper: It's a beautiful sunny day for a run with the sitter. Raven ran faster than usual today. I thought he might start leading all of us. When we got back we cooled down, then took a nap.

Ally: I came out of hiding while the sitter was checking my food and water. We had a bit of a conversation and once I got to know him he pet me. He scratched my head and my back.

Nina & Jackson: Woo hoo! I am excited. The sitter made the white fuzzy dance and fly and I tackled it to the ground over and over again until the sitter's arm was tired. Jackson kept scratching at the food servers.

Kitty: Hello! Its time for me to eat! Hurry! Hurry!

Beemer: I barked the sitter for a while but I stopped once she let bruschi out. We ran around the yard. There was something in the tree and we kept looking up there but unfortunately we don’t climb trees.

Snowflake: I was in a different hiding spot so the sitter stayed out of my room. She cleaned my toilet and gave me more food and water and left so I could come out and not be bothered.

Miles and Macy: We said hello but only one of us stayed out to get petted. Just give us our food and scooped our box thats all we ask for!

January 1, 2009

Murray: Hey sitter! Do you know what time it is? It's time to go run in the park! No walking today! It's way too cold out! Let's see if you can keep up with an old dog like me! When we get back in Delilah can get some attention from you while I box Mr. Bungle! I won't hurt him though! Promise! But he keeps messing with me!

Bob: The sitter came this morning. Way too early for me to get myself up out of bed. When I woke up I had a whole lot more food and the water tasted fresh.

Alice, Libby, Abby & Squeezy: O boy! The sitter is here! That means cuddle pile and belly rubs. Even Abby came for some rubs. Plus breakfast and playtime outside. I'm so excited I can't contain myself.

Beemer: I barked at the sitter at first but then I remembered her and we were friends. Bruschi bolted outside to potty and play. It's a little chilly this morning so he ran back inside when the sitter said it was breakfast time.

Rufus: I met the sitter at the door. I really needed to go out for a potty break. We had a great time!

Jiggy: The sitter came over this morning to give us some food and play with us a bit. I walked right up to him and said hello. Really what I was saying was "hey man, make with the food!" but he doesn't have to know that!
George: the sitter gave me a good brushing today and some of the other cats started to get jealous of the attention I was getting so the sitter had to switch gears and juggle the brush between multiple cats!
Misty: I stayed in the living room and waited patiently for the food plate to be put in front of me! Talk about service! When the brush made it's appearance, I was all over that sitter!
Spook: I didn't really feel like joining in on the fun the other cats were having in the living room. I'm still taking my kitty nap. Come back later!

Lily & Blue: We were both just sitting on the bed, watching the sitter from our room. If he took a step towards us, we took a step away so he decided not to come try and pet us. We're just staying on our guard, you know? We stick together. We thanked him anyways for giving us food and water and cleaning out our box for us.

Bonnie: I was full of energy today and kept sliding on the floor because I was jumping all over the place! Cassie was starved and licked all the bowls clean! She was looking for more food but we weren't sharing with her! Sarah let the sitter pet her today. She was a very brave girl!

Big Boy - The other cats decided to stay in their respective hiding spots as usual but I was there to say hello to the sitter. I didn't get up or anything, i just watched him from my favorite spot on the couch. I'll get to all that food that he put out, once he leaves. He cleaned out our boxes too and gave me a good head scratching on the way out. I'll tell the other kitties that he said hello.

Jiggy: I was so talkative when the sitter was here. I was meowing quite ferociously when he was getting our canned food ready. It sounded pretty demanding to be honest with you. But because I'm so cute, the sitter said it didn't bother him!
George: I was walking around with the sitter, following him everywhere he went. I was just curious to see what he was doing to our boxes and all that. Cleaning them is a-ok with me. thanks for the food, too!
Misty: The sitter started to scartch me in just the right spot that it made me plop over onto my side. It was too much for me. i told him to stop but he wouldn't listen! it's like when someone pins you down to tickle you: you're still laughing but you want it to stop!
Spook: I stayed hiding...either that or sleeping. It's hard to tell when you're a cat. Some days we spend so much time sleeping that all the hours in the day just kind of melt together and we forgetwhen we're awake.

Jackson: We need attention! Nina actually wants some too! She doesn't need too much, but i do! Pet me while I roll around on the floor! And please make our food drop! I can't wait until dinnertime!

Hamilton: The sitter's here! It's time to eat! Woohoo! We can devour a big bowl of food in less than three seconds flat! We are champions! Now throw this ball! It's fetch time! Hey, Crunch won't put it down! We're trying to play a game here Crunch!

Jackson - The sitter came over tonight to make sure we had fresh water and clean out our box. Then he just sat down with us to give us some attention. He started to scratch me and got me to roll all around the kitchen. he said it was like a dog, the way I was rolling over. the nerve of that guy, comparing me to one of those dumb slobbery animals!
Nina - The sitter tried to play with me again tonight but i really just don't feel like playing when he's here. He got the brush out and i liked that for a while but i just wanted good old plain scratches on the head. Before he left, he cheated a little bit and gave us a tiny bit of food from our feeders before the timer went off. It was small but man, was it delicious!

Crunch - The sitter came by tonight and I was a little scared again. there were people still shooting off fireworks. They weren't that frequent but enough to get me all nervous. As soon as the siter opened the door to the deck, I was inside. He calmed me down a little and then put us in the garage before it was time to go.
Hamilton - Poor Crunch, He's pretty nervous. I'm feeling alright because the fireworks aren't too bad. I tried to tell him to calm down but he just won't have any of that. It's a good thing the sitter showed up because having him here helped crunch feel better!

Aspen - That sitter is so silly, he put my harness on upside down the first time! We can't go on a walk like that! It was alot colder tonight than last night, the sitter looked pretty coold. Too bad he doesn't have this awesome winter coat permanently attached to his body!
Jackson - I was more receptive to the sitter tonight because I recorgnized him a little, een though it was a buit dark outside and i didn't want to go in to get my harness put on. We had a nice walk, otherwise. I wanted to stop and investigate every smell. Aspen kept trying to eat pinecones!

December 31, 2008

Murray: I'm ready for a nice morning run! It's about time you got here Mr. Sitter! I gotta pee! Mr. Bungle is so strange! He kept following the sitter today, but wouldn't let him pet him! Delilah was very affectionate though, and the fish were just happy to get fed.

Miles: Macy wanted out back today, but the sitter said she's have to wait until our people got back! I told her he wouldn't let her outside! I don't want out though! I just want to be petted, and then play some, and then get some more petting! And treats too! Yum!

Savannah: Victory didn't trust the sitter because he smelled like dogs! I wasn't afraid though! I was hungry! Once we warmed up to the sitter we let him pet us some, but Victory was still a little nervous around him! He said I'm gonna smell like a dog now!

Libby: I sat in the window so the sitter could find the house tonight! He let me out back and Alice and I ran all around the yard! Alice went inside to get some attention from the sitter, but I didn't want back in for a long time! Abby came back inside when I did! She must have been hungry!

Nina: When the sitter came in today we both crowded around him to say hello. We both began sniffing him and then out of nowhere, I started to headbutt Jackson. The sitter would pet me every now and then but I kept dodging his pets and smacking jackson with my head, haha. The sitter said that I was a weird kitty.
Jackson: After we got some attention from the sitter, he scooped out our boxes and made sure our water and food was ok. I was talking to him the whole time, pretty loudly actually. I just wanted some attention (which I got from him) ...and for Nina to stop headbutting me!

Crunch: The sitter said he could hear me whining fro his attention as soon as he entered the door. He opened the door to the back porch and gave me all the attention that I desired! We got some food and then the sitter played with us for a little bit before putting us into the garage where we'd be safe from all the fireworks!
Hamilton: Sometimes I wish Crunch would calm down a little bit! You'd think the guy had never seen a person before! I'm only kidding. I get excited too (just not quite as excited as him). We got our dinner and then when the sitter put us into the garage he gave us each a piece of cheese to munch on...kind of tasted like there were some pills hidden in there, though...

Jiggy: When the sitter showed up, I was the first one to say hello. I went right into rubbing up on his leg because I knew that gets humans to give you stuff! It worked, he gave me lots of scratches on my head and then gave me some food!
George: The sitter went around and pet each one of us to say hello. He gave me a good brushing and that really got my purr motor going! I hope he comes back and does that some more!
Misty: I walked around and investigated what the sitter was doing while he was here. I watched him scoop the boxes and then followed him around frot he rest of the time he was here. I took a small break for some food but I kept my eye on him while I ate!
Spook: The sitter never saw me, I was being a really good hider tonight. Even after he put down all that very tempting wet food, I still held my ground!

Duke: The sitter told me that I was a really good boy. I already knew that! He took me out for a nice walk tonight. It's getting colder outside and i wonder if it'll actually stay that way? I didn't poop on my walk even though we were out there for a while, I hope that won't come back to haunt me later! When we got back inside, the kitties wanted in on some of the action so he gave them lots of attention too.

Abby, Libby, Alice & Squeezy: I am so clever. When the sitter let the dogs out I hid in between them and ran out thwarting the sitters plans to keep me inside. I played with Libby and Alice in the backyard for a bit, then went spelunking. I'll be back though!

Sarah, Bonnie & Cassie: Mmm. Delicious green bean dog food mush! My absolute favorite. Cassie and Bonnie and I gobbled down our breakfast and Bonnie and I each took our meds. Then we all went outside to play. Later, the sitter made us such a delicious dinner. I wanted seconds but he wouldn't give me any. The sitter was all excited about tonight being the last night of the year or something. Very strange. We all agree.

LC & Indie: Today I surprised the sitter. As soon as he came in I jumped on him. Well, I didn;t end up on him, I missed because of his ninja skills. He pet me fort a long time though so I felt better.

Beemer: The sitter surprised me when he came in. I ran around barking at him. Then I realized who he was. Once he let Bruschi out we had a ball playing in the backyard.

Ally: Today I had a surprise visit from a sitter. He was just checking on me to make sure I had everything I needed. He cleaned my litter box so well, I can't wait to use it.

Ultra: I was so happy to see the sitter. Spike and I have been watching the day get more and more beautiful and we were very eager to go for our walk.

Kaiser: The sitter came and let me in. Just in time too. It's that time of the year again when all the bangs go off. I don't like them very much at all. The sitter comforted me and then I ate some wonderful dinner.

Bruschi: Poor Beemer. The sitter let us outside to play. But an explosion went off in the sky. I got excited, but Beemer ran inside scared. The sitter and I tried to calm her, and eventually she was ok.

Rufus: Tonight on my walk the sitter and I heard fireworks off in the distance. He told me I have to make a New Years resolution. I think this year I will perfect my singing bark.

Aspen: I was ready to go on my walk. As soon as the sitter opened the gate, I took off. I didn't get far cause of the leash and all but I was anxious to start walking. I stayed in the lead the whole time and everytime I stopped, Jackson would run up to me to investigate.
Jackson: The sitter had a hard time getting my harness on. Not because it was tricky but because he's a stranger and I was a little bit skittish around him. He let me know that he was a nice guy and so I warmed up to him. On our walk, Aspen likes to hold up the front likes while I like to fall back and enjoy the scenery.
