6/30.Maggie:I love playing with my ball! I never get tired of it. Even if the sitter threw it a dogzillion times I would still get it and bring it back.
6/30.Maggie&Caesar:I wanted all of the sitter's attention. But he said Caesar and Belia needed some too. I still jumped all over him, I want all the love!
6/30.Coal&Maggie:A nice long walk with Maggie and the sitter left me feeling refreshed and a bit thirsty. After gulping that water I dove into my dinner. Mmmmm.
6/30.Lucky:I love chasing my squeak ball all over the backyard. The sitter made it squeak while it was in the air and I just went crazy after it. Throw it again

June 29, 2009

Bunny: We both were rubbing up against the sitter today and needed lots of attention! We also desperately needed treats! Yum!

Calin: I talked to the sitter so much today! He sat down with us and pet us for a while! Purr! The sitter should just lay here all day like us! It's great!

Maggie: We went for a walk this morning, before it was too hot to go for one! Caesar actually made it pretty far before he turned back, but we did have to go at his speed! I didn't have a problem with that though! I was just happy to be outside!

Beila: I was beating up on Maggie today! It didn't phase him though! I'm still too little!

Princess: The sitter's here! He's gonna pet us a lot and get us fresh water! -Smokey
It was so nice to get some attention from the sitter! I only wanted a little bit though! Then I went back to the window!

Magnificat: The sitter's back and he pet me for a little bit, and then I started rubbing against everything! I want to make it all smell like me! -Eli
I got my fill of petting from the sitter, and then I had some business to attend to under the couch!

Millie: After I had enough food, I tried to convince the sitter to let me in the house! He says I should stay out though since my food is outside! I guess he's right!

Figero: I greeted the sitter and he made me purr and then, after some begging, he busted out the wet food! Yum!

Roxy, Junior, Skittle, and Mikey: Everybody greeted the sitter warmly today! We like her especially since she feeds us!! When she left the bird room she was even told " see u later"!!!! She is excited to go back and play with all.

Silo: The walk was fun this morning! It wasn't too hot yet and we had the sidwalks to ourselves! There were lots of new things to sniff. When we got back we gulped down some fresh water. I can't wait for my people to get home!

Miles: Oh boy! The sitter! We went on a nice walk today after which I ate a delicious breakfast. We had a nice visit with the sitter before he left full of scratching and belly rubbing! What more could a dog ask for?

Snuggles: I was sound asleep when the sitter came. He opened the gat, walked up to me, and scratched me behind the ears before I even woke up! Boy was I surprised. After I woke up all the way, we went for a very nice walk right before it started getting really hot.

Tank: I didn't want to go for a walk today and that was that! I sat down on the sidewalk and said 'no way!' Instead of the walk the sitter and I went outside and played. We had a nice visit and he rubbed my belly untill I nearly fell asleep!

Billy: I was very discontented with watching the sitter water the plants and not show me his undivided attention. I was sure to express my discontent by meowing at the glass so that the sitter was reminded that I was still there. I think he noticed.

Snowflake: I was sound asleep when the sitter came in. It wasn't untill He sat next to me that I woke up. We went for a nice walk, too bad it was so hot today. The sun was bright and the pavement was hot on my paws so we walked more in the grass.

Yogi: The walk was fun today! I was extra energetic. My favorite part is always right before the elevator door opens I get ready to burst out of it to see if anyone was there. I always walk faster on the way back home, probably because I know thats where the treats are!
6/30.Jack:I was all awake and ready for my walk today! The sitter prepared my lunch and then we went out. When we got back my lunch was perfectly mushy.
6/30.Maggie&Coal:Maggie, urban explorer dog here checking in. We got to pick the path today and saw some wonderful new things. I love sniffing out something new

Monday, June 29, 2009

6/29.Maggie:I am a little rocket dog jetting over the sidewalks at incredible speeds. I think I broke the bark barrier tonight!
6/29.Caesar&Maggie:The sitter came and fed all of us dinner then we went and played outside. I kept jumping on the sitter and dancing with him.
6/29.Calin,Cody&Calico:We were so full of conversation today sitting in our tower watching the sitter make dinner. And dinner was so purrrrrrrfect!
6/29.Coal&Maggie:Maggie and I snuck the ball out of the room on our walk. But the sitter wasn't mad. Instead everytime we reached a square we played with it.
6/29.Tank:I decided to go walking with the sitter. It was really hot but I really wanted treats. As soon as he ran out of treats, my butt started dragging.
6/29.Maggie:Hurray! I thought I had lost my ball but the sitter and I found it right under the couch. He threw it many times for me and I kept bringing it back.
6/29.Bailey&Jasmine:It's super hot outside today but running around and sniffing everything is just so much fun. The heat got us all eventually and we went home
6/29.Jack:A hot day with a warm breeze, both the sitter and I were sweating. It still felt nice to stretch my legs. I had a few delicious carrots with my lunch.
6/28.Maggie&Coal:Today on our walk Coal and I found a trash bag filled with goodies. The sitter threw it away though and now I'm looking forward to dinner more.
6/29.Raven&Cooper:What a great morning to run! Cooper and I are so much faster and charming with our nice haircuts. I think the sitter needs a haircut too.

June 28, 2009

Roxy and junior: I was told to not stick my fingers in the cage but I wasn't expecting them to reach and grab the plastic cup that was a few inches away in my hand. They are imaginative in what they try to get away with.

Skittle and Mikey: We hid behind the hot tub -boy is it hot out!

June 28, 2009

Silo: Oh boy! Another walk! It was nice and cool for our walk today even though we could feel that it was going to be hot today. We had the sdewalks to ourselves and had a great time sniffing around for what other dogs left behind!

Miles: I enjoyed the walk this morning. It was early so there weren't any people or dogs to interfere with our glorious morning. There where even a few kitties along the way that Silo and I had a fun time scaring awa while the sitter wasn't watching.

Caesar: I was taking a nice nap when the sitter came and didn't notice that he was in the house. When I got out of my kennel I came up and said hello in a perfectly slow fashion. He gave me a good scratch behind the ears and topped off my food. What more could I want?

Maggie: I was very excited to see the sitter today. We had a fun time playing together. When I wasn't playing with the sitter I was playing with Beila. She sure was read to play today, even mor than I was if you can believe that!

Beila: I had fun playing with the sitter today. I didn't really understand this whole petting concept. Every time the sitter stuck out his hand I assumed that he wanted to play and started wrestling with his hand. I had fun playing with Maggie's tail too!

Tucker: I was excited to see the sitter today. I ran around thw whole time with my tennis ball. I didn't want to let the sitter have it at firs but then I realized that he just wanted to throw it for me and we had a great time playing fetch outside!

Gyro: I was very happy to be let out of my kennel today. We had a great time visiting and then it was time to go play outside. I didn't want to play fetch. Instead, I went and explored the far corners of our yard. Which if you ask me is a lot of fun for a dog!

Beemer: Oh boy! The sitter's here again! We had a nice time visiting today. Me and the sitter played fetch while Bruschi sniffed around. It sure was hot today. I had a nice big drink of water when I got inside. Ahhhh...

Bruschi: Yes, the sitters here! It was hot today so Beemer and I didn't want to play outside for too long. We had a nice time visiting inside though where it was nice and cool. At least there's plenty of water for us to drink. Oh boy! Treat time!

Maggie: Yes! The sitter's here! I ran around in circles with excitement until it was time to go for a walk. The sitter found it somewhat difficult to put on my harness while I was spinning in circles. We had a fun walk, I just with it wasn't quite so hot out today!

Jackie: I was extra friendly today! Which was good because Bunny wasn't as social! But he did enjoy playing! I wish the sitter could stay here and pet me all day! Oh well! He'll be back tonight!

Bunny: The sitter spent some quality couch time with me tonight! Purr! Thanks! I really needed a good amount of petting tonight!

Snuggles: It's so hot out! Luckily the sitter came by and fed me and gave me a bunch of cold water! And then we went for an awesome walk!

Magnificat: I made an appearance today and greeted the sitter when he came in! I was real affectionate for a few minutes and hungry too! But then I'd had enough and I ran and hid under the bed! The sitter can pet Eli for a while now! Eli will love that!

Princess: I was real curious about the sitter as soon as he got in! He gave us a lot of attention, and we appreciated that! We're such friendly cats! -Smokey
The sitter scratched my back while I looked out the window! Now that's service! Purr!

Figero: Meow! It's time for you to feed us Mr. Sitter! We're starving, even though our bowls are full of dry food! We're starving for wet food! Purr! Thanks! That was good! I'll be going now!

Bailey: I was real excited to go for a walk today! I kept trying to run ahead, but Jasmine is too slow! It was way hot out though, so after a little while I was walking at her speed! Can't wait to get back in and have some water!

Calin: The sitter was surprised that I wanted so much attention today! Usually I'm just talkative! But today Cody and the sitter and I just sat on the floor while he pet us! Purr!

Calico: I'm not coming out to eat until the sitter is gone! But I'm so happy there's some fresh warm wet food for me to eat!

Maggie: I was so crazy tonight! I was jumping on everything and running in circles and yum... food...

Caesar: That young one is too wild! The sitter had to hold him back so he could pet me!

Beila: I had to keep Maggie in check tonight! I kept jumping on her and biting her and attacking her tail, but nothing seemed to get her attention! Oh well... I'll just play with these curtains then!

Josie: I was so incredibly happy to see the sitter tonight! I had to jump for five minutes before I would eat! Summer was getting impatient because she really wanted to go out for a walk!

Summer: I devoured my food then we went for a walk, but Josie wanted back in pretty soon so the sitter and I finished the walk alone! Frogs everywhere!

June 27, 2009

Mimi: We were so happy to see the sitter this morning! And he was happy to see us too! He says pugs are his favorite kind of dog! Woohoo! When he came back at night I was so crazy! I ran circles around him so fast he couldn't even pet me, and there was no chance of him calming me down! I'm just too wild!

Roxy: I love chicken!

Jackie: The sitter gave us a visit early this morning! Bunny was real happy to see him, but since I'm an old girl I wasn't as excited. But it was nice getting a little back scratch!

Bunny: Jackie was real excited about getting wet food tonight, but I was more interested in the treats! They're so delicious! Jackie can have my wet food if I can have her treats!

Maggie: When the sitter came over this morning we played so much fetch and tug-of-war! I have so much energy! I slept until he came back in the afternoon and we went for a good walk, but it was so hot I just laid down under a tree after a few minutes! I had tons of energy at night though! I didn't want to stop walking! And I even got to run with the sitter some! My lightning speed surprised him!

Cairo: Purr! I'm so happy to have someone who will scratch my back! He gave us plenty of food and water for the rest of the weekend too! But wait Mr. Sitter! Before you clean the litter, I have to put something else in first!

Anna Belle: The sitter thinks my tail is awesome!

Millie: As soon as the sitter opened the door I ran inside! It's nice and cool in here! But once he fed us I wanted to stay outside! Purr! This stuff is delicious!

Tucker: It's fetch time! It's pretty hot out, but I always have enough energy to play ball!

Gyro: It was nice to get outside today! I just laid down and enjoyed the sun while crazy Tucker ran all over!

Toby: I was very shy today and ran and hid from the sitter when he came. I was very sneaky, I kept moving around while he was looking for me. My plans were finally foiled when the sitter found me under the bathtub. At least now it's dinner time! PM I ran and hid again but the sitter didn't take as long to find me this time. I didn't really want to eat anything tonight but the sitter was insistent. I suppose it will be nice not to be hungry in the middle of the night.

Lulu: Oh boy! The sitter's here! I was very happy to see the sitter today, I got to follow him around and help him find Toby who was hiding. Silly Toby, doesn't he know that it's time for him to eat. I would never miss a meal. PM: Oh boy, It's the sitter again! We had a nice visit tonight with lots of petting and the such. This was of course after dinner as nothing is more important than getting dinner right away when the sitter comes, or at least I think so.

Bruschi: I was excited to see the sitter today. We had a nice time visiting and then we got to have lots of fun outside! Fun outside for me was mostly nosing around my yard looking for foreign smells. I did think about digging a couple of times but the sitter was watching. PM: It was a little cooler tonight which was nice. Me and Beemer had fun chasing each other around outside. It felt nice to run around after having been inside all day. Dinner was delicious too! Mmmmmmm...

Beemer: Today was fun! When the sitter got here we had a nice time visiting with lots of back scratches and belly rubs. Then, we got to go play outside! Breakfast was delicious this morning. Dogfood is my favorite after all! PM: We went out to play outside again tonight! Bruschi and I had a fun time chasing each other around. I also had fun playing fetch with the sitter. That is to say, the sitter would throw the ball and I would catch it... but not bring it back.

Cody: I was very happy to see the sitter as usual. We had a nice time visiting and I was sure to rub up against the sitter's legs the entire time he was there. He even opened the blinds for us so we could enjoy the bright sunny day outside from the comfort of the cool house! PM: I sure had something to say tonight. I followed the sitter around meowing at him all about it the entire time he was here. I don't think he understood what I was trying to say but he understood that I was talking about something very inmportant... important to cats anyway...

Calin: I was taking a catnap when the sitter came in. I didn't particuarly feel the need to get up and say hello which turned out alright because the sitter came to me. I said hello and then went back to sleep. Zzzzzzz. PM: I was waiting for the sitter on the highest perch of my climbing structure. I enjoy overseeing my kingdom to make sure my subjects are doing as they should. The sitter seemed to be feeding me dinner. I suppose I can approve of this. Mmmmm...

Calico: I was scared as usual and ran away when the sitter cam into my room. Im sure he means well but I am just scared to death of strangers! Maybe someday I'll warm up to him... Maybe. PM: Nothing different with the plan tonight. I ran away, I waited untill the coast was clear, and then I enjoyed my delicious dinner. Im glad the sitter feeds me, I just wish he could do it without coming into my room.

Gizmo: I was excited to see the sitter today. I was waiting for him by the door ready to say hello with a big happy 'meow'. It was nice to have someone to visit with after having the house be so empty. I cant wait for him to come next time, I'll be sure to be ready to say hello again!

Gadget: Both Gizmo and I ran up and said hello to the sitter. We had a nice visit with lost of petting and back scratching! And on top of it all, we got some delicious dinner! What more could a kitty ask for?

Billy: I had a bone to pick with the sitter and I was sure to let him know. I started telling him all about it as he came in. Unfortunatly he didn't understand and just assumed I was hungry. One of these days people will understand me and then they will realize that I was talking about some pretty important stuff!

Silo: Yay! The sitter's here! We had a nice visit with the sitter tonight and then we went on an awesome walk! There was lots of stuff to sniff and there were even a few cats for us to bark at. I love it when cats run by, if only I wasn't on a leash.

Miles: I was very happy to see the sitter tonight. We went for a fun walk tonight. I spent lots of time sniffing around and sure enough there were lots of new smells that wern't there before. Good thing I checked!

June 26, 2009

Lulu: I spotted the sitter out the window, then when he got inside I followed him all over! He was nice enough to pet me for a while, and give us some delicious food!

Toby: I refused to eat at first tonight, so the sitter followed me around trying to get me to eat my dinner and take my pills! I just want to be pet! But he insisted that I eat and once he followed me upstairs with my bowl I started getting hungry and chowed down on my dinner!

Silo & Miles: We bombarded the sitter when he came in tonight! We're so excited for a walk! And we got to go to the dog park for a while! We ran wild in there! Now we can't stop panting! We're gonna sleep good tonight!

Bruschi: The sitter's here! I was so excited to run around outside! The kitty wasn't too happy to see me though! And Beemer must have forgotten who the sitter was, because she was a little timid when he first got here! But as soon as she was outside she was running around with a big smile on her face like me!
6/29.Maggie:Morning walks are so nice. Everything is waking up and the park is empty. The sitter and I ran around all over the park. It was ours.

Sunday, June 28, 2009

6/28.Maggie:It cooled down nicely for my evening walk. We went to the park and I got to play in the grass. Then we went home and I got tucked in for the night.
6/28.Silo&Miles:We were so happy when the sitter got here this evening. We performed a doggie walktime dance shuffle to show our enthusiasm.
Gadget: yay the sitter is here! We talked and played I ran around when she got out the treats. Gizmo was hiding in the bedroom until the treats were out.
Of the time.
Toby: I hid on top of the fridge til I heard it was food time.
Lulu: I had lots to talk about. Me and the sitter had a great time together.
Calin& Cody: we met the sitter at the door and talked to her until breakfast was ready. Then we relaxed and got pets.
Calico: I was a little scared. I hid most
Beemer & bruschi: we were so happy to see our sitter! She let us run and play in the yard. We had fun chasing each other. Then we got our breakfast.

Saturday, June 27, 2009

6/27.Silo&Miles:I love quiet morning walks to the park with the sitter and my buddy Silo. The park was busy this morning with dogs and their people.

Friday, June 26, 2009

6/26.Maggie:I had tons of fun with the sitter! We went to the park for a stroll and I made a friend that was little just like me. I nibbled on the sitter too!
6/26.Calin,Cody&Calico:Cody and Calin were talking up a storm to the sitter. I didn't say anything. I just let the servant... Er sitter take care of everything.
6/26.Jack:All I wanted to do was sleep. But the sitter said it was time to stretch my legs and get some fresh air. Plus he made dinner for me so I had to get up
6/26.Maggie&Coal:It sprinkled today during our walk. It felt so good to cool off for a little. When we got back both Coal and I devoured our dinners.
6/26.Tank:I was such a big brave boy out in the thunder! Once that rain started though, it was time to go home and get lunch.
6/26.Coal&Maggie:Today was extra special! The sitter ran with us around the park after our walk. It felt so great, then we rolled the ball back and forth.

June 25, 2009

Calin: I was feeling social today. I was waiting by the door when the sitter came n and promptly received the best back scratch of my life. Maybe I'll greet the sitter at the door more often.

Calico: Oh no! Not again! As usual I ran and hid from the sitter, and as usual, He brought me a delicious dinner which I ate.... as soon as I was sure it was safe.

Cody: Oh boy, sitter! I was my usual lazy/friendly self today. I made sure to fully exploit the endless petting I received from the sitter.

Sam: Oh boy, a walk in the park today was fun, the sitter accidentally took a detour home from the park. There was lots of fun stuff to smell.

Lily: Both Sam and I were extra excited for the walk today! There were lots of other dogs to look at and more stuff to sniff than ever! What a great day!

Boogie: I was shy today, I hid behind the washer and waited until the other cats showed one that it was safe. At least I don't have to take any of that gross medicine.

Bootsy: mmmm.... medicine, my favorite! The sitter was fun today, after my meds I got a nice long personal back scratching session! How delightful!

Evan: Oh boy! Lasers! One of these days I will capture the evil red dot. One day I will open my power to see it resting peacefully there, one day....

Maggie: I was so excited to see the sitter today! We went outside and played with a tennis ball for a while and then we went for one awesome walk! It's great being a dog!
6/26.Colby:Yay! It stopped raining! The sitter came and we an around town for a bit. I could feel all of my extra Colby just melting away. A great workout!
6/26.Silo&Miles:It was very wet outside today. But Silo and I had so much fun walking to park and running around that it didn't even matter.
6/26.Sam&Lily:The sitter came and we got right into workout mode. We did a little chiseling if you know what I mean. Sam and I will be so healthy and fit!

Thursday, June 25, 2009

6/25.Silo:I wanted to bring my chew bone with me on the walk today but Mr. Sitter said I might lose it. So I left it for when I got back. I love my chew bone.
6/25.Jack:I love my warm evening walks with the sitter. Not too much heat and a nice soft dinner when I get back... What dog could complain with that?
6/25.Coal:It took me a little, but once I started eating I gulped it all down. Well except for the few stray pieces I threw to Maggie every so often.
6/25.Maggie:O boy! Another hot dog day. Coal and I made sure to drink plenty of water so we wouldn't get roasted. Those sidewalks are hot on doggy toes.

June 24, 2009

Oliver: I was very excited to see the sitter today! I jumped up and down and up and down until we went for a walk. The walk was fun, even though it was hot.

Chelsea: The walk was fun today! I got to sniff everything a long the way and watched Oliver chew his leash. Oliver kept wanting to walk really fast but I said "no way" and set a slower pace.

Sams: Today's walk was fun! I got to explore every nook and cranny in every sidewalk. The sitter and Lily didn't want to stop as much, good thing there are more walks to come.

Lily: The walk was nice today. There was a little dog across the street today who thought he would be all tough and bark at us. We had a short barking dispute. Pretty sure Sam and I won!

Harmon: I wasn't quite as social as I usually am today, until the sitter came up and visits with me. Boy do I love a good scratch behind the ears.

Daisy: I was extra shy today! I hid under the bed when the sitter came up, after I saw that everything was fine and we were going for a walk I perked up! The walk was fun and I was glad to get a treat when it was all over.

Wilson: I was pretty shy when the sitter came today. Once I saw the leash though I perked right up. We went for a awesome walk where I got to sniff every bush and mailbox. The sitter had fun visiting with the kitties too.

Raven: The sitter arrived today and we were both very ready to get out there on our run! It's much easier now that we go in the morning. It's much cooler and we get more out of it. And you know us, we love a good workout!

Cooper: The sitter's first order of business was to compliment us on our dapper new haircuts! They made us much more aerodynamic for running. During the run, I almost pooped on the road again! It turned out to be a false alarm but, seriously...what's with that!?

Boots: When the sitter arrived, I was waiting for him on top of the sofa. I said hello to him and rubbed up against his leg while he walked into the kitchen. He gave me my medicine and, as usual, I took it like a champ!

Boogie: I was watching the sitter the whole time and keeping a close eye on him. Of course I demanded some attention from him. He made sure we had lots of food and water. he scooped our our boxes really good so they're nice and clean

Big Boy: As usual, I was the only one who wanted to say hello to the sitter. I spent the whole time out on the back porch laying in a sun spot. Even though it's hot out there, Kitties don't care. they take any warmth they can get! it's going to be a lazy day!

Niffy: We were both right at the front door to say hello to the sitter. We were both getting good kitty scratches from him until Eli decided to jump up on me and run me off :( I know he's just playing but I'm just not used to him yet!

Eli: The sitter made sure we had plenty of food and he gave us fresh water. He scooped our our litter boxes and then he played with me! He tried to get Niffy to play with us but I accidentally scared her under the couch...I didn't mean to :(

Chelsea: The sitter came over and Oliver was going nuts! I was excited to see the sitter but not like he was. Anyways, he got us all set and took us out for our walk. It was a hot one out there so by the time we got back, we were definitely ready!

Oliver: Hey! The sitter is here! I'm going to run around and give the sitter hugs! Are we going outside now? Great! I'm going to go potty and chew on my leash and smell things and run around and get the sitter tangled in my leash! So many things to do when we go outside!

Coal: Hello Mr. Sitter! Let's go for a walk! I'm ready to go pee on a historic battlefield! Then we can come back and play ball!

Maggie: When the sitter came back this afternoon he hooked us up with a delicious meal! Apparently Coal didn't appreciate it enough because he had to be convinced to eat! Not me though!

Jack: I was happy to see my bowl full of food today! But first I licked all the peanut butter from my bone! I love peanut butter! Then we went for a pretty long walk until I decided it was time for me to come back and see if I missed some peanut butter!

Calico: The sitter spotted me! Ah! Luckily I have this big couch to hide behind!

Cody: I'm so friendly! I just hung around the sitter the whole time he was here! He carried me around and gave me some good petting! I'm glad the other two don't want much attention! More for me!

Boots: It's my favorite time of the day! Medicine time! I'm glad it's over though! Time to chase that red dot!

Oliver: This sitter hasn't seen us in a while! He was surprised I'm so much skinnier than last time he saw me! We got some treats and then we went out to run them off!

Chelsea: It's so much cooler than this afternoon! I'm happy about that, because we went for a long walk and I had tons of energy!

Yogi: I was busy rolling around in the grass today...I don't know what came over me! Sitter said maybe there was a dead bug because I kept sniffing the particular spot.

Billy: I yelled at the sitter to sit down so I could lay in her lap. Once she sat down I stopped talking!
6/25.Silo&Miles:Today my business came with a wrapper. Don't ask, I'm as shocked as Silo and the sitter. Ah, the mysteries of a dog's diet.
6/25:Lily&Sam:We went the other way around the park today. It made the run feel so fresh, Sam and I both kept up a good fast pace.

Wednesday, June 24, 2009

6/24.Silo&Miles:What a beautiful evening we have to enjoy a walk with the sitter. It rained so hard today but it was all gone by the time we went out.

June 23, 2009

Tank: Way too hot for me to go for a walk today! So we went in the backyard instead! It's much cooler! We played some fetch for a few minutes, and I took care of some business, then went back inside to cool down and eat dinner! My favorite part of the day!

Boots: We were all really friendly tonight! Even Boogie came out for some attention! The sitter gave me some more of that medicine too! I don't mind the taste, I just don't like having it force fed to me! But I was still really good about it! Purr! I'm such a nice cat!

Calin: I had a long conversation with the sitter tonight! I just had a lot to say! I didn't want to be petted much though! Cody can have all the petting for me! He enjoys it more!

Calico: The sitter's here! Woohoo! I was so hungry and my bowl was empty! The sitter came and saved the day with some wet food! This stuff is delicious!

Cody: I didn't even get up while the sitter was here. I just stayed on the bed where I was perfectly happy continuing my catnap. Breakfast can wait.

Lily: We went for a fun walk today! I tried to eat a leftover chicken bone but the sitter caught me. Too bad, I bet it would have been yummy!

Sams: Boy was it hot today! The walk was fun, lily wanted to go a little faster but I was really hot. At least there was a nice bucket of fresh water waiting for me at home!

Billy: It was kind of boring to watch the sitter water the plants today, So I made sure that he could hear me meowing at him from outside. I took a nice nap on the sitters lap. After wards I had shedded so much I turned his black shirt orange.

Snowflake: The sitter came in so quietly today that I didn't wake up from my afternoon nap. We visited for a while and then went on a nice walk. Whew, it's hot out there for a dog.

Tuesday, June 23, 2009

6/23.Oliver@Chelsea:The sitter came and took us on a grand adventure around the neighborhood. We fought giant toads and geckos along the way. It was great!
6/23.Oliver@Chelsea:The sitter came and took us on a grand adventure around the neighborhood. We fought giant toads and geckos along the way. It was great!
6/23.Josie&Summer:I can tell that something is in those trees! Come out! Josie and I wanted to chase it but we decided a walk was better idea.
6/23.Jack:I love the feel of warm grass between my toes, so invigorating. I also love coming back to a delicious and nutritious bowl of my favorite food.
6/23.Coal:The sitter walked Maggie and I through some beautiful squares today. There were so many flowers and bushes to investigate. I had a ball!
6/23.Maggie: The streets were so busy with people today. Coal and I got so many compliments about how pretty we are. We almost floated home on our egos. Teehee.

June 22, 2009

Sam: We were very excited to see the sitter! We went for a nice walk where I got to sniff everything a long the way. It as kind of hard to keep up with Lily tho. She was always in the lead!

Lily: We went on a great walk today. There where lots of three stumps to explore and strangers to look at. Boy was I thirsty when we got back!

Calico: I was too shy to come out and play today. The sitter left me a delicious breakfast and I was just fine with eating while he was in the other room. Maybe next time I'll visit.

Cody: I was napping on the bed when the sitter came in. We had a nice visit and I enjoyed getting my back scratched! After we visits it was mealtime!

Calin: I was a little to shy to come out and play today! Instead of visiting with the sitter I had fun watching the great outdoors through the window! I could do this all day.

Billy: I didn't hear the sitter come in at first. It wasn't until he called me that I came out to visit. I was very hungry and made sure that the sitter knew exactly how hungry I was. He got the picture and fed me a delicious tuna meal.

Snowflake: The walk was fun today! I made sure to stop and visit every mailbox a long the way. When we got back I had a nice time visiting with the sitter, and then I got a yummy treat!

Yogi: I got to show off my new haircut to the sitter today! It sure was nice not having all that hair on the walk today. It was hot!! I tried to go play in the flower gardens but the sitter thought that would be a bad idea.

That red dot is back! I literally ran up the walls trying to catch it, but it got away again! -Evan
I hope the sitter pets me all day! I am so friendly! I really needed that neck scratching! He said I needed my medication too, but I didn't enjoy that as much! -Bootsy
Ah! The sitter found me hiding next to the washing machine! I need a new hiding spot!-Boogie

Ei: I was climbing all over the counter to get the sitter's attention! He says I'm the friendliest cat he's ever met and he pet me for a long time!

Magnificat: The sitter came over and gave me some attention! It was nice for a minute and after that I let him give Eli a bunch of attention and I just hid under the couch! He tried to convince me to go out on the back porch, but it's too hot out!

Big Boy: I was lounging in the sun room when the sitter got here and I came in to say 'hello' and make sure he gave us plenty of food! He did! I'll be eating that later! Now I just need a little neck scratching and some Greenies! Delicious!

Snowball: Ah! The sitter came in and surprised me while I was up on the counter sniffing around at all these cat food cans! I gotta go hide under the bed!
6/23.Oliver&Chelsea:The sitter took us on a nice quiet walk this morning and I found a toad. It hopped so fast! I wish I could do that.

Monday, June 22, 2009

6/22.Oliver&Chelsea:As soon as we had our leashes on I pulled on mine and ran around with excitement. Chelsea wasn't as excited but we both had so much fun.
6/22.Evan,Boots&Boogie:Boots let the sitter give him all his medicine without any fuss at all! Then we chased that mischeivous red light all over the place.
6/22.Cody,Calin&Calico:Calin and I had a deep conversation with the sitter today but I am not so sure if he can understand cat logic. Its very advanced.
6/22.Sam&Lily:I almost jumped to the sky with excitement! Its running time for Lily and I and after that is my favorite time. Dinner time!
6/22.Jack:I was napping when the sitter arrived. We went out for a little stroll and some business and then I came back to finish those Zs I started.
6/22.Coal:Maggie and I were like kids in a candy shop. Everything had a smell and we wanted to small everything. The best smell of all was dinner though.
6/22.Maggie:It's a hot windy day today and we are more than ready for a little sight seeing. I rolled all over in the grass it felt so good outside.

June 20, 2009

Annabelle: Yay! the sitter's here! We went for a nice walk today. I got to sniff everything a long the way and when we got back I got a nice long back scratch and belly rub. The sitter came back for a mid day walk, which was a little hotter than it was this morning so I was nice and thirsty by the time we got back.

Elephant:I was a little more excited to see the sitter than Chicken was. I jumped up and down and ran back and forth. We went for a nice walk.

Chicken: The walk was fun today. I even got to bark at one of the neighbor dogs. I guess I sure showed them who the best dog in the neighborhood is! When we got back it was time for treats.

Annabelle the Westie: I was sooooo excited to see the sitter. I bounced around my crate until he let me out and then I ran in circles around him. We had a fun time playing and dinner was delicious!

Cody: I was the nly one who came out to say hello to the sitter. We had a nice visit. I enjoyed getting my back scratched. Dinner was good too!

Calin: It took me a while to come and eat dinner, but once I did. I let the sitter pet me. We had a nice visit. I can't wait for him to come back.

Calico: I was very shy today. When the sitter came into the den I ran and hid behind the couch. I'm sure that he was nice though, the food he left me sure was delicious.

6/21.Savannah:Ooo! There are so many little bugs flying around me. They must think I'm tasty. That's what I get for being such a sweet little dog.
6/21.Maddie:An older gal like me likes a little water in her dry food. Just to soften it up a little, I do still like a little crunch to my food. Mmm...
6/21.Big Boy,Snowball,Snowflake: Why am I always the one out here with the sitter? Because a big boy like me loves treats. Keep hiding, more for me.
6/21.Max:Outside outside outside!!! Thats where I want to go Mr. Sitter. Let me take you for a little walk this time.
6/21.Chicken&Elephant:Wowzy is it hot out today! Chicken and I better drink plenty of water or it might be fried chicken and elephant on the menu tonight.
6/21.Cody,Calin&Calico:We were all in napland when the sitter came and served breakfast. Its sunday, a day to sleep in late.

Friday, June 19, 2009

6/19.Calin,Cody&Calico:There is nothing better than clean litter, delicious wet foods, and scratches all over. No complaints here.
6/19.Jack:The sitter and I took a nice shady stroll under the trees. Mmm... Dinner with a peanut butter bone... Delicious!
6/19:Maggie&Coal:We are such hot dogs today! It is sizzling out on these Savannah streets. Once we got back inside we were back to being the coolest dogs.
Annabelle: I did a little dance when the sitter came today. I was so excited to go outside. We went to the little park and ran around.
Lily and Sam: We had frisbee in our poo today. Guess our tummies don't like frisbee as much as we do.
Colby: My walk left me a tad sleepy, time for a nap colby-style.

June 18, 2009

Chicken and Elephant: Its raining out there! so yucky! It feels great outside though! Our favorite thing is jumping all over the sitters lap and fighting over who gets petted the most! Our barking wasn't as much as it has been...we are used to seeing her now.

Snowflake: The ground is wet! But that is okay because it isn't as hot as it has been! I had a lot of "business" to take care of and new smells to find.

Lily: Sam is just crazy about that tennis ball! I don't understand why he is so pudgy...moves around more than I do!

Sam: So much out there to sniff with the rain...didn't find any random treats out there, too bad! I played fetch some too...I really love my tennis ball!

Thomas: We had some stuff from the shelf on the floor again...we are just having so much fun! Everything excites me....eating and just following the sitter around is fun...hehe!

Billy: I didn't have that much to say to the sitter when she walked in but she sat down and I laid in her lap telling her stories. I eventually got up to eat some yummy tuna!

Hammer: It was dark in the house this morning so when the sitter came I couldn't see who it was. Once I realized it was him I stopped barking and ran up to get my morning tummy-rub. Ahhh.

Beggar: This is the the life! I get to just lie down and let the sitter bring me everything I want. After I got my treat today the sitter gave me a nice back scratch.

Harmon: It was a bit to rainy outside today for me to go out and play. Instead, I got to follow the sitter around while he got food for me and daisy. I also had fun sitting on his notepad while he was writing.

Daisy: I was excited for the sitter today! I was waiting for him in the front room when he came in so we could go for a walk right away. On the walk, a big mean lab came out and tried to scare me. Good thing m y sitter was there to protect me.

Yogi: I was even more excited than usual to see the sitter today! He knew I was excited because he felt me thump against the door while he was trying to unlock it. We went for a nice walk today, I was super thirsty when we got back!

Maggie: It's my birthday! And what does a big birthday girl need on her birthday? A big birthday walk! So Coal and the sitter and I took a nice long walk around Savannah. Today has been awesome so far, maybe a few birthday rolls with the ball?

Jack: I was so sleepy when Mr. Sitter got here. Once I was out at my favorite tree and had a little relief I was as perky as a possum. I think I saw a possum too, and he was might perky.

Coal: Mmm... dinner. That's what's on my mind. The sitter came by and took Maggie and I on a walk, though I think we walked him. I don't remember being the one straggling behind.

Lily: What's better than a nice long run, a nice dinner, and a treat for being really good doggies? Just a pile of treats with a giant trophy on it that says "best doggies."

Coco: When the sitter arrived, we were both super excited! We wanted to go out but it was raining and very yucky outside. Once we realized what the weather wa slike, we changed our minds :p.
Lula - So we just stayed inside and played with the sitter to get out exercise. We have a bunch of different toys and we had lots of things to play! We got our breakfast and the sitter fed the cats too. He also scooped out everyone's boxes so they were neat and tidy!

Sake: The sitter arrived and I was hididng at first. He knew where I was, though, because I couldn't help but meow at him from my hiding spot. After he gave me food and fresh water, he scooped out my box. By then I was following him around. He put some catnip on my scratcher before he left and I was going nuts!

Bailey: we heard the sitter come in and started to get really excited in our crates. When he came in our room to let us out and take us on our walk, I was so excited that I had to give him a hug. I was pateint in letting him put my leash and collar on, though!

Lexus: I wasn't quite as patient! I was just too super excited and couldn't stop moving around or stay seated long enough...I couldn't help myself! Anyways, we had a great walk and the sitter gave us a treat afterwards!

Mercedes: I was in a different spot today when the sitter got here. I wanted to mix it up to throw him off. You see, instead of being on top of the chair, I was on top off the chouch! See how I did that? I totally fooled him!

Cooper: The sitter came over and when i heard him get out of his car, I came racing down the stairs to make sure I was there when he opened the door. I made it, though, so no worries. i was able to give him my usual hugs and hand chewing on greeting.

Raven: Once the excitement wore off a little, we set off on our walk. It was nice and not too bad because of the clouds that were blocking the sun. When we got all finished, the sitter brought us back in and prepared our snack for us.

Josie: When the sitter got here, we were both pretty worked up. He tried to get us to calm down, and it worked a little, but it was tough for us to hold still because of our excitement. When the sitter took us out, i got a few steps away from the door and decided that I didn't want to walk anymore...maybe it was the thunder :(

Summer: Josie didn't feel like walking so the two of us (sitter and I) went on a walk instead. When we got back, we greeted Josie and the sitter gave both of us dinner! I tried to not eat my pill at first. I spit it out onto the carpet but the sitter must have snuck it back into my food bowl cause after I was done he asked how my pills tasted! Tricky sitter...

June 17, 2009

Coco: The sitter arrived this morning to Lula and I doing our crazy excited dance that we always do. We started to run laps around the kitchen! The sitter got us all ready to go on our walk and off we went. there were no other dogs or anything to bark at but there was plenty of things to sniff and investigate!
Lula - When we got back from our walk, the sitter filled up our food bowls and the cats' too. two full bowls of fresh water also! While we were busy munching away on breakfast, the sitter was cleaning up around our boxes and scooping out the cat box.

Sake: The sitter came over and at first, I was hiding under the table. the sitter knew where I was cause i couldn't help but meow at him. I totally forgot that today was Wednesday, though! that means I get to eat a can of wet fooooooood! As soon as the sitter opened that can, I was all over his leg and rubbing up against him :)

Mercedes: I was waiting for the sitter today atop my throne on the back of the chair. I was acting like i wasn't excited but I couldn't hold it in any longer after the leash got put on me! I jumped up and ran over to the door. we had a pretty great walk today. i was really thirsty when we got back because it's so hot out there lately.

Cooper: The sitter came over and i was trying to chomp on his hand. he wouldn't let me but I kept making faces at him like I was going to anyways. That made him laugh but only made me frustrated. I like having people's hands in my mouth, ok? Is that weird or something?

Raven: We got all set to go on our walk pretty quickly and we were off. It's hot out there but you know Coop and I. We pressed on like it was no big deal. Nothing too exciting. we had fun trying to stay in the shadows from the trees. In doing that, we got to walk in kind of a zig-zag pattern!

Maggie: Today was so much nicer! After I washed the sitter's arms we went out and enjoyed the cooler weather. Coal and I had much more energy to spare without all that heat. I can't wait to go out again.

Jack: The sitter found me napping when he came. I was having a dream about walking through a field full of peanut butter filled bones. When we got back from walking, I got a real one.

Coal: Maggie and I played a game on our walk this evening called who can mark the most trees. I won, but only because Maggie got bored after the first ten or so trees. This is my city now.

Sam: I felt really energetic today so we went even farther than usual. Boy could I feel the burn by the time I got back. My legs are like little jello stilts right now.

Lily: I smelled something really good today on the ground. Never found anything, but I followed that scent so intently the sitter was interested too.

Tank: I was so well behaved! I went right out and enjoyed a nice long walk with the sitter. The temperature was at optimum Tank enjoyment level and I can't complain with that.

Daisy: I didn't need to hide from the sitter today. I was ready to go for a walk and it was a lot of fun! When we got back I got a delicious treat! I can't wait for next time!

Harmon: Daisy wasn't hiding today so I didn't get to help find her today. To make up for it the sitter spend a long time rubbing my belly and giving me the delicious new treats. Mmm.

Yogi: Today we went on a awesome walk. On the way back I walked as fast as I could, the sitter didn't understand why but I hd some serious business to attend to when we got back.

Beggar: Today was nice! Right when the sitter came in I came up and said Hello! After I got my treats he sat and relaxed with me. Too bad he can't join me for the evening nap!

Hammer: Oh boy! The sitter is here! After watching him bring in the laundry, The sitter learned that I love belly rubs. Too bad he had to leave eventually. At least he comes back to give me another belly rub tomorrow!

Josie: Oh boy! The sitter is here! I was a little more excited to see the sitter than summer was, or rather I was jumping higher! We went for a fun walk and had a delicious dinner.

Summer: We went for a fun walk today! I made sure to stop and smell the roses' the whole way. When we got back we ate the most delicious dinner. I love dinner!

Chicken and Elephant: We couldn't stop squealing for the sitter to pet us! We get so jealous of each other...she has two hands so one for each of us! hehe!

Thomas: The sitter had to clean up some glass from a picture frame we knocked down!! We can get away with it because we are babies and we just don't know any better! right?!

June 16, 2009

Coco: I think I finally trained the sitter to carry me home when I don't want to walk anymore. He he, maybe soon I'll be able to get them to carry me the whole way. I think that the sitters might be catching onto my plans though.

Lula: The walk was fun today, except that Coco decided to keep sitting down making me wait for him. Silly Coco. One we got back we ate some delicious food and even both of the cats came out to play.

Sake: I tried to hide from the sitter but to no avail! He found me under the bed and I even let him pet me after he gave me a treat. I still didn't want to leave the safety of the bed and made that very clear! He didn't seem all that bad but I think I'll stick to hiding under the bed thank you very much.

Harmon: Today was really hot and I didn't want to play outside for very long. I was very excited to see the sitter and followed him all around the house while we looked for Daisy. We finally found her under a bed. I'd like to think the sitter couldn't have done it without me.

Daisy: Oh no! Intruders! When I heard someone come upstairs I ran and hid under the bed. It took them a while to find me and then I realized that it was just a sitter. I was still really shy and didn't want to go for a walk. The sitter convinced me that it would be fun so we went and I had a great time stopping to 'smell the roses' the whole way.

Yogi: Oh boy! Sitters! Today I went on a nice walk where I got to sniff everything along the way. My favorite part was riding the elevator! As soon as the doors opened I got to dash inside and smell where so many people had been standing. I cant wait till next time. I wonder where the kitties are hiding?

Beggar: When I heard someone come in, I ran and hid under the bed. Once I realized it was just a sitter I came out to visit. It was great, I got to get my back scratched my tummy rubbed. There were even treats for me! I definitely cant wait till the next time the sitter comes, as long as I still get those yummy treats.

Booboo: I was happy to great the sitter when he woke me up from my afternoon nap. After relentlessly meowing at him for a while he finally got the picture and gave me my wet food. After I had eaten I went back to the back porch and stretched out and continued my afternoon nap, this time with a full belly.

Missy: After I heard Booboo being fed I rushed in for my fair share. Unfortunately I got too excited and threw up. Good thing the sitter was there to run up and direct me away from the rug at just the last second. Perhaps next time I will let him pet me.

Tank: I was napping when the sitter came in. Lulu and I went out with him to do a little business. I stayed and was rewarded with a body massage.

Lulu: I only stayed outside for a little bit. Then I came back in to continue that dream I was having.

Elephant: Chicken made all sorts of noise when the sitter came in. But I remembered this guy and came right up ready to walk. I walked right by him the whole way.

Chicken: I'm a little toughie. Every time I saw someone other than my little pack, I barked and spun around at them showing them how tough I was.

Sam: Boy am I out of breath. It's definitely going to be another scorcher today. I didn't stop once today except to poop and the sitter told me I did an extra good job.

Lucy: I figured out how to open the cabinet where the food is kept and Thomas and I pulled the bag out and made another hole in it so the sitter could get the food easier.

Thomas: I am a silly kitten. I used the sitters shorts as a ladder to get to extra scratches and rubs. Wee!

Maggie: Every porch I saw today with a bit of shade looked so inviting. I tried to make myself at home on a couple but the sitter reminded me that the A/C in the room was so much better. Not to mention my ball is there.

Jack: The sitter came to take me out again this afternoon. It was dreadfully hot again, so he found us a nice shady spot under a tree for me to do all my business. Ahhh... lunchtime...

Raven: Whats this? Is the sun hiding behind the clouds? Well isn't that just our luck. Too bad the heat that's already here to stay. Cooper and I ran like canine machines.

Cooper: I was so ready to go on a run today. I met the sitter right at the door and grabbed his hand and led him to the harnesses. I was built for running.

Coal: Boy o boy! A nice long walk before a meal makes it feel even more deserved. Honestly, Maggie and I are pooped. I think we'll continue taking turns draining the water bowl.

Lily: I found all sorts of goodies today! A pizza crust and chicken bone. The sitter took them and threw them away before I could inhale them. He knows me what can I say?

Snowflake: I walked in the other direction this time. I prefer to walk to the left because I get to roam around and can stay off the hot cement as much as possible.

Yogi: Everytime I want to get on the grass I can't because its being sprayed, why do they do that so much in front my place? I went to the park...and it was so hot! Didn't take long and I was panting!

Sheba: I was a sweet girl! Sugar was a little funny about the sitter petting her...so just Alex and I got petted. Alex buried his dog biscuit in the backyard for the second time! No more for him until he eats both of them! That is if he ever finds them!

Seymour: I was ready to go outside! I begged the sitter to go ahead and let me out. I am sure I will want to come back in later and do it all over again!

June 15, 2009

Lulu: I enjoy my morning walks so much. Coco gets this whole "my way or the highway" idea and tries to pull us. I'm happy to just go with the flow.

Coco: Come on guys! Let's go this way! Through the grass and sand on an adventure! Maybe we will find a hidden stash of buried treats.

Ike: How a bout a friendly little duel sitter? After the sitter prepared our daily buffet and purged our litter, he and I played. I wrestled his hand!

Chester: Oh how I love when the sitter comes and sets all the different types of wet food out. I just go crazy with the decision of which to devour first.

Lucy: I just sat and let Ike and Chester go crazy on the food until they were done. Then I came and took my time eating.

Sam: How exhilarating! Running around the park. We saw a cop pulling people over for speeding. I thought I heard his radar gun go off when I passed by.

Thomas: As soon as the sitter opened the door I peeked out at him. Lucy and I got some more food and some fresh water. The sitter rubbed me until I purred like a little engine.

Lucy: I followed the sitter around. I ran so fast I would surprise him every time and be there before him. Tee hee!

Maggie: The sitter showed us more of the city today. It was awesome! We took a much shadier way today because Mr. Sun was extra hot. When we got back it was ball time!

Jack: I went for a nice walk to the park with the sitter. We roamed a bit, then the heat started to get to me so we came back and I ate my lunch.

Cooper: We took it easy on the pace today to avoid upsetting our stomachs. But we still got a good walk in. I flopped onto the floor and panted myself to sleep.

Raven: We were so excited to see the sitter for our walk. I love air conditioning, but I love taking walks outside even more.

Wilson: Wow! How refreshing. I love going for a nice long walk in the afternoon. I pooped twice today, it felt really good. I also got to run through a sprinkler quick to cool down.

Coal: Maggie and I decided to take the sitter on a walk this evening. He told us a bout all of the ghosts that haunt Savannah and to be careful. I think if a ghost tries to haunt us he better watch out. I'll eat him!

Lily: Ahhh! A nice breeze kept us cool as the sun turned Forsyth orange. We still put the paw to the pavement and power walked our furry butts off. Then it was wonderful delicious dinner time!

June 14, 2009

Coco: The sitter arrived and took us out for our walk right away. We were just trotting along and taking time to smell things and run through the grass. When it was time to turn around and go back home, I didn't really feel like it. i wanted to stay outside! But the sitter promised me food so that was enticing enough for me!

Lula: when the sitter got here, I gave him my usual spin-cycle show. he said I'm getting pretty good but my form needs improvement (oh yeah, I made him my official spin coach). After our walk he gave us food and fresh water. Same with the kitties. Then he cleaned up around our boxes and scooped out the cat box before saying goodbye.

Toby: here I am again, Mr. Sitter! You're always going to see me first! I actually tried to make a break for it today but the sitter snagged me before I even got two paws out the door. he explained to me that it's much better in here cause get all the free food I want. The outdoors doesn't respect elders like me (hey! who are you calling an elder!)

Penny: The sitter told me that he really likes to pet me because I really enjoy the attention from him and my coat is nice and soft. if he gets me in the right spot while I'm up on the back of the couch, I start to knead it which always makes the sitter giggle.

Patty: Once he got the canned food ready, he three of us were in the garage like always munching away. Baby never likes to show up until after the sitter leaves but there's always plenty of food to go around. Toby tries to eat all of it but he can never make it.

Ike: It's that sitter again! Hello Mr. Sitter. Did you come here to play with me again? Oh, that's right, you came here for much more than that! You came to play, and feed us, and clean out our litter box. I love that!

Chester: I was on the prowl for some of that elusive canned food. Sometimes it's pretty hard to catch so you have to wait for a larger species called the pet sitter to rack open it's head and spill out his insides onto my plate for me to gobble up!

Lucy: The sitter was cleaning out the litter box and he put in a little fresh litter to top it off once he scooped everything out. He turned around to take the bag out to the trash and there was Chester, using the box! It's always nice to be first so you can go in the fresh box instead of a used one!

Seymour: When the sitter rolled up into the driveway, I was right there waiting for him. He gave me some good kitty scratches and then i followed him inside. I was hanging out in there for a while but I ultimately decided I wanted to go back out so I did that when the sitter left!

Rosie: I was just sitting up on top of the laptop again the whole time the sitter was here. I really love it on that thing. Plus I got to see what the sitter was doing (the whole time he was right in front of me, anyways)
Sheba - I said hello to the sitter but It was too hot outside for me so I just went back and layed under the deck. No offesnse, Mr. Sitter but it's nice and cool down here!

Sugar: I said hello too but didn't really feel like going on a walk today. The sitter made me nervous even though i could tell he was friendly. i kept walking up to him with my tail wagging but then kind of prancing away before he could pet me!

Alex: I didn't feel much like going on a walk today either so he just spent some time petting me. He gave us all a treat and I buried mine! I decided to save it for later. I hope i remember where it was.

Yogi: The sitter arrived to take me on my afternoon walk today. We went out and had a pretty good one. It was hot but refreshing to get outside anyways. When we got back inside, I had a huge gulp of water. We looked for the cat but she didn't want to be seen. He topped off my food and scooped out the kitty's box before he left.

Josie: Another evening walk with the sitter! We did much better tonight about jumping because we were expecting this sitter's arrival so we had time to prep our excitement. He put on the right leashes today and also had a much easier time walking us! see what happens when you follow directions!?

Summer: During the walk, Josie and I just wanted to sniff just about everything. I saw a kitty and tried to take off after it but I didn't get very far, being tethered to the sitter and everything... When we got back inside the sitter gave us our dinner. I ate mine super quick and Jose ate hers pretty fast too. I still won the race, though!

Sparky: As soon as the sitter walked in, I was so happy! My tail was wagging uncontrollably and I couldn’t wait to play and go for a walk. I pottied and we walked back home and when we got back Millie came inside with us.

Charlie: When the sitter got here we went straight outside for a walk, there were so many squirrels and birds; I wanted to chase them all! We didn’t see Figaro, but we got to go on a really fun walk!

Lucy: I got lots of love and attention when the sitter came over, I ran after her into the kitchen and got food and a nice clean litter box. She also gave me yummy treats!

Dulcinea: The sitter gave me half a can of wet with my food today, I know there was more of the hard stuff then soft, but I ate it anyways. We spent a lot of time together playing. Tried playing with the big red ball, but I wasn't interested I did enjoy playing with the little one tho, and of course my favorite is the chirping bird.

June 13, 2009

Lulu & Coco: Today we got to go on a nice walk. It was perfect, we got back inside just as it was getting really hot outside. Good thing it’s nice and cool for us inside!

Toby: Today I was excited for the sitters to come so I waited for them at the door. I made sure I got a good visit in before it was lunch time.

Patty: Today was getting pretty boring until the sitters cam and gave us lunch. It sure hit the spot!

Penny: Too bad baby was too shy to come out and play today. She missed out on some good fun visiting with the sitters.

Lucy: It sure looked hot today outside. Good thing I get to live in this nice cool house!

Sweat Pea & Chatchke: It sure was nice to have a visitor today! We can only spend so much time napping and cleaning ourselves before we start to miss our people.

Raven & Cooper: Today we went for a fun walk. All was well until that mailman drove by. I’m sure we’ll get him next time!

Ike: Today I thought it would be much more fun to play with the sitters than to eat the food they gave me. Why would I eat now when there are people to play with?

Chester: Lunch time! I sure was ready for lunch after a quick visit with the sitters.

Lucy: Today I was having such a relaxing time sitting in my massage chair that I didn’t feel the need to visit with the sitters. They looked kinda sad but I sure was comfy!

Seymour: Ah, the great outdoors. What would be better than enjoying the shade of the sitters car?

Rosie: I enjoyed observing the sitters today when they visited. Too bad Lucky and Zoe were too shy to come out and play.

Alex: Today was fun; I got to go for a walk! Too bad Alex and Sheba were too shy to come along. Oh well maybe next time.

Sugar & Sheba: We’re not sure about these sitters. They seem to want to walk us but we’d better play it safe and see what happens to Alex if she goes on the walk.

Coco: I was the only one inside to say hello to the sitter when he got here. He gave me some good head scratches and then opened the door to the back porch. I came outside and those other two came rushing in! When it was time to go back inside, i didn't want to. i wanted to stay out there with them!

Glory: Georgia and i went inside to relax for a bit but we kept wanting to come outside and play with the sitter. Eventually he brought us out there to play but we ended up only chasing each other around. we weren't necessarily leaving the sitter out, though because he was definitely entertained by watching us.

Georgia: yeah, we were wrestling with each other pretty good. I kept tackling Glory and then getting counter attacked! When everything was all finished with and it was time for the sitter to go, he gave us each a treat and said goodbye.

Josie: Hey! it's the sitter! we don't get to see him much anymore so we made sure to try and give him a super hello. he kept making us stay down and not jump up but he said he was definitely excited to see us too! he took us for a walk and forgot how much fun we can be!

Summer: we made the sitter work during our walk but that was mostly his fault! He grabbed the wrong leashes and walked us without our prong collars so we couldn't help but take him for a ride. When we got back inside, he gave us our dinner and then a treat before leaving.

Dulcinea: The sitter came earlier this morning then she had been, she said she had a lot to do so she had to start early, because she didn't want to come later. She knew I would eat all my food, and be hungry! Which I was!!!! I love this food, she tried not giving me the wet food and just dry with chicken broth. I didn't go for it. I ate it, only because I knew she wasn't going to give me anything else.

Sparky: When the sitter came over I was hiding at first, but then she came into the bedroom and kneeled down, I quickly warmed up to her and let her pet me. We went for an amazing walk to the grassy area down the street! We saw Millie outside and she was rolling on the steps for attention.

Charlie: I was so excited when the sitter got here; I bolted inside as soon as she opened the door! We went for a long walk and I was very tired after wards, but I had enough energy to follow her around the house. We saw Figaro outside eating and he got some attention too. I love my peanut butter treat so much!

Yogi: I was right by the front door when the sitter came in, I could barely contain my excitement!! We went for a walk in the park and there were some kids that looked like a lot of fun to play with!

June 12, 2009

Maggie: WOW! It is so hot out there! Its not easy with all this fur on! I played a lot of fetch as always. You would think I would be hyper on my walks but I am really easy going. Snowball and I had a great time walking with the sitter. After we chased each other around in the backyard!

Snowball: I really love to be inside! The heat is so bad! I didn't want the sitter to leave, I love it when she rubs my belly! Today was extra hot! We went for a nice walk around the block and I tried to take us to the pool. I was just hanging out in the sun room when the sitter arrived, I got pretty excited to see him but not nearly as excited as you-know-who! We got to go on a walk before dinner and then it was food time. Again, i wasn't as excited about it as Maggie but I'll save some for later!

CoCo: I got petted a little bit...I mostly like to watch Maggie act crazy with the sitter and snowball...dogs are weird!

Yogi: The sitter got here early! We went to the park and some silly human decided to put laundry detergent in the fountain!! The soap was really really high off the water! I wonder how they got rid of all the soap before I came back the next time? Hello there, Mr. Sitter! He came in and gave me lots of attention which is good cause i was pretty much demanding it from him! He got me hooked up to my leash and off we went. It was really busy across the street at Tubby's but I guess it always is on Fridays. it was kind of weird having all those people out on the deck watch me poop but I got over i!

Snowflake: I did my best in the heat! I hope it doesn't get anyyy hotttter! But I am sure it will!

Coco: I was in bed when the sitter came over, and I didn't want to get up. But then I went outside and pottied. When I got back inside I went back to bed and got nice and comfy.

Georgia: I was so excited when the sitter got here! At first I didn't want to go to bed, I wanted to play with my new friend!

Glory: At first when the sitter came, I was kind of nervous, but after she spent some time with me. I felt more comfortable and followed her inside to my room.

Athena: What a storm last night! Atlas and I were shaking in our crates. But now it's a beautiful morning and everyone is out in the backyard playing. Mmm! Breakfast time!

Colby: What a fun run today! We walked for a good long time and it feels so great to expend all that energy. The sitter said I did a great job!

Sebastian: A nice morning walk to start off the day. Doo my business and say hello to all the other dags out walking. Then a nice breakfast to get me good and strong.

Lily: Sam and I both thoroughly enjoyed our walks today. Sam was dripping sweat from his tongue when we got back. We both flopped on the floor and napped.

Sam: I hurtled around Forsyth shedding these pounds. It feels so great to get a good exercise in and then have a nice breakfast when I get back.

Maggie: Ohno! Coal and I were having such a great time on our walk and then my collar broke! Thankfully the sitter was able to grab me and we came back. We were already exhausted anyway.

Coal: Fill that bowl up nice and full. Maggie and I need a nice big drink of some fresh cold water! It's hot outside!

Toby: You know where to find me, Mr. Sitter. I'll always be right here at the front door waiting for the sitter to arrive! I like to be the first one to get everything. First to say hello, first to get pet, first to meow at the sitter, and most importantly, first to taste all the FOOD!

Patty: I was watching the sitter through my favorite window when he was walking up the driveway, I'm usually practicing my spy techniques when he gets here so I have to quickly act casual so as not to attract any attention to my secret studies.

Penny: I'm feeling pretty lazy this morning so I'm not really going to follow the sitter around too much. I'll just hand back until I hear the cans open then, I'll have a bite and go back to napping! Man, being a cat is such hard work!

Lucy: I was hanging out in my basket when the sitter arrived. He came by and gave me some good scratchings which made me even more comfortable! He checked all of our food because mom already fed us before she left but he did give us fresh water and made sure that was fll. i saw him take some food up to those kitties in the bathroom, I hope they're not super terrified of everything :( Must be really stressful.

Sweet pea: Ah! who is this strange person? i see he's giving food, water, and scratches but I'm going to keep my distance for now, thank you.

Chatchke: Must not let this sitter person discover my lair underneath the bed in the master bedroom. Must guard top secret plans!

Cooper: Hello Mr. Sitter! Look how happy we are to see you! You know what we're ready for. We had a really great jog today. It's still really hot outside but you know how Raven and I roll, we won't wuss out on account of a little heat. I did something weird on the walk today, though. Right when we were in the middle of jogging, I hit the brakes and pooped right there on the street! That's twice now! I can usually hold it until we find some prime real estate but I didn't feel like it today...what of it?

Raven: When we got back inside, Coop and I wandered around looking for the coolest place in the house so we could lay there. The sitter was fixing up our snack so we knew we were just going to be getting up in a minute anyways, so we didn't spend that much time looking for that perfect spot.

Ike: The sitter arrived today and i was the first one to say hello, though none of use were hiding or anything. I had to investigate and see what was happening. After a minute or two, i turned up the cuteness and started to rub all up on the sitter and play with him up on the counter top!

Chester: I was the one following the sitter around the whole time! I was really waiting on that canned food to make an appearance. once it did, my focus could not be averted from the deliciousness in front of me! Just try to break this stone-like gaze.

Lucy: I didn't move much from the chair I was sitting in but i made sure to tell the sitter that i appreciated his taking care of us. I'm going to get up and get me some of that food in just a minute. I'm just waiting for him to finish scooping out the box so i can pig out without anyone watching.

Samson: Oh boy, we haven't seen this sitter in a loooooong time. But we remember him! He got us all set and off we went on our walk. This sitter showed no mercy, though. We were out there for a pretty long time. I wasn't trying to wimp out and turn back or anything but i was feeling that burn the whole time!

Delilah: I had to go out on a really long walk with Sams cause the sitter took us both at the same time. Not that I really minded. I love going on walks in the park! We like to get our leashes twisted and watch the sitter try to maneuver out of it. We're not mean though, so we don't do that too much! ;)

Bucky: It's been a long time since we've seen this sitter. He said he was glad to see us again. It took him a while to find our food even though it was right in front of him! Silly sitter. he got it eventually, though and it's a good thing, too cause we were staaaaarving! Ok, not really, but we were ready to eat!

Roscoe: Yeah, it was definitely food time! We bot inhaled our food and then looked up at the sitter like "can we have some more? :D" he didn't give us any...we figured it wouldn't work but it's worth a shot. he did give us some good belly rubs and head scratches, though which definitely made up for it.

Dulcinea: I'm always waiting for the sitter, I watch her through the window and then race to the front door to meow at her so she knows that first things first, I want some more food! yummy! Then it's always play time and cuddles.

June 11, 2009

Athena: I woke up this morning to the sitter opening my crate. Then I bolted out to the backyard and had a wrestling match with Atlas. Then I polished off a whole bowl of dog food. Now that's a start to a good day.

Sams: A nice run around Forsyth this morning got me all pumped for the day. Then I had a victory bowl to replace a few of those lost calories.

Lily: Sam is looking so good lately with all this exercise! The sitter said even I look like I am turning into a super dog.

Coal: We took a stroll with the sitter today. It was quite hot, but we were so into exploring it wasn't so bad. We started to mark our new territory.

Maggie: I love walking around new places. All the smells and things to see and taste! One thing is for sure, I love when the sitter rolls my ball around.

Mia: The sitter got me out from under the bed by using the "lick bil-jac off fingers" technique. I don't know why. This is the coolest place in the house. It's too hot out there.

Sebastian: I got to go on another walk with the sitter tonight. It was just great. I found all sorts of strange little critters during the walk. Ones that had so many legs! And ones that moved so fast I could barely see them.

Atlas: I love playing the dinner game. Eat a little, switch. Eat some more, switch! Though my stomach is no where near the same size as Athena's. She just gobbles up entire bowls.

Dulcinea: I spotted the sitter as she was parking from my momma's bedroom window. So I knew just when she was going to walk through the door, I couldn't wait!!! I had eaten all my food so I was ready for a new fresh bowl of food! I ate a few bites and then followed her in to the bathroom to watch has she cleaned my litter box out and I jumped right in to go potty!

Toby: You know where I was when the sitter came over. I'm always in the same spot! I try really hard not to demand food but it's just so tempting. The sitter thinks it's funny and cute anyways so it's not like I'm being rude! hey, I love food and I'm cute, why not use both of those aspects and get something out of it!

Penny: I was prowling around the house when I heard the sound of a can being popped open. I knew right then what it meant and hurdled over many obstacles and finally reached my destination in the garage. Ok, it probably didn't happen like that. I was right next to the garage but nobody saw me so I thought I'd spruce up my story a little bit

Patty: After I eat, I always jump up onto the loveseat to clean myself off. Once I popped up there today, the sitter gave me some good kitty scratches and i started to turn in circles cause it was so nice! I tried to tell Baby that this sitter gives good scratches but still didn't want to come say hello :(

Mercedes: The sitter came over and i was so excited. I was wagging my tail really hard! I jumped on the back of the chair and waited for him to get my leash on me. I froze and held in all of my energy to make it easy for him to clip it on but the second I hard that click, I shot for the door! I LOVE going on walks!

Cooper: When the sitter came over today, mom and dad were just leaving so we got to say goodbye to them right when we were going on our jog. Before we did that, I gave the sitter my usual hand in mouth hello. I was excited to see him so I gave him hugs too. But I finally settled down and off we went.

Raven: It was so hot today. These summer months are killer aren't they? We were pretty winded after only 10 minutes but we pressed on. We knew that once we were done, waiting for us back home were 3 things: A cold floor to lay on, a big old bowl of water, and some cool apples and yogurt! Gotta keep moving!

BooBoo: Hello again, Mr. Sitter! No hiding for me today. I was waiting for you to come back so you could pet me and give me some food! As soon as he walked into the door, I went right up to him and said hello. He gave me some scratches and then went into the kitchen to get us some food. When he was cleaning up our litter box area, he left his sunglasses in the laundry room and had to come back for them, haha. Luckily, he was only as far as the driveway when he realized! Silly sitter!

Maggie: I love my sitter! I squeal so loud when she walks in the door! I bring my toy to her so we can play fetch over and over again!

Snowball: Maggie wants all the attention for herself! I managed to get my belly rubbed. The sitter wouldn't let her push me out the way anymore.

CoCo: I was pawing at the door to come inside the house but the sitter said I am suppose to stay in the sunroom. I managed to knock over the bottle of dawn soap...luckily it didn't all come out.

Yogi: The music was really loud at night at Tubby's. I could only watch from far away...I always dream that im eating all the food I smell everyday!

Snowflake: Bark! Bark! I love my treats! I think everyone knows how much I love my treats! Thats the best part of having a sitter! She does whatever I tell her to do!

Bucky: I sure have a big appetite for such a little dog! I wish I could eat as much as Roscoe but I know I can't! I do love treats though!

Roscoe: I gave the sitter lots of kisses...usually when she least expected it, like when she picked up my bowl right after I ate all my food.

June 10, 2009

Toby: There I was, waiting at the door again this morning, waiting for the sitter to come over so I could get some food...er...attention...yeah, that's it! I followed the sitter around and gave him my unique meows and then he got our food ready. He knows that's my favorite part!

Patty: Once the sitter started getting our meal ready, I came barreling into the garage. I was nowhere to be seen at first but once you hear that familiar sound of cans opening up, you can rest assured that I'll come running!

Penny: I was near the front door today too. Toby and i were on our guard duty shift when the sitter got here. That's the best shift to take cause we get the first round of kitty scratches. The sitter took care of all of our boxes while we ate. He didn't see Baby, though. I guess he's kind of used to that.

Mercedes: Oh man, it's so hot out there! I was real excited to get out on my walk but once we were out there for a while, i changed my mind, haha! It was a nice walk, don't get me wrong, but it's just hard to stay out there for too long anymore. it's always the best feeling when you get back inside where there's Air Conditioning!

Cooper: The sitter came over and Raven and i were upstairs. When we heard that door open and looked at the time, we figured it had to be him so we came running down the stairs to greet him in our typical fashion. After a rousing hello, he got us hooked up to our leashes and we went for our jog.

Raven: During our jog today, there was this truck that kept driving by and wouldn't leave us alone! We had to keep barking at it to show it who's turf it was on but it just wouldn't get the picture! I guess it's not such a smart truck after all! When our walk was over with, the sitter brought us inside and fixed us up our apple snacks. Always helps cool us off!

BooBoo: The sitter came over and both of us were hiding at first. I heard him put some canned food in my dish. That helped me realize he was a nice person so i came out to investigate. He saw me when he came in from watering the tomato plant and gave me some really good kitty scratches to say hello. I circled around him for a little bit and tried to tell him that Missy is just a good hider but he still tried to find her anyways.

Sadie: My sitter came by to walk me so I could get some good doggercize on this bright and sunny afternoon - yeah no rain is right! She thought she left her watch and stopped back by on her lunch and thinks somebody was home then - hope she didn't scare anybody and I know I scared her when I barked at sitter opening the door!

Athena: Breakfast was great this morning. There is not a lot that is more enjoyable than a big bowl of gourmet first thing in the morning. Here Atlas, try some.

Maggie: Here comes Sam! Raving around the corner of Forsyth park! What a speedster! What a magnificent and fit specimen! That was all I heard today on my walk and I'm sticking to it.

Coal: Ahhh! Air conditioning. One of my favorite human inventions. Mr. Sun is out to get us with our beautiful black coats.

Milo: Eww! Gross! I'm just minding my own business cooling off on on the patio and Athena and Atlas come out of nowhere and start slobbering all over me! Then they just ran off to play with the sitter. Why?!!

Lily: There were so many tasty squirrels out in the park today. I almost got one but they seem to run so fast once they know you are coming. Drats!

Roscoe: Oh yeah! Rub my chest nice and hard. Now get ready for kisses all over! No sign of our buddy Haley, can I have her food too?

Bucky: Roscoe and the sitter and I all played in the yard together. Though Roscoe was hogging the sitter a lot. The sitter made sure I got lots of love too.

Snowball: Maggie and I went for a nice peaceful walk around the neighborhood. She wanted to sniff and see everything but I was content to just walk next to the sitter.

Atlas: We had a great night tonight. Mia was in a sour mood and stayed out for a little. But Athena and I expended all of our energy running after each other, then we chased the sitter. Haha!

Dulcinea: I ate all of my food!!!!! I surprised the sitter by having another empty bowl for her to fill, after I had eaten enough to satisfy my hunger for now we played with a bird toy that chirp a lot. I wanted to take it off to bat at it myself, but the sitter would take it from me and throw it again, I would always bring it back!

Yogi: So hot out there! So much has been going on around here I don't know what to think! The fountain always looks good on days like this...would be so much fun to swim in! Just my size!

Snowflake: I always speed up walking when I am toward home. I know that my treat comes next. When I get in the house I jump around and bark like crazy until I get my treat!

Tuesday, June 9, 2009

June 9, 2009

Yogi: I was so excited to see the sitter! Even more excited to jump on the flowers and smell them. I walked to the park and did a lot more sniffing there!

Snowflake: I was sound asleep when the sitter came in the door. She had to touch my pillow to wake me up. When I came back in from my walk I was jumping around and barking for my treats..I can't decide if I like pupperoni or the other chewy treats I get.

Daisy: Bruno is gone now! I am sure he will be back to visit. I was hiding under the bed...something spooked me...but I was all fine when I realized it was just the sitter

Athena: Good morning. The sitter came to feed us breakfast. I munched and munched until mine was all gone. Then I helped Atlas finish his. Two bowls are way better than one.

Atlas: Athena found her rope toy today and went to show the sitter but I snatched it away and ran around the yard with it. Finally Athena and the sitter caught up and we played a three way tug o' war.

Roscoe: Yay! Dinner and playtime. I don't know if I can contain myself. I'm going to run all over the place like a crazy dog! Try and catch me.

Bucky: Hey! Down here! I need some of those belly rubs you are giving Roscoe too! and can you get that area on my back too?

Haley: The sitter must have come by because I found food ready and waiting for me when I returned from my outdoor adventure. Delicious.

Mia: I'm watching you sitter. I am sneaking around through the halls and rooms behind you. Just when you look I'll flit away, back to my hiding place under the bed.

Dulcinea: I greeted the sitter at the door, I couldn't wait to get some cuddles. She scooped me up right away along with a toy I had beside me and I just purred right away. She got me to eat a little bit of my food by putting some chicken broth in with my food. How much better can it get? She cleaned out my litter box and I used it right away!

Toby: Would you believe that today I kind of tried to escape? Not like make a break for it or anything but I made a genuine attempt to get out the front door! The sitter was only surprised because I've never done that in as long as he's taken care of me. The way I see it, you always have to hide things about yourself an reveal them slowly. This way, you keep everyone on their toes!

Patty: I was taking a kitty nap when the sitter got here. It was so nice that i didn't feel like getting up right away either. Just like usual, i couldn't resist the sound of those cans, though! I can running as soon as I heard them!

Penny: I was kind of late to the meeting today. I got caught in traffic, the dog was feeling sick, my alarm didn't go off, I missed the memo, my car wouldn't start...are any of these working? Ok, so i was a straggler when the food was being put down but I made it!

Mercedes: The sitter arrived and, just like usual, I was real excited to see him. we went on our usual walk around the block but today there were lots of machines doing construction work out there and they were making a ton of noises and kept scaring me :( I eventually made my way past them all but it was pretty tough, they're all HUGE and intimidating!

Cooper: When the sitter arrived today, i was more excited than usual! i couldn't stop hopping up and down and trying to fit the sitter's hand in my mouth. Eventually I calmed down a bit and we got to get going on our walk. It was quite the scorcher today, too. I did something that I've never done with the sitter too. we were jogging along and I just stopped and pooped right on the street! Haha, I decided that I couldn't hold it anymore, what do you want?

Raven: Oh man, was it hot today! All 3 of us were panting and sweating. I don't know how much more of it we could've taken. it's a good thing we got back hime when we did. Coop and I plopped down on the hardwood to cool off as soon as we got inside. Dad was in there getting our cool snacks finished up so we got to eat those, too.

Sadie: Good afternoon! New guy walked me today! He couldn't ever find my leash though :( we had a great time this afternoon and I really needed to potty!!!

June 8, 2009

Charlie: I was so good today with my jumping! The sitter said sit and I would sit!... Until I exploded with excitement and had to run around! We went outside and played a ton of fetch but it was hot so we came in for water!

Penny: I was the one who really wanted cuddles, the others just wanted food. The just kept meowing about it!

The other kitties: The meowing worked! We got lots of food and then we saw the sitter clean our litter box! Whoo!

Cooper: It was hot and sticky out there, yuck! But we still went for our run anyway! We came back in for lots of fresh water and a nap!

Raven: It was too hot to run fast, especially with these coats! I took it slow but Cooper tried to be a jet as usual!

Wilson: Whooo! I was so excited to see the sitter! We went for a nice long walk so I could do my business and then we came inside to play. It was hot out there! The sitter gave me a treat for going in my kennel!

Josie: I'm still a' jumpin! I'm just excited to see a new face in the house! We went for a nice walk. Summer and I like to stop all of a sudden and then start right up again with the same speed. It's crazy!

Summer: I just like to eat! I'm so good at waiting but I'm not good at taking my time. I down it instantly!

Tank: It was so hot and muggy out there it took me a long time just to get in the back yard! Once I was there, I did my business and then we came in to cuddle. It was nice and cool inside!

Athena: The sitter came this morning and took us out to the backyard to doo our business. We all said hi to the man walking up and down the road but he didn't seem to appreciate it.

Sophie: I have never met this sitter before so I wanted to impress him. I sat at every corner and walked right next to him. He told me I was such a good girl.I was so happy on my walk today I kept giving the sitter the biggest little hugs I could. Then when I got back a delicious lunch awaited! Everyone at the park wanted to pet me and tell me how adorable I am. I love the attention and especially all the belly rubs. I even made a few canine friends.

Mia: I went out to stretch my legs but not for long. It was very hot outside and I ran back in to get cool. Mr. Sitter and I aren't on friendly terms yet but I let him stroke my little ears.

Atlas: It feels good to run around. Eat a little dinner, chat with the neighbors and the neighbor's humans. I also like to check on all of the other animals with the sitter. Lot's of fun.

Snowflake: I walked much further than I have in a while. There was a lot of shade and so much to sniff. I bet the deer were out!

Yogi: Big and loud trucks scare me so bad! I try to fun in all kinds of directions when I get scared. I am so silly!

Annabelle: It was so wet walking on the grass in the morning! Took me a while to find the right place to potty. The park was not really quiet...lots of kids out there, don't they know they should be quiet when Annabelle is around?!

June 7, 2009

Annabelle: It was raining like crazy this morning so I refused to go for a walk, until the sitter convinced me to get out and do my business. This afternoon, it was raining again, but I just had to get out there. When we came back, Lunch time! It has dried up a little bit outside but there are still monstrous puddles. I got to choose the way we went on the walk and that made me very happy

Ebon: It was raining! Yuck! I didn't want to go out and the sitter had to pull the leash out so I could do my business. We came in for breakfast and some cuddles!

Moe: It was raining outside so we weren't out for long. Just enough time to stretch our little legs out and do what we needed to doo. Then we came back in and played with the sitter.

Larry: I went outside for a little bit and when I came back in our giant pee pad in the garage had been changed. How crazy!

Curly: I'm not going out there. It's raining and there are puddles. Oh, just for a little bit to get some rubs and scratches.

Atlas: Woo! The sitter is here! Athena and I ate while the sitter found and fed Mia. Then we all followed the sitter around and helped him take care of the rest of our family.

Bella: Today when the sitter came over I made two poops! Then I went crazy with happiness and ran around the sitter fetching all my toys. He scratched me butt extra!

Griffin: I'm going to get you Noah! I saw you sneak a bite out of my bowl! Try and hide in the litter boxes! I'll still find you!

Milo: Callie and I were outside on the driveway when the sitter drove up. So we decided to come in and grab some lunch. We got to cuddle and catch up with the dogs. It was a wonderful afternoon.

Charlie: The sitter and I chased each other around until I was all sleepy again. I got a treat for being a big lovable golden boy and then I took a nap. boy oh boy! I was the most excited as my sitter has ever seen me. Then I must have ran around too much because we were tired and I layed down!

Atlas: The sitter came during the evening to let Athena and I out for a bit and to serve dinner. Athena and I played with Milo and the sitter then we came in to get some grub. I'll have what's in Athena's bowl.

Madison: breakfast time! I sure do eat better these days than I used to. We walked before the morning rain! I am not Eeyore - why do i have a black rain cloud following me this weekend?? I got woke up from my rainy day nap to go walk but it was a blast!

Sadie: Water! Yum yum - I have been hearing it rain but didn't have any in my kennel. We went for a very long walk and thru the whole complex without any rain on us! We were glad to stay dry!!

June 6, 2009

Ebon: I was awake when the sitter come in but pretty unresponsive! I'm tiiiired! It rained yesterday so I was hesitant to get outside but I finally did. The sitter gave me a good breakfast too!

Vinischu: I greeted the sitter at the door with a low meow and scared him! Hehe! Ooops! He gave us a good breakfast and I got some cuddles!

The Other Siamese's: We didn't really want to come out and get cuddles so we just stayed put. The sitter cleaned out litter though and we'll come out later for food!

The parrots: The sitter gave us some tasty nuts and things. We started eating them right away!

Bella: I was a little shy at first but then he fed me and I was all happy! We played outside and then came in for a treat! I slip and slide all over the floors! Yay! The rain stopped! I was so glad because now the frisbee won't be so slippery and I can bring it back to the sitter even more. He said I was a frisbee catching pro!

The kitties: Bella chases us! We love it! The sitter made sure we had lots of food and water!

Charlie: The sitter came over and I was crazy excited to see him! He's getting pretty good at calming me down quickly, though. It's hard for me! I just LOVE people! We got all set up for a walk and off we went. It was a nice morning and the rain had stopped so that was nice. We saw some people drive by and every one of them waved at us. Ok, now it's time for breakfast! Hello again, Mr. Sitter. The sitter said that, since it rained again today it'd be best to go on a walk instead of play. we don't wan to get all dirty. When are him and I going to get to play out back? Every time he comes to play, it's all yucky outside!

Harmony: The sitter came over and both Zeppy and I were crazy excited to see him! He gave us both some good scratches and then let us out to take care of some business. When we go back inside, more than once, i decided to bark at those cats and scare 'em off. Sometimes you just have to remind them who runs this house!

Zeppy: Both Harmony and I couldn't wait very long for our breakfast. We hoovered it down almost before the sitter finished feeding the cats...now that's speed! After breakfast we got to play a little bit with out toys and then the sitter had to go upstairs to clean out the kitties' box. But he came back down for more playing!

Lula: one...two...three...four...Hey! Mr. Sitter, are you counting!? I'm trying to break my record for consecutive spins. I've been practicing...fifteen...sixteen...I'm a cyclone! Vrrrroooooooooom! twenty-eight...twenty-nine...thirty! I'm not even dizzy yet!

Coco: After Lula broke many world records, we went on a nice walk. At one point, out of nowhere, i decided to bark which set off the neighbor dogs that we didn't even know where outside! Sometimes you've just gotta speak your mind, you know? We went inside for some breakfast while the sitter cleaned out our boxes.

Toby: The sitter told me that he loves my unique meow-howl (he's going to trademark that word, by the way...but he said i can use it royalty-free!) He told me that he's never met another cat that does it quite like me. I kind of throttle it up and it's pretty middle range for a cat! Most cats have high-pitched meows but not me!

Patty: The sitter was getting our food ready and, just like yesterday, bot Penny and I trotted on in to see what was for breakfast. Turns out it was the same thing as always but you won't catch us complaining! we love that stuff!

Penny: Yeah! we don't care about eating the same stuff! We're cats! as long as it tastes good and keeps coming everyday, we're as happy as can be! Baby needs to stop hiding while the sitter is around. He pets us and gives us food...how awesome is that?

Maggie: Hello again Mr. Sitter! There was no rain tonight so we got to go on a nice long walk around the complex! Took our time and got to explore, too. That didn't stop us from playing a whole bunch once we got back inside! I was so excited to play, even though i was panting pretty forcefully, i didn't want to stop to take a water break until I was REALLY parched!

Curly: the sitter arrived and all of us except for Chiquita were waiting for him at the door. He had to disarm the alarm so it wasn't an immediate hello but we can forgive him for that...we don't want that alarm going off! When he took us outside, i didn't feel much like going out there. I only made it as far as the porch then I just sat there. hey! I didn't have to go...what do you want?!

Larry: Whatever, Curly! I just like running around with Moe! Ok, I do admit, I had to go potty, too so it wasn't just that. We were playing with each other and running around with the sitter for quite a bit.

Moe: Once we got tired of being outside, the sitter brought us all back in. We were wanting to eat a treat and were all lined up at the counter waiting for one but the sitter said it wasn't time for a treat :( Aw! we all grabbed one of our chew toys and laid down together to have a chew together!

Chiquita: When the sitter first arrived, i rolled over on my back and my little tail was flapping so hard you'd think I would have taken off! It was a blur...the sitter told me he was pretty impressed and he's never seen a dog wag it's tail as fast as me!

Peekaboo: What is with Buddy? We all went on a walk and he kept stopping at every corner to do business. BOTH businesses! I kept telling him to hurry up so we could keep going and the sitter just laughed.

Buddy: Evening walks are my favorite. That's why I jumped all over the sitter with excitement when he got here. And because of the rubs.

Athena: Atlas and I barked at the sitter when he came in to let us out. We didn't quite recognize him at first. But he knew exactly how I like my dinner and in no time we were all playing together in the background.

Mia: As soon as the sitter let me out I started a hide and seek game with him. He didn't know about it though. But he did finally find me. Or more, I found him.

Atlas: Who is this guy? Whatever sitter man. I'll make you a deal, I won't get all muddy if I get an extra treat. Deal? Alright.

Madison: We went out for a walk this morning and the neighbors scared us that were outside smoking - but the funny thing is I might have scared them more and I am a big black dog with a tag that rattles!! I am sure glad it stopped raining so we could take our whole walk without any rain. There were some unusually loud and obnoxious people in the parking lot that we tried to ignore.

Sadie: I was surprised to have company. I was really thirsty, so i was glad to be able to quench my thirst and then go play outside. A stranger told me i was a pretty dog,but i already knew that.
