March 30, 2009

Sugar: I was nicer today and let her pet me, I don't play with toys so I wasn't much of a host but atleast I am more friendly now!

Sheba: I laid around on the ground and talked to the sitter a little, I talk when I am excited! I am not much a player of toys either, I just sit and look at the pond mostly.

Alex: I was my extra sweet self. She shook out our food and I started eating, you can't tell by looking at me that I love to eat...oh wait maybe you can! hehe

Snowflake: I like to go outside but it isn't to just walk, I want to sniff and roam around and just do whatever I want. It is MY walk right?!

Yogi: There were a lot of birds going craaaazy out there today so we decided to take another route. That is until we ran into a barking pup and I wanted to go back home! The sitter then gave me some cuddles and fresh water!

Raven: I really just needed to bark out some big trucks today. I haven't done it in a while! It's good to get these things out!

Cooper: I finished my snack waaaay before Raven did today. I'm pretty proud of myself. I ran faster than him too...until I got tired!

Wilson: What a beautiful day out there! We went for a nice long walk and then came back in to play! The kitty's afraid of me but I don't mind her. The sitter gave me some fresh water and a treat!

Ernie: When the sitter arrived I was acting lazy and sleepy. As soon as he held up the leash I was ready to go on a walk. The chilly air woke me up real fast and the walk warmed me up!

Rex: What a friendly sitter! He came in and we warmed up to each other really fast. Bacchus rubbed against his legs while I curled up and rolled around in his lap. Oh boy! He gave us some wet food too!

Mercedes: Yay! Someone to play with! The sitter was so entertained. I performed a whole show of flips and rolls for him. He made sure I knew the basics like sit and lay too. Then we went on a refreshing walk.

Sams: Today Lily and I got a ride home from the sitter. It was quite and adventure. We got a nice meal when we arrived home and then he took us on a nice long walk to work off those extra calories.

Lily: Sams and I had a lovely walk around the park this evening. There were so many smells in the park and other dogs. Lot's hellos here and there.

March 29, 2009

Sugar: Alex keeps playing with the sitter and loving the attention! But not me! I'm a little wary of the sitter! Unless he has a treat in his hand!

Sheba: I met the sitter in the driveway! I wanted lots of petting! The food was nice too! -Rosie
More treats! Those are all I'm interested in!

Seymour: Me and the sitter got along very well! I just wanted to be petted, and he pet me! This is how it should be! Constant backscratching! Purr!

Rex: We're so active today! It's great that someone's here! Pet us! Give us wet food! Play with us! Purr! Now I'm gonna go hide behind the couch! That's enough human interaction for me today!
Bacchus: I'm not hiding anymore! Now I just want attention! The sitter gave me some backscratching, then started playing with my string toy and I went crazy doing back flips and stuff! I'm great!

Ernie: I was pretty lethargic tonight... just laying around on the couch... not much interest in treats... but then we walked out the door and I ran down the steps and was so ready for a good walk! The weather was perfect for it and I even got to run some! My tongue was hanging out the whole time and I was smiling! I love walks! Now I'm going to sleep!

Funky: I have the coolest name! The sitter told me! Then he fed me! I was starving, but he didn't believe me! He still fed me though.

March 28, 2009

Cleo: Watched some more movies, but this time it was storming! I didn't bark at it since I was right by the sitter the whole time.

Mason: Storms are scarey but we do pretty well with them. We played through all of it, I sit in the toy box and bark at Dixon to get me! We are crazy!

Niffy: the sitter came over and I had just gotten back from the vet. My mom was just leaving but asked the sitter to stay with me and play anyways. I'm glad she did cause we had lots of fun today. I asked me to jump super high because he wanted to take a picture to put up on this blog to show all the other sitters how amazing I am. Look at me! I can fly really high!

Rex: After I gave all my hellos to the sitter, I decided to relax a little bit. I followed him into the kitchen and watched him get our food ready but after that I just hopped up onto the table and posed for the sitter (he brought his camera today...which is totally alright with me. I'm not camera shy!)

Bacchus: Ok, that's not really fair! The sitter took my picture right after i finished eating some food and I was making a face! I look silly and Rex looks all nice in his picture... I can't believe the sitter is actually going to put that up!

Liberty and the kitties: We were all over the place this morning, some of us wanted cuddles, some of us wanted solitude, but we all NEEEDED FOOD! So the sitter helped us out with that! WHOO! Thank you mister sitter!

Raven: It was kind of yucky out there today but the run felt good. We got tiiired out! I would've done it all again though!

Cooper: We came home and looked for you but you were no where to be found! Then the sitter gave us a treat to make us feel better!

Lucky, Rosie, Zoe, & Seymour: We were no where to be found but the sitter made sure our water and food were good and fuuuull up! He did our litter too! Nice!

Pete: I was chillin on the car. Yanno, doin' my thing. The sitter wanted to give me a little neck scratch but I was too high up!

Alex: I loooved the sitter! I saw him through the window while he was helping the kitties out and I let out a cute little howl so he came out and gave me lots of cuddles!

Sugar: I was a bit skeptical of the sitter but deeefinitely the most interested! I wouldn't let him pet me but I stuck to his side the whole time. He gave me a treat though and that was nice!

Sheba: I liked the sitter but didn't care much for him. I ran in to get some cuddles but then I let Alex soak up the rest. I decided to lie down under the porch thing and take a nap!

March 27, 2009

Snowflake: Yay! Its Friday! Well everyday is Friday for me! I could sense the rain and didn't want to stay outside long and kept turning around to go home but the sitter kept turning me back around to keep walking.

Liberty: At one point most of us were inside but we kept running out when the sitter walked near us. Started eating my food, I am always the only one eating right away usually.

Alex: I was the only one who was nice and friendly. So I will just take all the attention then! Pete was the friendly outside kitty...he spent most of the time sleeping on the truck though.

Cleo: I got to lay on the couch and watch movies with the sitter. When it was later in the night I followed the sitter to the room because I knew it was time for sleep.

Dixon: I like to get right in Cleo's face and bark, playing in the toy box is fun too! We have lots and lots of toys so we spread them around easily.

Mason: We were really picky with our food but the sitter kept picking our food up and then we got the hint that we should go ahead and eat so she doesn't keep taking it away.

Niffy - Just like yesterday, i didn't feel much like playing today. the sitter put my feather toy in front of me and i just walked right past it and rubbed against his leg. There wasn't even anything in my litterbox so after he gave me some fresh water, the only thing left to do was pet me and cuddle with me for a long time (that was the plan!)

Bacchus: Would you just look at us? We're kind of pathetic now (in a totally cute way, the sitter said) The both of us were rolling around on the floor begging for attention from the sitter. it's a good thing he gives it to us otherwise me might go nuts!

Rex - Yeah, today we both really wanted all the attention in the world. We followed the sitter around the apartment while he took care of things and even after he put canned food down, we kept all our attention on him. he reminded us that food usually snags our attention. he felt special, he said.

Cody: Once again, all this rainy looking weather without a drop to show for it. The sitter told me that he wasn't even going to bring an umbrella on our walk. Which i though was fair because if it did start raining, I didn't have an umbrella to protect me from getting all siggy. But, like usual, no rain = awesome walk!

MJ: The sitter came inside and got to say hello to Pathfinder first because I was crated up. But that's ok, I waited patiently like a good girl! When it was time for the walk, the sitter tried to figure out the harness and couldn't do it but the quickly remembered that the chain is for me and Pathfinder already has a collar. Silly sitter!

Pathfinder: I insisted on taking my rawhide on the walk even though the sitter told me I might lose it. I kept putting it down and the sitter had to remind me to get it. Well, I guess both me and the sitter forgot about it once because He noticed that i didn't have it anymore :( I'm sure there are more back home but i really liked that one!

Yogi: There was a lot of traffic on the road today. All of the trucks and motorcycles made me jump. Eventually we got to an area where it died down and my nerves were able to rest.

Cooper: Yikes! I sure miss the wind. The gnats were swarming us on our jog so we had to step it up a notch in speed to get away from them. Good thing we can go that fast thanks to these dog-jogs.

Raven: Our dog-jog today was sweaty with a touch of hot and a side of gnats. Cooper and I ran our legs off and now it's time for a nice gnat-free nap.

Emmie: I was feeling better about the sitter today. I came up and said hello with tail a waggin'! We went for a nice walk and came back in for a nice treat!

Tallulah: I'm so exciiited! My tail was waggin' faster and harder than Emmie's but I guess it's not a competition! At least that's what she says.

Mattie: The sitter told me to stop growing up but I can't help it! We saw a little mouse outside today but I didn't do anything just kept looking for a place to do my biz-neeess. I'm getting older and getting hold of some street slang, yanno?

Lookey Dookey: We had a visitor tonight. Mr. Possum decided to pay us an unexpected visit and eat all of our food. The sitter called for help and Mr. Possum found his way home. Then we got some more food!

March 26, 2009

Coco: We had made a big mess in the house since one of us doesn't pee right in the litter box. Got all tangled up during the walk and walked in the water to make paw prints.

Lula: A dog down the street was barking at us so we barked back at him for the longest time. Other than that we wanted to go in different directions and got all tangled up. We had some wet food once we came back in for our breakfast.

Bacchus: I decided to be all nice and friendly! was in hiding for a while but I done forgot what my parent's look like so I am not as scared anymore!

Cujo: I am walking better but I am still stubborn and like to fight the sitter to go back home. I walk even better when it is really time to go back, isn't that amazing?!

Pearl: I wish I could be a bear so I could hibernate for a long long time! And live in the middle of nowhere in a cave! I am just way too shy!

Snowflake: Its walk time again! Everything went well. Patches decided to bark and go crazy over a truck and it made me jump since I don't see that well...I thought he was coming after me. He is crazy!

Sunny: Yay! The sitter is back. I greeted him by the front door again hoping to get first dibs on food. Bridget and I gobbled that food so fast!

Yogi: It was quite stinky outside today. Once the sitter and I walked past the docks we got some fresh air. I got to sniff all the flowers and objects of interest along the road so i was very happy.

Raven: It was so windy today! During our walk with the sitter we had to all shield our eyes because of the leaves and seeds blowing all over the place. The wind also kept us cool though, so it was still a good run.

Cooper: Today when the sitter was putting on my leash, I accidentally made a yogurt burb in his face. He looked quite surprised and told me it was quite smelly.

Emmy: I wish I had had as much fun as Tallulah during our afternoon walk. But the wind was blowing hard and I kept hearing branches break and other sounds that startled me. I hope tonight is warm and quiet.

Tallulah: What a wonderful walk Emmy and I had with the sitter. Felicia joined us but only for part of it. She got distracted by some birds. I was still sleepy when we got back so I stretched out and napped. We had a pet parade during our walk! Felicia joined us as we strolled around the neighborhood. When it started to rain they all wanted to go home and get inside.

Cody: The sitter came over again to see me and take me out on a walk. it looks like it's going to rain, though. But i remember when he was here last it looked the same and it never rained at all. That's what the weather seems to be like lately. All bark and no bite! Needless to say, because it didn't rain, we had a great walk!

Niffy: When the sitter came over, i was waiting for him right by the door. he could hear me as he was unlocking the deadbolt. i was telling him to hurry up because i was ready to say hello. We tried to play a little bit but today I was much more interested in just getting some good cuddles and scratches. So we did that instead.

Liberty: There's so many cats here all the time but I was the only one that the sitter saw for more than a second today! All of the other ones felt like being skittish and running away when he got close. i don't get it, he was giving everybody food and that's my favorite part of the day!

March 25, 2009

Max: I love to jump and lean all over the sitter. I don't share too much with Shadow, I must get all the food and attention! I pout a lot if I am not by the sitter...so spoiled!!!

Shadow: Max is a hog in so many ways! I am just glad I get the house mostly to myself all night so I can eat and enjoy toys by myself! I need a break from that crazy boy!

Liberty: The orange cats came in the kitchen with me to eat. One of them ate some treats and a little bit of the wet food. The litter box is staying clean since we are outside a lot now.

Daisy: Harmon went outside when I came in from outside. He was talking about his new treats he can't wait to eat. I don't always want my treats but he loves his!

Pearl: It wasn't that noisy outside luckily! I did my usual of peeing right when I get off the porch. When I got back inside I wanted to run to my crate...its my own special area.

Mattie: I can't wait to get over all this yuckyness! Soon I will be able to play and jump on the couch like I used to! And my tummy won't be so weird anymore.

Cody: Sleepovers mean friends can come over and play with me! We had an interesting time during our walk! A big black dog was on its porch and we realized after it kept on walking and barking at us that it wasn't gonna stay in its yard. It followed us two houses down but luckily didn't get too close. I think he was just old and grumpy.

Cleo: I couldn't help but pee when the sitter picked me up. I actually remembered her and didn't get scared. She thinks I am tiny since I am shaved now.

Mason: We were really quiet for once and didn't bark and play all night. What happened?!

Dixon: I barked in Cleo's face and jumped on her. I am a mean younger brother, its my job!

Yogi: The sitter and I went for a walk today but all I really wanted to do was sniff eeeeverything! I pretty much ran back when the sitter turned around. I like being in my home! We got back and I got some fresh water and cuddles!

Emmie: I'm a little timid with the sitter. I know he means no harm but I just like to keep cautious! Felicia followed us on our walks, it was funny!

Tallulah: I loved the sitter! Jumped around and getting lots of cuddles! I pee a little when I'm excited but the sitter cleans it up. He made sure our food was filled and gave us lots of fresh water!

Raven: I really wanted to pee on a fire ant mound today but all the ants started coming out and the sitter saved me from them attacking me! Close call. I peed some where else instead!

Cooper: I had no problem eating my snack today. It was taaasty! It's a nice day out but it might rain a little later. It better not!

Shadow: The sitter and I played some fetch this afternoon, even though I don't know how to bring it back. It's more like he throws something and I run and eat it, then get distracted and go bark at something!

Max: I try to play with shadow but she doesn't like it so Instead I just go and sit reeeeeal close by the sitter hoping for cuddles. Which I get! We went back inside for fresh water and a treat!!

Liberty: Once again, I am the only one fishing for cuddles. What's the deal? Every kitty loves cuddles! Whaaaatever, give them all to meeee!

The kitties: We were all running around outside again again again. The sitter gave us food, thanks sitter but I think we'll stay outside!

Niffy: The sitter came over today and took care of my litterbox and made sure that I had lots of fresh water to drink. I seem to go through it pretty fast. We played with my feather toy and I was trying to break the all-time record for kitty jumping height. The sitter said he wasn't sure of the current record but I could probably smash it!

Rex: As soon as the sitter walked in, i hit the floor and rolled around so the he could get me from all sides. This all happened before he even had time to say hello. it's because I saw him coming up through the window. Bacchus and I are sneaky like that.

Bacchus:The sitter knows now that I'm really friendly. Both me and Rex are awesome kitties, he said. I'm so friendly that I get in the sitter's way alot when he's trying to do stuff like feed us or even walk around. i can't help it! I just like all the attention!

Bella: The sitter ran over here from his apartment. he told me that it's farther than he thought so he looked pooped! We said hello and then went out in the backyard to potty and hang out. After a bit, i laid down on the grass and nearly fell asleep because it was so nice out there. The sitter was nodding off too. That would have been funny!

March 24, 2009

Niffy: The sitter came over and played with me and my feather toy. But he also brought out the stuffed kitty and caught me up on my tackle training. I may look like a sweet little kitten but I'm pretty savage underneath when I have to be!

Rex: When the sitter got here I was ready to greet him right at the door. he gave me lots of good kitty scratches and then he went and got our food ready. After he did the food, he was playing with me a little bit and guess who decided to show up?

Bacchus: That's right. I finally came out of my hiding spot to say hello to the sitter. he was starting to think that I didn't really exist because I never came out to say hello before. The sitter was surprised to see how nice I was despite staying in hiding for almost a week.

Daisy: As soon as the sitter came inside I came barreling down the stairs with lots of excitement. I was jumping up and down and spinning in circles. After I went potty, The sitter just sat out on the lawn with me for a little bit because i didn't feel much like waking.

Harmon: I was sitting in the window when the sitter arrived and then when Daisy came hauling down the stairs, i got out of the way! After they came back in side the sitter let me go outside. I wanted out right away because I knew there was lots of stuff to do out there.

Raven: When the sitter came over, Cooper was acting nuts like usual and biting on his hand. He got our leashes ready right away and off we went. Today i didn't feel much like keeping up on our run so i was being a bit difficult but the sitter made me push on.

Cooper: Raven is usually the one who's a lazy bum. Even though I'm younger and have alot more energy doesn't mean that he has the right to be lazy! We both pooped on our run today, though which is a good thing, right?!

Wilson: Today the sitter came over and I could hear him playing with the cat before he saw me and got me out of my room. That was making me go crazy! he figured he'd better come get me before i went totally nuts. he figured right! We had a good walk today with lots of stuff to look and and smell. I saw a number of kitties and put up the Mohawk on my back when I saw them.

Cody - I wanted to hide from the sitter at first. he couldn't find me right away and it took him a couple calls of my name before he saw me. After that, we went on a nice long walk. It looked like it was going to rain but only barely sprinkled on us so that's good. We came back inside and the sitter gave me a treat for being so much fun!

Liberty: When the sitter came in, I was sitting there on the counter looking all important and regal. The sitter gave me a couple of kitty scratches and and then went to say hello to the other kitties. When he came back, I was ready for my dinner!

Latte: The sitter said hello to all of us but when he approached a few of them, they ran away! I don't get it, specially cause he wanted to give us food! That's the best parts of the day is food time.

Max: The sitter came over to play a bit and then let us in for the night. I got so excited that I had a tiny bit of an accident but it was on the hardwood and the sitter got it up right away so no worries. Hey, I'm allowed! I'm still a puppy, you know!

Shadow: The sitter came and got us and we were both going crazy and circling around him. Whenever he bent down to pet me, I frantically looked for a toy to grab. if there wasn't one near, i accepted defeat and let him pet me. After all that excitement, it's going to be easy to sleep tonight.

Yogi: I was super excited! I almost ran out the apartment but ofcourse she won't let me do that. Some dogs were barking at me and I got really scared and ran in the other direction. The dogs were not even outside to where they could get me and I was still wimpy!

Snowflake: I had sticker balls hanging off my hair...ugh! So annoying! I don't see that well and wasn't sure what it was so I needed some help. I was really freaked out by all the commotion outside. They need to finish that house so I can walk down the road in peace!

Tuesday, March 24, 2009

March 23, 2009

Snowflake: I was getting dizzy walking sideways and backwards. She kept tricking me into walking straight and I tricked her into going back toward the house.

Toby: It is time to eat again! So you hurry up and feed us!

Patty: I actually jumped up on the counter to get petted! Usually its all about food! After that I did run to the garage to eat!

Liberty: We weren't interested in the food all that much, we will eat when she leaves. I guess its okay most of us hide because it would be crazy to have a bunch of friendly cats trying to get petted all at once! When the sitter came back at night, I got all the cuddles.

The other kitties: We were all running away from the sitter outside but He made sure to leave us all a ton of food! We'll eat a little later!

Max: We broke out the barricade and we were in the yard again! I like to dig so she made us stay on the porch until it got dark...phooey! I just like to play. The sitter came in and we went out front for a quick pee then some play time! When not playing, I like to: sit as close as I can to the sitter, annoy my sister, Shadow, run around knocking pillows off the couch, and getting treats!

Shadow: Max sure doesn't like to share the sitter! He flops all on her if I even want to get petted! It's just not fair!! I really like to beat up that raccoon I have. I shake it all around real hard and then Max comes and triers to take it... that's when I get reeeeal angry!

Raven: It was beautiful out. There were bees and butterflies beeing and butterflying this way and that way. We didn't get distracted though, we kept on jogging.

Cooper: It feels good to run. Work some of those extra calories off. Keep in the ultimate doggy shape.

Yogi: I was so excited to see my sitter when he came. I love going out on strolls, having the breeze blow through my fur, smelling all the scents of the islands in the wind. It's rather lovely.

March 22, 2009

Chelsea: Oliver kept stealing my treats right out from under my nose! The sitter made up for them though! We had breakfast too, and inhaled that, then I was excited for a walk! Too excited to let the sitter put my leash on! And when we got outside, after taking care of my business, I started down the sidewalk! It made me so happy!

Captain: Breakfast time! Yum! That was good! Walk time! Hey, I'm gonna catch this squirrel! Ah, he got away! I need to learn how to climb trees!

Pacquita: I have so much energy I just want to run up and down the street nonstop and in circles around the sitter so we tie him up with the leashes! I love walks!

Toby: Hello Mr. Sitter! Welcome back! You should let me outside! I guess I'll settle for some delicious fresh wet food!

Penny: The sitter is back! He gave us treats and gave me lots of attention while we sat in the back porch! It was chilly, but I needed some fresh air!-Patty
Purr!

Rex: I was super friendly today! Bacchus wasn't feeling as social though! The sitter couldn't find him, but he could tell he was there because of all the evidence in the litter box! We got fed, but I wasn't interested in that! I played with my string toy some, but mostly I just wanted my neck scratched!

Annabelle: I was in the mood for games today. First I challenged the sitter by poo-ing in FOUR different places. Then I sneaked up on some squirrels and scared them good. When we got back home I ran around the sitter in circles with my rabbit squeaking it! All I wanted to do was smell flowers today. I just buried my face in every bush I saw and breathed in the wonderful scents. They didn't taste nearly as good though.

Buster: The sitter looked a bit sleepy when he walked in, so I thought I would do him a favor and bark a lot to wake him up. It definitely worked but I think everyone in the village heard me too. Oops!

Zeke: Woops! The sitter caught me. When he went looking for my bowl he found it right in front of the TV. He asked me why and I confessed that I had stayed up late wathing TV. He said it was fine and took me on a nice long walk.

Sunny: I like this sitter person. He puts out food and makes sure there is water for us. He even pet me a bit after I gobbled down on some breakfast.

Shadow: We were hanging out in the front yard when the sitter came. He was confuuused! Were we allowed to be there? I don't know but we were being good pups!

Max: This afternoon the sitter came over for some playtime and a walk. As usual I shared my excitement narrowly missing the sitter's shoes. We walked the bike trails and I found the biggest pine cone in the world! We went on one more evening walk before bedtime. Then it was time to say good night *Yaaaaaaawn* Good night!

Lucy: Who is this sitter? He is very charming whoever he is. He came in and we said hello then he put out more food for me and changed my litter. He must be my new personal assistant!

Charlie: I was really excited to see the sitter this morning! He gave me some cuddles right off the bat and then gave me some food, but then...it was walk time. I didn't want to go and instead just laid around on the grass. Then we came in for more cuddles, WHOO!

Liberty & the gang: There's so many of us! For the most part we were all outside saying a quick hello and running off. The sitter set our food out for us but we didn't come inside, even when he called out "dinner time!"

Niffy: This sitter is getting to know me pretty well, isn't he? He knows what kind of stuff I like to play with and the noises I make when he's coming inside to say hello. He said he thinks it's the funniest how, every time, when he's leaving, I always go for my food bowl and take a few bites from it. it doesn't really make sense, I just do it!

March 21, 2009

Buster: Wooof! I met the sitter at the door and wouldn't stop barking until we got outside! He tried to get me to quiet down, but it didn't work until I was out of the house and sniffing all the plants! I had to figure out which ones smelled the best so I could pee on them!

Shadow: I made a big yawn when the sitter got here this morning! Then I was ready for my morning walk! Max was super excited to see the sitter! He's so crazy! And he devoured his breakfast in seconds! It had to have been a world record!

Luke: I was real curious about the sitter as he set up our breakfast buffet! I was scared of him though, and wouldn't let him get too close! But he heard me running around the house like a mad cat! Liberty let him pet her though! She gets along real well with him.

Lucy: Somebody's here! Hello Somebody! Let's sit out on the porch for a while, because I'm more interested in the outside than in my food right now! I would love some treats though! Yum!

Annabelle: I'm so ready to go for a walk! As soon as I get outside though I start sneezing! It was over soon though, and me and the sitter started running all over the neighborhood! I saw lots of cats and dogs that barked at me! They're wishing they could run around us! I just love to bark my excitement to the world all the time. If you listen closely it's a song, I just need to practice more. I had a fun walk, I sang-barked during that too! I went around a corner and straight into the middle of a bunch of stray cats. They were as surprised as we were and they all ran in different directions.

L.C: As soon as the sitter walked in I started begging him for food, but once he gave it to me I just wanted to be pet! He didn't understand that, but I just wanted to know it was there! I played some with my mouse and Indie even came out, sort of. He let the sitter give him some treats. He liked those! So did I! I love wiggling and rolling around on the carpet in a patch of sunlight. I especially love when this is coupled with hands running up and down my entire body. hey, a cat has his desires.

Dolce: There is nothing better then snuggling in a comfortable lap or getting my head scratched and belly rubbed or being played with and having a meow-riffic conversation. My morning was great! How was yours?

Scratch: It was so windy outside today. It was making all kinds of racket and I was nervous. The sitter comforted me and I forgot all about the wind. Until he left and it started again!

Max: For a little dog, Shadow sure can walk fast. I like to take things easy and slow, enjoy the breeze. Well today they were more like gusts but it was still nice. I would probably take my time even if it were raining.

Shadow: O my! It is so windy outside I hope I don't get blown away! I just don't have the girth of my buddy Max and I worry sometimes that I will become a canine kite any second.

Liberty: Dinner was excellent tonight though most of my family ate outside since the weather has been good. The sitter put fresh water in all of our bowls and cleaned our litter though it seems like we have been favoring the outside soil.

Zeke: This morning the sitter and i had so much fun. First we went on a walk and I pooped out a bird! Then we came back and I had a delicious breakfast. After that we played in the yard! Woo! I realized that in the shadows I have natural camouflage. Tonight when I was out walking with the sitter I spooked someone who thought the sitter was alone. How silly!

Chelsea: The sitter came over this morning to give us some food and take us out to potty. We were already totally awake and ready for him to show up so it was craziness from the second he set foot in the house! The sitter gave us each a treat or two to take our minds off the food we weren't getting to eat. After that we both went outside for a nice stroll and a potty break.

Oliver: The sitter said that he gave us the last of our food but, no worries, he'd bring more for us when he cam back this afternoon so that we'd have some tomorrow morning! that's a relief. I love food waaaay too much to go without it! Ok, so the sitter brought food but we don't get any of it? what's the deal? I mean, I know he said it was for our breakfast and I know we already ate today and all that but it's still not fair. I won't tell, I promise!

Captain: The sitter came on and we were both going nuts in our crates until he let us out. He gave us our breakfast but we were totally more focused on him and that fact that we'd soon be out on our morning walk! We both had to go pretty bad, too! We got to go on anothr walk tonight. During the walk, there was another dog barking at us from inside his house. I'd like to see him come out here and say that to my face, huh? I also saw a kitty and tried to sneak up on it but those kitties are pretty shifty.

Paquita: When we went outside, there were a lot of boy scouts to say hello to. We were still just crazy excited to be outside so anything would have been awesome but still, it was nice to have a bunch of people to say hello to instead of just the sitter. The walk was nice. Captain was peeing on everything he saw. Sometimes he'd even lift his leg over something and nothing would cm eout! i think he tries too hard sometimes...crazy dog!

Toby: The sitter came in and said he was going to look for Baby and we all told im "yeah, good luck". I just wanted him to make with the food, he knows the deal. I've gotta sample each one before the other cats get to it, so I know which bowl is the best one to eat from!

Patty: Yeah, no luck finding Baby, she's a real good hider. Toby was in the garage buttering up the sitter like usual while the rest of us waited patiently and out of the way. That cat is so funny sometimes. (ok, all the time)

Penny: The sitter came and said hello to me. I was on the windowsill like yesterday. I didn't feel much like moving, though.

Niffy: The sitter came back over and gave me some more food and fresh water. he gave me a couple of treats too. He likes how I can take them from him without biting his fingers. he said a lot of cats won't do that, they'll just bite hard on anything that even smells like a treat...go figure.

Rex: The sitter came back over this morning to say hello and take care of me. He cracked open hat can of food and I started to go nuts. I was telling him to hurry up because I wanted to eat it! After I calmed down from the food a little bit, and fatter he scooped out my box, we played for a bit and i got some kitty scratches on my head.

Bailey: When the sitter showed up, we were waiting at the door for him. We wanted to say hello really badly so we started before he even came inside. Then we continued after he walked in. I gave him some hugs and let him know how excited I was to see him.

Jasmine: We went on a nice walk that was pretty lazy, actually. Even Bailey as pretty calm the whole time which is a major feat because he's always going nuts about every little thing!

Charlie: The sitter came over to play with me again. We ran around the yard and he tried to get my stick from me (I'm glad he found that thing!). I was dodging him and weaving al around stuff like nobody's business. I even made the sitter fall when he lunged at me and i changed directions quicker than he could react! Ok, Even though my parents won't be coming home tonight like they said they would, I'll let it slide as long as i get to play with the sitter again! We did our usual run around the backyard with him chasing me and failing at it. After a while, this time I sat down and chewed my bone and the sitter sat down with me and gave me a good belly rub which was awesome!

March 20, 2009

Snowflake: I walked and I walked then I decided to walk to the left then to the right, then go back the other way. My nose had me all over the place today! Once my nose goes I don't know what I will do!

Yogi: I am crazy about riding on the elevator. Good thing noone is ever having to ride with me because I don't wait for people to get on or off! I must be first at all times!

Max: We charged the sitter when he got here! It's play time! I was so happy to see him! I need attention! All the attention! Shadow needs to understand that I'm a needy puppy! Once I calmed down enough for him to put my leash on, the sitter took us for a walk in the dark down some paths and I got a little scared a few times! But he calmed me down and kept me safe! Shadow wasn't scared of anything though! She's a tough dog! The sitter took pictures of my enormous paws. She wouldn't let me jump all over her because she said that I will be able to knock someone over when I get older. I have been digging in the front yard so I will be staying on the back porch during the day.

Shadow: Max ruins all the fun sometimes! I told him not to dig but he didn't listen! I don't know what the point of digging is anyway, it just gets you all dirty!

Raven & Cooper: We got another great run today! The sitter has been running us alot harder lately! I can keep up for a few minutes, but even I slow down halfway down the road! He says we should be able to run faster than him since we have twice as many legs! But he doesn't know! It takes us a lot more energy to move all our legs!

Annabelle:I went on a gentle stroll through the neighborhood this morning. I didn't say much just enjoyed the sounds of the waking city. When I got back I got one of my sausage sticks! Yum! I'm super excitable today! On our walk I challenged the sitter to another race, and almost won! I talked to a few cats too! But I kept my distance because I don't trust them! He came back for another walk at night too! After our walk we came inside and I kept barking at him! It took him a while to understand that I want to play fetch with my frog toy!

Dolce: I was a very talkative kitty this morning. I tried to distract the sitter from his chores, but he wouldn't give me the 200% attention I needed until he was done. Then I started acting silly on my scratching tower.

Scratch: Woohoo! The sitter is here and that means two things to me. Brushing and scratching, and fresh food and water. A little laser action would be nice too.

Mavi: When my sitter got here today I couldn;t help myself. I climbed up his pant leg and begged for a pet session. He said I was purring like a finely tuned engine. Whatever that is.

Charlie: The sitter came over this morning to give me some breakfast and take me out to play. I had no interest in my food right away. I just wanted to get out there and run around with the sitter. He found a stick and threw it for me. I don't really play fetch so much as I fetch the stick one time and spend the rest of the time making you chase me around for it! When sitter came back over to play with me. I still had my stick out there and I spent the whole time just running away from him. Sometimes I'd lay down and just try and chew on my stick but the sitter would provoke me and get me to stand back up and run away from him. I wonder how he gets me to do that...

Toby: The sitter came over and i was ready to greet him like usual. He gave me some kitty scratches and then headed to the garage (which is what I really wanted anyways!)

Patty: That toby is so funny, He still makes me laugh how crazy he goes for that food. Even his meow changes a little bit. he kind of draws it out and it gets deeper. What a silly cat.

Penny: The sitter approached me today with a treat and I didn't run away or anything. He gave me some good scratches and attention but I still stayed where i was. i decided to wait until he left to eat my breakfast.

Bella: The sitter and I spent most of our time out in the backyard today. It was very nice out so we wanted to soak it up! I layed down on the grass and eventually just went nuts and sprawled out and started to roll around. It feels really good cause the grass is nice and scratchy. People should try that more often.

Rex: Hey, the sitter came back over! He gave me a good hello by scratching ym head a bunch and then I followed him around while he tok care of the food, water and litter box. After he did all that, I plopped down on the ground and rolled over so he could get my belly. We played with some toys for a bit too. Not too much but it was still fun to chase them around.

Niffy: The sitter came over today and he remembered to bring his yarn to fix my toy! It looks a little different but it's still alot of fun to play with. (I bet I'll break it again pretty soon, this guy doesn't look too much like a craftsman!). The only important thing is that I can try to snag those feathers and jump up really high to try and get it. That's my favorite part!

Chelsea: The sitter came over to take us out on a walk so we could get our exercise and go potty. We both got really excited and, when he came in, barked like wild dogs even though he was standing right there! He took us out and we had a good walk. When the sitter came back over to take us out before going to bed. We were still plenty excited even though it was getting closer to bed time! he took us out and we both went potty.

Oliver: Like usual, on our walk, I had to bite my leash and carry it around with me. My goal this time was to get it all super soggy and foamy with my slobber because I knew the sitter was going to have to touch it when he took it off my collar. We went on a pretty long walk too, so I had lots of time to get it really gross for him! I don't know what the sitter is talking about with this bedtime business. it's only like 8:30 and we're not babies. Only babies go to bed that early. But I guess we can get settled in and that way we can go to bed whenever we want, right?

Jasmine: The sitter came over and we were waiting patiently in the garage for him. We knew he was coming because we could hear him pull up to the driveway. During our walk, the sitter just stayed back with me while Bailey ran around and chased after squirrels. You know, the usual!

Bailey: I got so excited when the sitter showed up that even though he was right there and giving me lots of attention, i was still whining and asking for it. I was just excited to get out on that walk. it was a god one, too. There were lots of things for me to look at and chase after!

Sake: The sitter came over to give me food and clean out my box. After he did those, he grabbed my feather toy and played around with me for a bit. I plopped on my side and tried to grab the feathers that way. before he left, he put some catnip on my scratcher which always makes me crazy!

Captain: The sitter came over to take us on or walk and boy were we super excited! We were dancing around and hopping up and down while he tried to hook us up to our leashes! It's good to get out there and run while and act like crazy dogs for a bit!

Paquita: The walk was awesome. We were both so excited that we kept getting ourselves tangled up with each others leashes but the sitter made sure it never got too bad. He's pretty good at getting us undone. We both did our business and eventually wound down enough for the sitter to take us back in and get ready to go to bed.

March 19, 2009

Yogi: I was so scared of a dog that was walking towards me! It was barking at me so I had to go a different way, he was saying a lot of mean things to me!

Max: I get so excited I pee all over myself and the ground! Good thing when I do it I'm outside! We stayed outside for half the day then came back in around lunch time to stay on the porch.

Shadow: Max wouldn't let me get petted at all! He kept pushing me to the side and flopping all over the sitter. He is so greedy! Its just not fair!

Sake: The sitter came over and I was right next to the door meowing hello. He said hello back and cleaned out my box for me. After that he gave me some more food and water and we played with my feather toy for a while. He gave me some catnip again before leaving and I was all over it.

Niffy: The sitter was here again and we had some more fun today. he said he was going to try and semi-fix my stick with the string and feather but he forgot his yarn today. he said he'll try to remember tomorrow. We played with my stuffed kitty instead.

Rex: So me and the sitters are really good buddies now. I let him pet me and he got all the right spots so I followed him around while he got more food and water and cleaned out the box. After that we played a bit with my string toy and I rolled over to show him my belly (in kitty language that means "I trust you!").

Toby: Once again me and Patty were the only ones who wanted to say hello this morning. The sitter saw the other guys and said hello but they pretended like they didn't hear him. They were hiding. The sitter went to the garage and took care of the boxes and our buffet.

Patty: Look at Toby in there sucking up to the sitter trying to get him to put out the food faster! It's kind of sad, really. Meanwhile, I'm sitting here in the kitchen waiting very patiently. The food will still be there when he exits the kitchen, you know!

Raven: I was being kind of lazy on our run today...I was lagging behind and kept trying t stop to smell stuff. the sitter let me stop to see if it was for a potty break, but i just wanted to smell things. I didn't feel like running today but the sitter made me press on!

Cooper: Whatever! Raven was just holding me up. I could have gone forever and never stopped. Not even for a drink of water! I mean, I'll gladly drink some water when we get back inside but, just so you know, it's not because I have to...because i want to

Wilson: The sitter and i went on a great walk today. We took a different way than we normally go so it was nice to get some new scenery going on. What made the walk even better is that right when we got back, my mom came home and I got super excited! I mean, I'm always excited when the sitter gets here to walk but he said he never saw me so excited before!

Charlie: The sitter came over and gave me some food and fresh water and took me outside (not before jumping up and giving him a super massive hug, though!). We tried to go out on a walk but I was being stubborn again decided to lay down in the shade! So the sitter just ran around with me a bit. We found a stick to play with too. The house was pretty busy when the sitter showed back up. The cleaners were already there and then he came in, it was like a little party! I was out on the back porch so I wouldn't get in the cleaners' way so the sitter came out back to run around with me (he's given up on trying to walk me!) I found my stick from earlier and ran around the playground set until the sitter got dizzy... Amateur!

Dolce: The sitter is here to give me lots of attention! I rolled around on my scratch post while he scratched my back and purr! I'm so friendly! How about some food now Mr. Sitter!

Tank: I was real happy to see the sitter, but I didn't feel like walking today! He had to bribe me out of the house with a treat and I froze up partway down the street and just sat down! I told him I didn't want to walk! I just want to sit inside and get my back scratched!

Scratch: I was energetic today! Once the sitter dropped me some catnip I was running up and down the apartment! Once I calmed down and had some tuna I let him brush me for a while! Man, that was nice!

Snowflake: The sitter couldn't find me today! I win! I wasn't on the bed or behind the couch cushions! The sitter suspected that I was hiding underneath the bed somewhere... He'll never find my new hiding spot!

Mattie: I was real good on my walk today! And it was so nice out! I tried to eat a few bugs, but the sitter wouldn't let me! I'm so good at finding them though! After our walk we came in for some petting time!

Pearl: I wasn't scared of the sitter today! I was scared of the outside though! Those cars were so loud, so after I peed I scrambled to get back inside, but the sitter convinced me to walk a little more! I went halfway down the alley and refused to go any further so we went back in and I laid on the sitter and got my neck scratched! I loved it!

Annabelle: We had a great walk tonight! I had so much energy I raced the sitter down the sidewalk! I let him win, of course! Then when we came back in he gave me delicious jerky treats and we played some fetch with my toys!

Snowflake the poodle: I walked a crab again today. I like to walk in different directions because my best "sense" is my sense of smell so I must go wherever my nose may take me!!

March 18, 2009

Maggie: I wasn't sure about having a new friend but once she got my leash my mood changed. I licked a lot today, I love to lick! She gave me more food since I was about out and my water since I love to drink!

Scratch: My name is scratch for a reason! I did a lot of that when the sitter was making sure I had everything. She gave me tuna, I ate a little so I could save the rest for later!

Snowflake the kitty: Hello from under the covers! I am in my usual spot waiting to come back out so I can eat.

Daisy: After I was done outside instead of running upstairs I actually sat on the couch and let the sitter pet me some more. I enjoyed some bacon too!

Shadow: The sitter woke us up and we were so happy to see him! We had breakfast, then played in the yard for a while! Max brought out my raccoon toy so we played fetch with it for a while, but I had to battle that big puppy for it a few times! He kept forgetting that it was mine!

Bella: I was sleeping on the bed when the sitter came in and I had him pet me for a while before I got up and went for a walk! It was so nice out! I even felt like running some! But mostly I just sniffed around the neighborhood!

Yogi: I met the sitter at the door this afternoon and he was very friendly! He gave me a little food and then took me for a walk once he found my leash! I led him down the street and we went into the park for a while too! I sniffed every planet there! They smell great! I'm such a happy dog!

Cooper: The sitter is here! I haven't seen him in so long! I'm gonna chew on his arm! After that he ran us so much we could barely keep up towards the end! I got some energy after my snack though!

Mavi: Somebody's here! Pet me! Pet me! I need attention so bad I'm not even interested in food or my laser toy! But I guess since you set it out I'll eat some...

Lula: The sitter came over today and we both gave our usual spectacular performances of excitement. He got us some more food and water as well as the kitties. As soon as he put that scoop of soft food on top, we were all over it! He laughed at how I just took my scoop off the bowl and ran away with it.

Coco: After the walk, while the sitter was scooping out the boxes and tidying up our accidents, Lula and I were running all over the house fighting over that little stuffed red doggie. It's ok, I held firm and didn't let her take it from me!

Niffy: The sitter stopped by again today and put some more food in my feeder and gave me some fresh water. Then he went and took care of my box while I rubbed against him and watched. He found my stick with the feathers attached to it only the feathers were no longer attached to it :( So we weren't able to play with that toy...

Toby: As usual, I was right at the door to say hello to the sitter when he came in. He said hello back and said hello to Patty as well because she was right there with me. He got to work getting our food ready and each time he put some canned food in one of our bowls, I had to sample a little bit of each one.

Patty: The sitter said hello to me and went right to the garage after that to get our stuff taken care of. Unlike Toby, I waited for him to finish before partaking in the buffet. Once again, we were the only kitties today who felt like saying hello. the sitter saw the other ones but he could tell they felt like being shy today.

Bacchus: The sitter will never ever find me!....

Rex: I was sitting on the windowsill behind the couch and peeking over the back of the couch so i could keep an eye on the sitter while he got some food for us and scooped out our box. I was a little braver yesterday but today I'm going to play it safe. he knew I was there, which was good enough for me.

Sake: The sitter came in and said hello to me. Careful not to pet me too much because he remembers hearing that I can bite sometimes. yeah...that's right. Watch out! He cleaned out my box and got me some more food and water. then he played with me with that feather toy that I have. Before he left, he sprinkled some catnip on my scratcher and i went nuts over it.

Charlie:
The sitter came over and i gave him another ultra hug to say hello. he got me hooked up to my leash and I gladly ran out outside into the back to go potty. After that we were heading towards the front yard and i just plopped down in the shade. The sitter said "hey Charlie! What's the deal?" and tried to move me. Ah, I love being a huge dog!

Snowflake the Poodle: I wanted to walk all over the grassy area. I walked sideways like a crab and backwards. Must be my eyes getting bad, oh well I still have 4 good legs!

March 17, 2009 HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY

Savannah the beagle: Today on my walk with the sitter I found a trail. It was quite interesting so I followed it with my nose the whole walk. It was so familiar. Then I realized why. It was Max's trail I was following!

Maddie the beagle: The sitter walked with me today. There were so many fun scents in the breeze. I thought about all of them and tried to imagine what they would taste like.

Max the beagle:Oh yay! It's dinner time! How does that sitter know just how we like it? After we went for a walk, though more of a dog-jog in terms of pace. I like seeing the sitter out of breath.
Yogi: It is such a lovely day for a walk and the sitter took me out. There were fresh flowers and shrubs planted and I just had to stop and smell them. Life would be so dull without this amazing sniffer I've got.

Max the Burmese Mtn: It sure feels good outside! The sitter took me on a walk then we romped and played in the yard. I was so excited to play that I peed everywhere in celebration!

Shadow: When the sitter arrived, Max and I were playing in the yard. We were having so much fun he joined us! Then he got us all set up for the night with food, water, hugs and cuddles!!!

Bella: That sitter sure did startle me at first. But once we got to know each other we had a great time with my ball in the yard. I also had a fabulous dinner and took my meds without complaint.

Sadie: Boy I am missing all the festivities, but I found a green feather to play with before we walked. The sitter came back so I get to play outside and walk again! This can be fun even when my parents are out partying!

Lula: When the sitter arrived today, he went to grab our leashes and I started to spin furiously with excitement! he let me have at it for a while because he said he thought I was going to break the world record for consecutive rotations. He lost count but said I had to at least have been pretty close!

Coco:
During our walk the sitter had to make sure neither of us stepped in any ant hills. There were a bunch out there. i guess it's getting to be that time of year again where insects are feeling like it's safer to show themselves. Yucky!

Toby: I was the first one to say hello to the sitter when he came in. Actually, I was right by the door waiting for him. I can never wait patiently for all that food to be put out! i can't help it, it's so yummy!

Patty: I was the only other ne who felt like saying hello to the sitter today. i went right up and rubbed on his leg to say hello. I followed him around while he got our food ready and then started eating right alongside Toby

Rex: I wasn't super shy towards the sitter. When he came in, I was standing right in front of him and didn't run away. I went right up to him and he let me smell him but I wasn't about to let him touch me! Not yet anyways!

Bacchus: I stayed hidden and watched the sitter give us food and clean our box from a safe distance.

Cooper: The sitter showed up and I had to hurry up and grab my toy to show him. He was very impressed with it, I could tell, even if he didn't seem that interested! We went on our walk today and it was a good one!

Raven: yeah, I'm starting a pretty good track record with these poops! The sitter is surprised that I've been pooping semi-regularly on our runs because I usually don't do it. I'm secretly just trying to one-up Cooper!

Wilson: We had a really great walk today! The weather was perfect and there was plenty of stuff to run around and sniff. Other than it being a great day, there wasn't much else going on. just a nice, leisurely stroll. I like those!

Charlie: The sitter came over and i gave him a super hug like usual. He got my gentle leader ready for our walk and as soon as he put it on, I got very stubborn all of a sudden! I didn't want to go and I used my heftiness to make it difficult on the sitter!

Shadow: The sitter woke us up this morning and took us out for a walk all around the neighborhood after he cleaned up the big wet mess that Max made in the laundry room! I led us all over and Max followed me! I had so many smells to investigate!

Dolce: I am officially the friendliest cat in Savannah! I just want to get pet all day and just roll around and purr! The sitter couldn't find any of my toys today, but I was fine with that! Just pet me!

Snowflake: I was in a good mood today! But I still growled at the sitter when he came close to me! He knows that I'm not mean, I'm just misunderstood! That's why he takes good care of me while you're gone!

Peaches: There's so much noise outside! What's going on! I'm glad I'm safe in here! Just pet me Mr. Sitter! I need attention! And fresh water would be nice! But mostly just scratch my neck while I sit on your lap! Purr!

Scratch: The sitter dropped catnip on my scratch toys and I went crazy tearing at them! Then he gave me some delicious tuna and brushed me so much he had a big clump of my hair by the time he was done! That was nice!

Pearl: The sitter scared me when he first came in! I ran and hid under the bed, but he tricked me by throwing the ball and I went after it, then he cornered me and pet me and I realized he was pretty nice. We went out for a walk but there were so many loud people that I was petrified and didn't want to stay out long! I came back in and just got my neck scratched for a while!

March 16, 2009

Peaches: I chatted up a storm with the sitter today. It felt good to get all of that off my chest. It felt even better when the sitter rubbed my tummy.

Dolce: It's not a scratching post for scratching, it's a scratching post to get scratched on. I actually think of it almost as a throne. I am pretty prestigious.

Snowflake: A sitter came by to check on me. Ha! Check on me... I know your game sitter, I shall be checking on you! As soon as you aren't looking of course giving me the opportunity to go from one hiding place to the next.

Tank: I wasn't really in the walk today. I kept a slow pace. I just had something on my mind. It was probably lunch because when I got back back I ate and felt so much better.

Wilson: Today the sitter and I saw an army of squirrels. There must have been ten of those guys! We stayed our distance just in case they were conspiring. You never know why they are really stockpiling those nuts.

Cooper: What a run! The sitter has worn me out and I am sure Raven feels the same way. We are both huffing and out of breath, I think I am going to go lie down.

Raven: It was a swell day for a dog-jog. No distractions, just good old fashioned left feet, right feet. Those yogurt and apples sure gave me the boost I needed.

Scratch: Scratch is my name and scratches are what I love. The sitter took such good care of me today. I got a pouch of wet food and it was so delicious. Then the sitter scratched me all over.

Mavi: Yay! Someone to play with! The sitter came and I was so excited I climbed up his pant leg. We played and played and I licked him all over. I wished he could have stayed forever!

Max: It rained so hard! I ran around through it and had a blast. But when the sitter got here I was drenched. So I thought it would be a good idea to hug him! He didn't enjoy it nearly as much as I did.

Shadow: I stayed out of the rain today and kept dry. Swimming just isn't my thing and it was very wet outside. Max on the other hand got soaked and decided it was funny to shake off right next to me.

Max: It was quite wet and slippery outside. I had to be careful. I didn't want to slip into puddle and become a soggy doggy!

Savannah: The sitter walked with Maddie and I tonight. The rain had just stopped but I could still feel a little drizzle. I shook it off on the sitter.

Maddie: Yuck! The ground is all wet! What am I supposed to stuff now? I guess the sitter's shoes will do. My... my... how many other dogs do you know sitter?

Leo: I was so eager to get outside when the sitter came. I ran around like a little race car the second we stepped out.

Sophie: This sitter is a strange person. Maybe I should give him a chance. I made a whole bunch of faces at him and he laughed, so he has a sense of humor, he must be OK.

March 15, 2009

Savannah: Today on my walk with the sitter I found a leaf shaped like a star. So I ate it! It wasn't good. Not nearly as good as breakfast, or the sitter's fingers. Everyone thinks I am the cutest little puppy ever! It must be true. Everywhere we walked people wanted to pet me! It was wonderful.

Peaches: I could hear the sitter as soon as he was outside. I am sure he heard me too because I was meowing so loud. We played fight the pens and scratch my back and rub my head.

Scratch: A sitter visited me again today to make sure I was doing fine and still had plenty of supplies. We played chase the laser and I spun in circles trying to get it!

Dolce: The sitter came again and scratched and took care of me. The scratching was the best part. I rolled around in my scratching post getting my belly and sides. So sensational!

Tess: The sitter and I shared a delightful stroll this evening. I had lots of energy this morning, but tonight I just wanted to stroll. The weather was perfect and apparently every dog and their walkers thought so too. I met so many fellow canine. Then I came home and ate my dinner. I had so much energy this morning.

Aspen: There were so many awesome things to investigate during this evenings expedition with the sitter. I found a potato chip bag, a bird, some McDonalds and a whole mess of other things. But the sitter wouldn't let me have any of them!

Jackson: We were groggy this morning! The sitter woke us up and got us outside and pretty soon we were wide awake running around sniffing everything! I was so energetic! The day was lovely and perfect for a midday walk. Birds were singing and the sun was out. I stopped at every flower and sniffed. Then I ran to catch up with Aspen and the sitter.

Ebon: Who's this waking me up? I'm so tired that I actually want to spend some time in the backyard this morning! I smell something interesting on the other side of this fence... Oh well, let's go back in and play fetch with the squirrel!

Snowflake: The sitter was back today! You know I was excited! I did need some food though, because I finished all mine. Then he had to try to pet me... He should know better!

Savannah: So it's official: I'm the cutest dog in the county! But I'm intimidating too! I even chased the big sitter through the park! He was scared even though he's ten times my size! Yeah, I'm tough! I'm gonna go fight this plant!

Turn on the sink! I'm thirsty! Ahh! That's refreshing! Keep scratching my back while I drink! That's the spot! And this wet food is so delicious! Yeah, I'm happy!

Patty: I want outside! I tried to get out when the sitter came in, but he blocked me! He let me out on the back porch, but that's no fun! Guess I'll have to wait until my people get back...-Toby
The sitter laid out our buffet and I was happy! I got a little attention and alot of wet food! That's all I need!

Penny: Pet me! Pet me! Purr! I was real sociable today and just kept running back and forth between the food, the sitter and the window!
